There is also another location run by the park district, which I have not been to. That one boasts a larger workout area along with a climbing wall. I am just glad I found somewhere I feel comfortable going to, and this place makes me look forward to going to the gym each chance I get. They are open at around 5 am every day (including weekends) but close at 10pm (M-F), 8pm (Sat) and 6pm (Sun).

The trainers blast loud music and take all the weights for their classes. They do not enforce any rules and allow kids to play on the equipment. I can only hope another company comes along.

You Cannot Rely on What You're Told About Billing…read more My experience with Club Pilates has been extremely frustrating and stressful because the billing information kept changing. On July 23, I specificall asked how much I owed because I wanted to make sure my account was completely taken care of. I trusted the amount I was given, made the requested payments, and left believing everything was cleared. Then I received another call telling me I owed approximately $404. Naturally, I asked how that was possible after I had specifically asked for my total and paid what I was told. I contacted the billing department and requested an invoice. When I received it, I noticed that a $329 payment/amount I had already discussed with them was not reflected the way I expected. I questioned it because the numbers simply were not making sense based on what I had previously been told and paid. The most frustrating part has been the inconsistent information. One employee may tell you that a $25 fee has been waived, but later a manager can charge it anyway and tell you the employee was "not authorized" to waive it. Then the amounts and proposed resolutions seem to change again depending on whom you speak with. At one point, after all of this back-and-forth, I was told they could waive certain amounts while changing/reducing the membership arrangement. By then, I had completely lost confidence in the billing process. Customers should not have to wonder whether something they are told at the front desk will actually be honored later. If an employee is not authorized to waive a charge or quote an account balance, that should be made clear before a customer relies on that information and makes a payment. I have kept the invoices, payment records, screenshots, and communications supporting my experience. Based on what I personally experienced, I would not trust verbal billing information from this location. Get everything in writing and keep every receipt. Looks like just for husky they asking me to pay them $1100. Crazy!!! I reached corporate no one responded so far. Anyone aware of how to get this through. They can't just get away with scams like this

Instead of advising me of the corporate policy, of which I was unaware, and then admonishing me that if I were late again, I would not be let into class, she was heavy handed and would not let me into class. I promptly cancelled my unlimited membership since I do not wish to be part of a club where the manager is so rude and does not respect professionals that may be finishing up work and be a few minutes late. I have belonged to East Bank Club and am currently a member of Lifetime OakBrook and have never been turned away due to being a few minutes late. Moreover, on more than one occassion, several guests reeked of pot, obviously having smoked a few minutes before class. It's not an atmosphere that is relaxing or conducive to overall fitness.
