But, as I told Jenni, I felt like it was meant to be, for me to call them. I had a very good experience with her and felt that she was knowledgeable and caring. They are coming out tomorrow for inspection and air sampling, and Tuesday and I will update my review at that time. ******** Update: the specialist, John, came in and made us feel very comfortable about the process. All my interactions with this business, from the time I called Jenni, to my interactions today, were so positive, which is not something I get from all companies I deal with on a regular basis. I felt empowered to make good decisions about what needs to happen next with our home. Samples were sent to the lab. The good news is, he didn't see or smell any mold. It was $295 for the hygrometer and lab testing visit. They also offer free demos but we decided to go directly to the appointment. I was able to choose from a variety of immediate appointments, and he arrived, on time, the very next day after I spoke to the owners. I was very impressed with that. I would highly recommend this company. I can tell they have integrity and I felt confident to hire a reputable local (Tampa Bay) business. There was no upswell, no sale tactics. Anyone that knows me, knows that I write simple, honest reviews and am not swayed by people, big or small companies and I'm just a regular retired housewife who doesn't have a business to represent or a horse in the race, as the saying goes. But the business staff is horrible, I started my claim in September 2025. They started out great but after they took my insurance check for 16000 they disappeared I called repeatedly and was told I needed to pay an additional 1200 which I promptly paid. Then no work. I received another check which I refused to pay until work is completed and they no showed. I finally got them to come back and do some work. Then they disappeared again. I am a senior citizen. I just feel like they're taking total advantage of me like I said the workers are great.it's the staff. All they care about is getting money and then leaving you sitting here in my house tore up my wife is close to 80. I'm close to 80 and we're stumbling and falling all over a thing and they refused to come and do their job even though I got a check for them they want the check ,I refuse to give them a check. I think Better Business Bureau should consider their rating if they have a rating at all thank you very much. hope you don't get stuck with these people like I did. It was my choice. I would like to offer some advice if you choose DRP. Very VERY important! Verify your coverages…read morewith your insurance before signing any contracts. I cannot stress this enough! We did not have a particular coverage and ended up having to shell out quite a bit of money. Another item you may want to consider is hiring your own contractors to do the rebuild. Our insurance carrier barely covered the rebuild amount. We were able to get more than one quote to afford our rebuild. Also, we were able to complete our rebuild much faster by hiring our own contractors. DRP did a good job with the water mitigation work and cleaning up the mess. If your insurance covers all their fees, by all means go with them because they do good clean up work. I am sharing our experience in my review due to lack of insurance coverage. Not their problem, but it could help save you some money by verifying coverages with your insurance company first.
