The inspector did a thorough inspection of our entire home take took about hour and half and pointed out issues and concerns along the way. He then went over a strategy of areas to test, and costs and ultimately we reached a budget that made sense and we agreed with. In less than a week we heard back with testing results and an e-mailed report that we took to remediation company which they used to clean up our home and bring back to normal. They also helped attack the source of our mold problem (leak behind washing machine and issue with air conditioner) so that the problem goes and stays away. We've never hired a mold inspection company before, but found this company to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable. During the inspection and on the call to go over results, we learned a lot of helpful information and definitely feel the service provided here was valuable. Highly recommend Certified Mold if you think you have a mold or moisture problem.

I set up an appointment for the new home inspection for today, and owner was a NO SHOW- DIDN'T EVEN CALL TO SAY HE WASN'T COMING. To back up a bit, after I booked the new home inspection, the inspection for the home i'm selling had a few issues that came up. One was the windows, and how 5 of them have seals that are not only rotted out but have rust too. My buyers asked that I replace all of these windows or repair so I get hit in the pocket!! I emailed him to ask why the windows were not on his report from last year, and to make a long story stop, he said it probably occurred after we moved in and questioned if I took care of the rust in the back of the house coming from the roof? Not sure what he was trying to do with this, wanted to see if this was fixed, but why? He was trying to make some type of a point, one thing has nothing to with the other but I replied back yes, I took care of the roof, hired a roofer and took care of all the issues. New shingles and fittings. In his email he states "perhaps you should find another inspector", after I questioned why the windows were overlooked. So today, after waiting around with 3 of my kids and my realtor for this guy, thinking he's late, my agent text him if he was coming and he replies "i'm not working with her"??? So very unprofessional. I call him and he hangs up on me . He says to me "Are you serious"??? I'm a new widow, dealing with with a fresh untimely death, totally blindsided, buying and selling with 3 kids all under 12, we are all standing in this house waiting for John and he hangs up on me.
