We couldn't be more pleased with the service. The night before our cruise left, we were mulling over options to walk or take public transportation to the port from our hotel. With 5 people, 5 large suitcases and 5 small ones, we decided to look at Excel Limo. We reached out in the morning and received a response within two hours. They were professional and received great communication. We, also, decided to book the service after our cruise, it was great. Picked us up and drove us straight to the port. This is where it was super easy: they drive to the underground garage and pull up front to where we literally had the easiest check in for any cruise. I travel the world and this company made it super easy to book and knew exactly what was needed to transport my family, luggage and skies from Vancouver to Whistler, BC. Our driver, Andrew, and his boss (the company owner), went out of there way to ensure we had a wonderful experience - they helped us retrieve lost articles (2 coats) left in Vancouver. Andrew was kind enough to stop for coffee and to double check on our lost clothing. The ride was smooth and Andrew was extremely knowledgable about Whister. He helped us with information on skiing, information on dining, and other non-skiing things to do while visiting Whistler. Originally I had booked a 2 hour sightseeing trip in a sedan with Griffin based on a hotel recommendation. They were more expensive than most but when they took off a half hour for pickup travel time in the same city, I cancelled and called Excel. I am so glad that I did. The whole experience was perfect! Excel handled the reservation quickly and gave me the name and number of the driver the day of the pickup. The driver, Bryan, arrived early and didn't make us feel we had to rush. We were provided bottled water and Bryan was so pleasant, friendly, flexible, and professional. It was as lovely an outing as I could have hoped for. From beginning to end, this was an excellent experience. The booking was a snap and we didn't have to pay until the service was accomplished. They sent a reminder notice the day before, so from our European location, we were assured that all was well. When we arrived, Andy was waiting with a sign with my name so I didn't have to go wandering and searching for him, in my travel weary state. He had bottles of water for us, and was mindful of our possible need for washrooms. He helped us in and out of the van and was especially thoughtful of one of us who was handicapped. I would highly recommend them. We also used them for a day trip to Victoria and were very pleased with the service we received. Our driver Andy was at our hotel ahead of departure time, discussed the day's itinerary with us, and provided valuable inputs for planning our day. I had an excellent experience with this service. I needed a car to the airport from Port Coquitlam. All the taxis in the area had too many negative reviews, and I'm always nervous about getting to the airport. I called Excel and everything was no problem. They send a confirmation email so I had proof I my hands that I would have a reliable ride. I was actually able to sleep even though I had to be up at 3am. The driver arrived early, had an umbrella for us, and was very nice. And the tip is included in the charge, so I didn't have to worry about finding the right cash in my wallet. Was referred to Howies limo service through a friend for our wedding in July 2015 and we were extremely pleased with the service provided. We had lots of changes to the itinerary and Howie was very accomendating even having to shuffle drivers and times around. Such amazing service they were the best. Being American we did not realize that our cruise was arriving in Vancouver on Canada Day Weekend and 150th made it even crazier. The cruise line told us the day before that ground transportation would be difficult to get with waits to 2-3 hours for a cab. With a senior adult with mobility issues, another adult with a sore back and a sick teenager in our party of 8 we were not looking forward to dealing with the craziness at the cruise terminal and downtown. A tour company referred us to Excel Limo and Howie. We were able to arrange everything via email from the cruise just the day before we needed it. We were picked up at the cruise terminal and after dropping off the sick folks at a hotel, were given a wonderful tour on the Sea to Sky road with a lunch stop for less than the large group would have paid for a bus tour around town. Because of the holiday I don't think we could have done any of this without the service dropping us off and picking us up at the sites along the way because there was not parking available. It was challenging for our driver to navigate downtown because of the parades and events but Excel didn't charge me for the extra time which was wonderful service. My family was so grateful to have gotten this planned it really saved the trip. This service was amazing!! read more
