I've heard Dr. Rho is great, but the administration he has chosen to represent him is embarrassing. To expand on this, give you a little more on the situation, and I do mean moron, here is a brief timeline of my dissatisfaction: 2/23/26: I call for initial visit. I am informed I need to have notes and reports faxed from my referring MD so I make the arrangements and the information is faxed 2/25/26. 2/26/26: I call to confirm they have received the necessary info and attempt to schedule an appointment. To my surprise, I was told that the ONLY person that knows how to check the fax was out of the office till the next week. I was as surprised as you are to hear that there was only one person in a professional office, in 2026, that knows how to check the fax so I asked the receptionist to clarify. It was true, I had to wait till the following week for the fax specialist to return so I could schedule. 3/3/26: After much ado and having my MD re-fax all necessary information I called in attempt to schedule. After it was confirmed that they had received the original fax of 2/25 I was connected with Debra. Debra confirmed that she was Dr. Rho's administrator and, in fact, the only person in the office that knew how to receive faxes. Again, I was as surprised as you are, but I felt confident I was dealing with someone of authority now. After dismissing my concerns with the receptionist's lack of professionalism and continually speaking over me she let me know they have 7-10 days from today, not the day that they received the information, to review it before they will schedule me. She confirmed they would call me. 3/20/26: I had waited 17 days, 13 business days, but had yet to hear back so I called again. Kathy dismissed my disappointment with the reoccurring lack of professionalism and became a bit contentious defending themselves. She was able to schedule me for the end of May. 3/23/26: Inland Interventional sends a fax to my MD stating they are unable to help me. When I talked to Debra she said that the MD had to review the notes before I could be scheduled. I gave them more than the 7-10 days that was necessary for said evaluation. on 3/20 Kathy had confirmed that I was ready to be scheduled and scheduled an appointment. What gives??? Not even the professional dignity to call to let me know. The brass tacks are this, I was dismissed and disregarded for a month while waiting for treatment for severe pain while I could have been waiting for a professional pain management clinic. I have an extensive health care background and appreciate how a clinic should be run, Debra and her staff are the opposite.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dr. Pak…read more My 93-year-old grandfather had a deeply upsetting experience with Dr. Pak. When I asked why he was treating my grandfather so poorly, he responded that he was "nervous and read the room wrong." He also argued with his Resident in front of us, abruptly changed the treatment plan, and demanded the Resident "present [research] now!" in an aggressive tone. As I left the appointment, Dr. Pak shouted at me to return, claiming I was "not hearing him right." His behavior felt unprofessional, jaded, and biased. In my view, he struggled to assess the situation or patient objectively. A telling moment came when the Resident followed me out and said, "I'm not sure why Dr. Pak was that way--maybe the moon alignment or something." Loma Linda should take these concerns seriously. I hope Dr. Pak receives training in respectful communication, especially under pressure, and learns to treat both patients and Residents with the dignity they deserve.

Generally, a provider cannot withhold your results simply because you haven't had a follow-up appointment. I've been called and reached at for follow up. I simply asked to be sent my results through email and they said yes and never did. Called again same results it was now 3 times. So I went in person and the girl at the front desk told me they are not allowed to give me MY results In person or email till I consulted them with a physician. I asked if that was an office policy? She said no and repeatedly told me they could not give me my results till I spoke to a doctor. She then asked me if I wanted a doctor appt over the phone for a $200 consultation for people without insurance and a follow up . I do not have insurance. I said no. This doctors office is wrong in every simple shape way and form. I will be submitting to HS OCR.
