Great service on all levels. They knew exactly what the issue is and what parts to get. They repaired it, tested it for a couple of days and then delivered it back. They didn't charge for the delivery back - they actually called and said they had some free time and would drop it off as a courtesy. I appreciated that because these big LEDs are unwieldy even in an SUV. The picture seemed a little off when I got it back and they came out and tweaked a setting, showed me what they did and it's PERFECT. I had an LG OLED screen that got fritzed during a storm when the power was going on and off. I didn't even think they repaired these any more. So glad I found Excell. Awesome customer service!! I found them on Google and canceled my Geek Squad appt with Best Buy. I'm so glad I did. I called/left a VM when they opened, got a call back in less than an hr and she scheduled me same day. They came out and looked at it and didn't have the part. Told me it would be 2 days for the part to come in or possibly 1 day. The very next day she called me back and said the TV was ready and they came back and mounted back good as new in just a little over 24 hrs!!! So I will probably come back and change the review as the repairs are on going. I feel really bad saying this because everyone is so nice that I have interacted with and getting parts has been a big issue too. I called them to repair my Sony TV as it wasn't turning on, it took me 2 or 3 times to reach them but they were very prompt. They came and got the tv when the part came in. They delivered it back. Again super nice and extremely professional. However this time the TV would not display 1080 p or 4K content. I'll put part of that on me as I assumed it worked when they delivered it and did not check it while they were there however I would think they would test it after they replaced it too. That being said it took me almost 2 weeks to get them on the phone. They came out and diagnosed it, 2 almost 3 weeks later still waiting on my tv to work properly. Because they are a local business and they were super nice, I tried to get them some warranty work for my LG tv but that is still pending as well as LG dropped ball. read more

Apart from these guys being so knowledgeable and patient, they are also so nice. Great customer service forsure!! My parents had been having issues with their 65" tv. Seemed like the images were starting to look super blue and it was actually starting to hurt our eyes. I called the shop, spoke to one of the technicians and right of the bat he knew what the problem was. They came down to pick up the tv but before that, they explained to my parents what the problem was and what the fix would be (btw they are bilingual which is ALWAYS a plus). The tv was ready the next day and it literally felt like we got a whole new tv. The image looks great now!! The rate we got for everything was also great. Very knowledgeable, responsive and professional. I lost the picture on a flat screen television and called Excell. They scheduled a pick-up, called with the diagnosis and estimate, performed the repairs and brought my television back home when promised and actually under the estimate. There was some slight confusion regarding the scheduled pick-up time but it was corrected quickly. Technicians were prompt and professional - removed flat screen from mounting in my home and returned it to mounting when repairs completed and hooked all cables, components back and tested in home before asking for payment. read more

Last night my Vizio Smart TV decides to show no picture but remains with sound. I bought TV a lil over two years ago so I was upset and was praying I did not have to go and buy another one. I called Excell this morning, they came to my home today and had tv fixed in a matter of minutes! (Main board was out). I am so sorry I forgot the lady name I spoke with but she kept me updated on time the technicians would arrive. She was very sweet and professional. They were out later that day and the problem diagnosed, but the part was a very specific part that needed to be ordered - they ordered it but due to circumstances, we had to leave town for several weeks. They held onto the part and weeks later when we called they were out late that day, got everything in and working. They were very responsive, friendly and capable. Had a very good experience with Excell TV! After about 8 years, my Samsung DLP needed a new bulb. I ordered and replaced the bulb myself without any issues (it was very easy). However, about 2 months later, I starting noticing black & white dots starting to appear on my screen (dead pixels). After a LOT of research, and a lot of searching / wading through repair shops & comments (most of which were poor at best), I stumbled upon Excell and decided to give them a shot. When I called, the lady who answered the phone new exactly what the issue (most likely) was, as it is common in DLP's as they age, it was a bad BOP chip. They usually get replaced at the same time the lamps go out, as a rule of thumb. So they ordered the part for me, called a few days later when it came in to set up the in-home appointment for the fix. They gave a half-hour window of when they would arrive, and actually showed up within that window!!! They were very professional, swapped out the chip, and now everything works like a charm. No hastles, no hidden charges, no "you really should do xyz service too, which we can do and charge ou for" kind of BS. Very straight forward repair by very nice people. I will call them first if I have any other issues with any of my electronics. 5 stars! It has been two weeks since the repair, and everything still looks great. Excel Tv repair came out, and of course were late. They repaired the tv. Within the 90 day warranty the tv devloped a noise coming from the part they replaced. Brought them back out because of defective part. They said they would have to order be on in a couple of days. I call a week later the part they tell me will take 2-3 weeks to come in. I call after that time frame and get the answering machine. No one calls me back. I call back 2 days later get answering machine. Again no one calls back. I call a day later and get lucky someone answers. "We were just going to call you" my part was in. We set up a time to come and repair my tv. 2 hours after they were to be there i call and get the answering machine. They never call their customers back. They never show up when they say. Their parts distributer must be on another planet for the parts to take 3 weeks to get. I still have not heard from them. They want me to tell them forget it so they don't have to honor the warranty. read more
