My first experience was great at the Hodgson location. So when my baby was wait listed I decided to enroll her at the Pooler location. I requested info on before care services in April prior to school starting cost, when is payment due etc, was also told during orientation that they would give it to me on first day of school, I was told that day that there is a $20 fee for food. My child does not have allergies, however there are foods she has never eaten since she started eating baby food, so I said she would be bringing her lunch, i was then told no outside food is allowed. So I asked will she be given an alternative option if you present her with something Ive told you she doesnt eat. I was told yes...my child was given white bread, some type of fruit and milk. Prisoners are eating better than my 4 year old. 2 weeks passed with me leaving message and emailing the site before I was stopped one morning on my way to work I was charged for 3 weeks plus food. Still no explanation of the fees, didn't know I had to pay for both before and after or what they call pre k wrap around although she does not use the after school service. The following week I was charged a "annual registration fee". This I don't understand the Georgia Pre k program is free, second she will not be there next year. Then finally I was informed that they are now going up and additional $20..so the free pre k program at childcare network is costing me around $200 a week. So not only am I paying for food she doesn't eat. I pay for both before and after care bc they don't separate the service, registration fee, oh and they don't pro-rate when they are closed for holidays or due to evacuation, or other weather related closures, of it they are closed due to teacher planning. You still have to pay for services you didn't receive. Now if I had received this paperwork prior to enrolling her, we would have looked elsewhere. I pay more here than I paid the entire summer with 2 kids in daycare. I would never recommend or use their services again. Very unorganized and costly.
