After providing all the information, I thought she was going to give me an appointment, but rather, she told me the local technician would contact me for the appointment. It is now more than 24 hours later and NO CALL. I opted to call a local plumber who immediately gave me an appointment to get my toilet fixed. Why is it so difficult these days to get a promised call back? I would not waste your time with Mr Rooter!! They obviously don't need your business!!

It took him a couple of hours and he is not a plumber. It was supposed to be a simple replacement. Well, it didn't turn out that way. One fellow came out and replaced the pump with the required check valve and no water flowed. Must be faulty pump. My husband asked if perhaps the check valve was installed backwards or incorrectly. "No way" he said. This new pump must be defective. Next, a couple more guys appeared. It must be our existing piping. Said piping has been in place for many years and was working very well when it rained a week or so prior this. So now they dig up the existing pipe. Bottom line is the company billed us an excessive amount. What should have been a simple one-man job turned into a 10 hour fiasco. So the next time you need plumbing work, call your local plumber, not Roto-Rooter.

He diagnosed the leak to be coming from the shower pan. As a result, we paid him roughly $11k to completely redo the shower and also remove the shower block windows that appeared to be a secondary leak source discovered after. As we were dealing with the issue remotely, he sent plenty of progress photos and cleaned up after the project well. The problem initially seemed fixed. Unfortunately, the identical leak started again within a year, and we scheduled a date for him to check on the shower but he never made it. We rescheduled for another date but he also failed to show up for that and has ignored our messages to remediate the issue. The problem was either misdiagnosed or incorrectly remediated. Either way, we will have to find another contractor to fix what Albert didn't. Two stars rather than one as he was very pleasant and responsive during the initial project.

It was clear from the beginning that they were not sure of what they were doing so I started my stop watch. After 28 minutes I came into the kitchen and they were gone. More than an hour later they showed up back up and 20 minutes later they were done. I get the bill and I call to ask how many hours did they bill me The billed me for3 hours. When I initially explained what happened the person said that both were no longer with the company so she couldn't ask them. When I told her that I have cameras at my house and they were welcome to review them she then said, yes I see where there went to Home Depot for a part and it's at least an hour to/from there. It's exactly 7.4 miles from my door and just because she said they went to Home Depot I have no idea if they did or din't. I also said that it doesn't take 3 hours to change a garage disposal and that should have been a red flag on the bill. They could have gone to another job. She said they would discount the bill $50 but charging me for 3 hours when they were her less than an hour was more than fair because they normally charge $150 an hour. She said it was industry practice to charge the customer for time away from the job. If this is how they operate, they are deceptive and engage in deceptive practices with inexperienced technicians. Just Look at the other reviews. Don't use them.

We received an invoice on 2/14 with a 3 sentence report. The plumber spent 30 minutes on property, charged us for 2 hours and the company didn't send an itemized invoice to show us where the extra cost came from. When we called, the woman shut down our questions with "it's industry practice, you pay for mileage from prior home to yours". Fine, but there is no way customers should be responsible for an hour and a half driving when the office is 18 minutes from the residence. Not only did they not get us detailed reports prior to the end of due diligence, but they over charged and didn't send an itemized report. We will not be recommending them to any of our friends.
