I've never gone wrong with purchasing a gift here and I definitely will come back. They even have a punch card for loyalty which is amazing. Parking is a little tough since it's right on Monroe Center and street parking but I haven't had a big issue. I'm a huge fan overall and encourage people to stop in if they haven't!

I especially adored the staff recommendations. They don't just point you toward the next comic -- they link you to stories and media across genres (seriously, the "if you like Heated Rivalry, you might love..." picks are brilliant), making discovering new reads feel like a friendly conversation with someone who really gets you. Whether you're a regular or just popping in out of curiosity (like me), this is the kind of shop that makes you want to linger -- and definitely come back.

He has been giving my son the runaround ever since. Please keep in mind that my son is ELEVEN YEARS OLD. The guy sold his cards on Ebay, keeping 30% for himself, leaving my son with $45 coming back to him. After 2 weeks of my son asking for his money (and he was making his OWN phone calls to this man - not relying on us to do it for him), he finally told my son that he could come get his payment. Well, 2 1/2 weeks ago, I took him there after work and the guy gave him $20 and said, "sorry, I'll have to get the rest to you". He came out to the car and told me, so I went in and told him that was not acceptable. He said he didn't have the rest of the money (well, where did it go???), and that he would mail my son a check. A week passed, with my son asking every day if his check came. No check. So, last Thursday I called him again and got a story that he had been out of town and forgot his checkbook, and that he'd mail it in a day or 2. Again, a week passed, so I went in there. My older son and I walked in there tonight and stood, patiently waiting while he was about to help a customer. (My son was with his dad at the time). The guy, right in front of everyone there, said he felt like I was treating him like a criminal and that I'm HARASSING him. At first I laughed because I thought he was kidding. Then he said, "no, for real". And then went on about how I have a horrible attitude about all of this and that he is just not sending my son his money because we keep asking for it. I stayed very calm and just said SIR. You took money from an 11 year old BOY. You sold something with the understanding that you would keep your portion, not keep your portion AND his. I have not done anything wrong here. He stood his ground for a few minutes, claiming he didn't have the money. I said that I live a half hour away and this is now the 4th time I've had to come in regarding this, and that I'm done. (Not to mention that as we were walking in, a guy was walking out with comic books in hand -- no money?). I said I would not be coming back and that my son will NOT be a customer of his again, and that I can't believe he would treat his customers like this. I can't believe this person yelled at me and was trying to make his other customers think I was some crazy person with the looks and gestures he was making. I'm sure he's just trying to look "cool" in front of his friends, but seriously. We're talking about a GROWN MAN trying to take advantage of a little boy. This is called being a bully. In the end, he still owed my son $25. I managed to get $20 out of him. As he handed it to me, I politely said "thank you. That was all we wanted. Merry Christmas." I will NOT be returning, and I suggest if you know of this place, that you do not either. As a matter of fact, when he was on the phone when we were coming in, he was telling someone else that he couldn't get their money to them till next week. What kind of business is this? He should be ashamed of himself. I'll make the $5 difference up to my son myself. Lord have mercy.

If you bring in their flyer you receive $2 off your purchase which is a great way to get people in the door. They not only sell all the nerdy things, but you can sell to them as well. The walls of Rabbit Hole Comics are lined with beautiful posters and most of them are for sale (a few aren't but they don't have prices on them so that should have been my clue before asking). They also have a large selection of action figures, stuffed animals, movies on dvd as well as VHS, toys, kids books that sorta teeter on being comics (like Captain Underpants or Dog Man), and trading cards. As far as the Comics go, I feel like I could have sifted through the box's for at least two hours. I loved being able to look around and enjou myself on a day like today. My husband did end up not only selling some items to the shop but also ended up picking some stuff up in a "instead of cash, I want this item for what I sold" type of deal. I can see us coming back to this store frequently, even if I am only tagging along to say hello to the two adorable puppers in the store.

We came in to look at MTG cards and dice mostly, but we found so very much more. They have all the fixings to start you on a d&d adventure including dice, books and figurines. They have cards upon cards for magic the gathering along with the binders, card covers and card boxs. Love comics? They have those too! Best part? You can order things from their site to get sent to your home or the store and it even has a wishlist feature so they can let you know when they get something in stock! My husband was giddy- "Ace, look! I can shop from my computer!" So, if you have a nerdy significant other, stop into the store or check out their online shop to give your love an amazing gift, maybe a Valentine's gift. Hopefully you'll love it as much as my husband and I did.
