You will never find a more knowledgeable staff and player base than the one at Far Harbor. They all actually play the games that the store sells, rather than other "game stores" that just sell product but don't know anything about the game at all. They offer a great discount on most items, and also host a TON of community events like tournaments, demo days, and even hobby days. I have a couple issues with this - first of all, the big LEGO sets (1,000+ pieces) that I want to do are so expensive if you buy them new. I'm talking like $300+. The other issue I have is that I don't necessarily want or need to have multiple LEGO sets in my house, either completed or in pieces. I don't have the time or interest to create my own builds using various pieces. So, I started to do some looking around for some local spots that might be useful and found DNA Brix. Nate and I went to check it out recently and did end up buying a new set there. They also have used sets and loose LEGO pieces that you can buy by the bag. You can sell your LEGO sets and/or pieces or get store credit for them too. The employee working was really nice and explained some things about how they work and mentioned that they would have some new sets in the next couple weeks since they just bought a ton of LEGO from someone recently. I imagine it takes a bit of time for them to sort through and categorize everything! I even noticed a sign that indicated they were hiring at-home sorters and counters. I think ultimately what would be best for me is a rental program where I could rent a set, put it together, and then return it. I don't think anything like this exists locally, but I did find an online business for this. In the meantime, I've already started the NYC Architecture kit we got at DNA Brix and have been having a blast. If you're in to LEGO or want to sell some, definitely check them out.

Booths on main floor are the best, the basement is okay, but not as good. If you go on a weekend, be prepared, the parking lot gets filled up. Maybe call ahead for advice on where to park if it's full. We went on a Saturday around 11-11:30 the last time we were there, and squeezed diagonally between two cars, making our own spot, and it was the last place. They may have other parking - worth a call to ask. Definitely worth a stop!

This flea market is amazing. It is massive with so many sellers of pretty much anything you could…read moreanticipate. There is produce, bulk candies, confections, a boot store, a shoe store, so many clothing and jewelry options in addition to vintage and handmade items. There are a lot of seasonal vendors there as well as new comers regularly. Some massive shops and some with a table and canopy. The atmosphere is always friendly people, both sellers and shoppers. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. We just finished our second weekend of selling, going back for the 3 day weekend for 4th of July and while I'm exhausted I am excited. Camping is on your site for the most part/ in your vehicle and there are air conditioned restrooms open 24h. Being able to come on Friday without extra charge is valuable if you are not seasonal, giving extra time to be organized without pressing yourself so much in the morning. Cathy's Kitchen has great coffee and breakfast, I've not had their lunch and they are not open for dinner. Everyone in there is so friendly. Free parking and admission make this a great value and must stop for shoppers and no one should be disappointed in doing so. Many people bring their dogs, of all sizes and breeds, some in strollers. They also have puppies for sale/ to adopt, though I'm not the biggest fan of that especially in the heat. There's a country market across the street (not affiliated) with a nice variety of offerings to accommodate your stay as well. Put Reits on your list if you haven't been yet, just bring your sunbrella, sunscreen and water for you and your pet if you bring them. Hope to see you there!

They also followed us out after and said very sarcastically "well at least you got to take a dump" then proceeded to lecture us saying that my family member didn't leave the fan on or spray fragrance. My family member has IBS and was very embarrassed. The owner then replied to a previous review that a friend of theirs got robbed a year back and he tried to say we were trying to do the same to him. We just wanted to see your store of overpriced crap and you basically made us leave because of your preconceived prejudice. Get a camera if you're so scared of someone stealing. Also grow up and understand you have a street store that is open to the public. It is not illegal for us to just look around old man.... Read through the reviews and you will see this isn't the first time he has treated his customers like this.

Walking in, there's tons of flowers, plants and trees to choose from. Organized by color, along with annuals or perennials, this place literally has it all. My favorite part? the Volkswagen Bug in the middle of the store stuffed with flowers. I loved it! Prices here are a bit steep, but all their plants seem to be extremely healthy and they even have Proven Winners brand, which is excellent. Pots are stocked here, some designer, some standard terra cotta. Staff's knowledgeable and friendly as well. Bathrooms are at the front of the store and in great clean shape.
