Chantal was very welcoming and friendly. And most importantly she knew exactly what I needed to relieve tension from my back, shoulders, and neck. Chantal is very knowledgeable and super passionate about what she does and is one of the best RMTs I've dealt with. Her massage techniques and strength applied is exactly the type I prefer and I would definitely go back. She also has a great sense of humor, and is a very down to earth practitioner. I had a Tuesday 7:30 - 8:30 pm session with Chantal during COVID times and as much as I dislike scheduling this late (partially for my own selfish reason as well...RMTs are very tired at the end of the day, much less energetic...etc), it was the only time I could make due to work and I just had to book it because of my neck pain. During our initial conversation, I was not surprised when I found out she had a tiring day but the quality of the massage did not suffer at all, if not better compared to other RMTs I've dealt in the past. Her willingness to piece things together about my work set up, what I do...etc and get to know me better to understand the root cause of my issue at this time of the day just goes to show how truly passionate she is about what she does. Chantal is amazing. Her ability to read your body and re-align whatever is wrong about is unreal. Any question you have, she'll explain in detail and theory behind it. Not only you leave the session feeling better, but you also understand what the underlying issue is and what to do to avoid it. I've tried few other places and while the massage may feel great, no other places fixes your problems like she is able to. For such a petite person, she is able to generate surprising amount of pressure if that is what you need; and this is coming from a large male that needs quite a bit of pressure to feel the massage. I have seen many RMT's over the years and I can honestly say that Chantal is by far the best RMT I have ever been too. She is friendly, kind and passionite about massage therapy profession. I generally like deep tissue massage and Chantal definitely delivers. She gets all my major knots out and alleviats my chronic aches and pains every treatment. She is very intuitive as to how much pressure I can handle and always checks in with me to ensure I am ok. She genuinely cares about my health and has an extensive undesrtanding on how the body and muscles work since in addition to Massage Therapy program she also holds a degree in Kinisiology. Found Chantal via Google search for an RMT in the Yonge/Eglinton area. Very strong physically, should you need a good deep tissue treatment, asks how she is doing throughout the massage, and whether the intensity is good for you. Chantal makes you feel comfortable, is professional, can hold a conversation if you're feeling chatty or not. At the end of the session she provides you with tips for in-between sessions to keep you feeling as limber as possible. Highly recommended! read more

Chantal clearly knows what she's doing! She is an expert with sports injuries and I'm sure some of that comes from her being a fitness competitor herself. I came in for an emergency deep tissue massage for my shoulders, which had been incurably sore for 3 days - and I felt back to 100% within an hour of the massage! This almost never happens for me. I am very sensitive and usually find that sports massage therapists use way too much pressure and leave me feeling even more sore. Chantal used just the right amount of pressure and even used some of the successful techniques I've had in physiotherapy. She listened to me and did everything I wanted and avoided the things I said I didn't want. As an added bonus, she uses an arnica-based gel - which helps reduce inflammation at the site (she explained this would help me walk away with less pain - and it did) - and it did not make my skin feel greasy or oily, nor did it get into my hair. I have had sports injuries since my early twenties and I decided to try a massage therapist because physio was only getting thus far in pain management. When I went to Chantal in the first session she gave me exercises to do outside of what I was already doing for hip and back pain and in three days the back pain went away. She has helped me with pain management because I started going to her once a week and now I am only doing maintenance of once a month. Marie Itteraman from Chantal Milot RMT & Associates is amazing! She's got a good deal of knowledge around how to treat sporty people, specially runners. She helped me lot by treating my low back and hip problems due to tight and messy hamstrings/quads; which in turn are the side effects of lots of running a lots for sitting down in a office. read more

Chantal is definitely one of the best therapist I've ever had! Found her on Yelp and thought of giving it a try since her clinic is really close to me! Came in with my tight shoulder this morning and felt absolutely relieved when I leave. It did hurt quite a bit for me, on-and-off but it didn't bother me too much and it actually felt good. She was very caring too, she kept checking in with me and see if the pressure was ok and made sure I was prepared if she had to put more pressure on my body, I.e. I have been going to Chantal for a few years now and she is always great at identifying the areas that need attention for healing. Recently, while she was away, I was attended to by Marie. Marie has a very different touch but just as good in addressing the problem areas that need attention. A recent Achilles injury had sidelined me from being active in sports. Wow! What a bad experience! I booked an appointment using their online scheduler, received a confirmation, and filled out the associated health form. When I showed up for my appointment the owner was at reception and told me that my masseuse was not there yet so I could wait "or whatever." Rather than apologize for the inconvenience or try to solve the issue for me, she spent five minutes deflecting blame and saying that it's the technology's fault not hers. Eventually I gave up and left. Any contrition would have left me disappointed but understanding. Her refusal to apologize and her dismissiveness of my time show me that this is not a business worth visiting. read more
