This is my go-to place for my monthly massages because I absolutely love it!…read more I am someone who works a desk job, do not take as many breaks as I should, and some days I feel like I'm carrying all the world's problems. This brings me to why I max out on my massage benefits every year. Aches Away is great especially for their No Frills massages. I can appreciate a relaxing massage with essential oils and spa-type flair, but after about 30 mins I'm a bit bored. The No Frills massage is just that - go in and cater to your needs. Amy is my go-to RMT. I have tried their RMTs, but Amy is brilliant for me because she provides deep-tissue massage and hits pressure points. If I am honest, it hurt quite a lot in the beginning but in the best way. I felt renewed after. Since it is downtown, I typically walk or bike because parking can be a pain. The building is right outside of College station, which is quite convenient.

I had my daughter go here for a sports massage to help get some knots out. The time was spent…read moreshowing her some posture techniques and he even had her record 8 minutes of him teaching her to stretch. What a waste of time and money.

I wouldn't recommend massage here if you're suffering from any sort of injury as the therapists…read moredon't seem particularly experienced in that area. My regular massage therapist had to cancel last minute and since I was in so much pain I booked a last minute massage here. I told the massage therapist that I had really aggravated my post concussion symptoms, so she thought a good idea would be applying pressure to the middle of my head and massaging that area. Not a good idea as it caused much further aggravation. I told my chiropractor, regular massage therapist, and family doctor what happened, and they were just absolutely baffled why a therapist would do that to a post concussion syndrome client and confirmed that this has what led to a major setback for me. I informed the office of what happened but no response. I'm sure this place is OK for relaxation massages but don't make the same mistake I did and come here for more serious muscular and nerve issues.

They know what they're doing! I've come here quite a few things for registered massage therapy,…read moreand they don't skimp on the pressure or the quality of their service. I've been treated by multiple RMTs and they're all very good and professional. I come here to address athletics related issues rather than for relaxing, indulgent massages, though I'm sure many clients come here for that too. The rooms are quiet, simple and peaceful (some nice washrooms there too!). Sign up for their last minute club if you think you'll be a repeat client as subscribers are notified via email about last minute appointment availabilities. If you take advantage of those times, you may also receive $10 or more credits to use at another appointment.
