My husband had abdominal pain so we came here late on a Saturday night. There was no wait and the staff could not have been nicer. We got a CAT scan and other tests. There was a slight delay when a police situation with a disruptive patient came in, but otherwise efficient. We were home with meds within 3 hours. It's a new facility so very clean and comfortable. Went April 13, 2026, early morning. Looked closed. My husband went to check because I'm wheelchair bound. It was open but not busy. Got in right away. No wait. They saw me right away. Saw 3 nurses and then a doctor all in the first 10 minutes. Gave me meds.and sent in a prescription that I received same day. Was so comfortable with surrounding and people. Even gave me a call about 4 days later to see how I was doing! No ER has ever done that or has gotten me in so quickly. I was dreading going in, but I was in pain. The only thing exceptional about this emergency department is how exceptionally bad of an experience it was. The pros were a clean environment and short wait time. Unfortunately, a quick wait time does not make up for inappropriate medical care. I did not realize until after the visit that the ED is not staffed by Emergency Medicine trained physicians, which may be part of the problem. The doctor noted that he was uncomfortable providing care to pregnant patients, gave a second line medication in the ED setting, and then confidently stated the 1st line medications recommended by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) are unsafe in pregnancy, should not be prescribed, and should not be taken. While I disagree that someone who is uncomfortable treating a whole population of patients should practice in an ED setting, confidently and wrongly telling patients that medications that may be prescribed by someone who is actually trained to take care of those patients are unsafe is even more egregious. read more

We were from out of town and my brother needed to be seen. I have been a nurse for over 30 years at a highly respected hospital system. I was very impressed with the care and treatment provided to my brother. Everyone knew what they were doing, were kind, attentive, and professional. Drove 15 miles out of my way, to bring my mom here, as she's been having severe breathing/wheezing issues. Giving it a 2 stars for the simple fact that it was quick, aside from that, I will never visit this hospital again, and will never recommend it. They didn't take my mom's issues serious and made her feel like she wasn't worth them digging deeper to see what could be wrong with her.. did the basics (covid/flu/pneumonia) and because it was none of those, they basically sent her on her way and told her to see her PCP. She wouldn't have come to the ER if she didn't feel like it was an EMERGENCY! The lack of care and compassion from the dr she seen was crazy.. this has gotta be the worst hospital we've had to visit, in recent years. Yeah the wait time is almost nonexistent but we would've waited had they taken her serious and actually tried to look into her issue more. Came to this place Sunday night, tonight Monday will be taking her to a different ER, as her breathing issue is an emergency and needs to be treated as such. read more
