By the end I was being looked at like I was garbage. Maybe they didn't my disability from my time in the Marine Corps. Maybe they didn't like my disheveled look on a Friday afternoon (I'm an attorney and own a firm, I wear a suit everyday so when Friday afternoon comes around and I leave work I could care less on the way home). What was even more awkward was what all the other employees started saying "do you need help" do you need this " as if I was a Ticking time bomb. I say to him I go back home , grab the wire, come back . I go to see which fits and he coughs STRAIGHT IN MY FACE. No excuse me , no sorry , nothing . He tells me to get the specific wire crimp, and charges me 4 dollars (no shocker that he charged me an extra dollar now) I almost never leave reviews , because honestly , who cares , it was 4 bucks . I was a little nervous at first since I'm not super experienced with kayaking, but the guides were patient and gave clear instructions before we got on the water. Once we started, it felt calm and surprisingly peaceful. We even spotted birds and fish along the way, which I definitely didn't expect in Los Angeles. If you look that up or really want to raft, take a drive up to Northern California for some excitement- you are able to do Class III, Class IV, or Class V, including an overnight rafting trip. It's not exactly like "A River Wild," but it can be if you're not experienced. I grew up river rafting with my Daddy all the time and have been on more than 300 trips in my lifetime. It's one of my favorite activities, but it's boring and lame in SoCal.

They are fast and call you normally, within a few days maybe even less to pick-up. Their demo program is good. You can demo 1-2 rackets for a week then switch out. If you need a little more time with the rackets, phone in. They are pretty nice about it if you just communicate. I would rate 5 but the reason I put 4 stars is the "hits" and "misses" when I visit, particularly about the customer service and their general inventory. I've had top-class service from Beau previously, and a woman (I forget her name :( but she classifies herself as a hard hitter, heavy racket, and top spin player ha! She showed me how to determine if a racket is engineered to be power or precision rackets just by feeling and looking. They knew their stuff. The misses were when I came in and was offered help separate times, but I was offered not so great recommendations/ recs that were not what I needed, didn't mention some hint of knowledge that they understand different racket and string specs... average customer service of "yea, look around and see what you like. What you see is what we have" Thumbs down. This goes for the shoe section too. Now with their merch, they carry the popular stuff that sells but you can't get a racket in a particular color, underrated racquets, color shoes etc .
