Upon entering this shop for the first time I couldn't help but come under the spell of a very chill vibe. A lot of times a skate shop can seem like a cacophony of chaos. It's a small business in a vibrantly walking centric neighborhood. The parking most likely is going to put you to work a little bit. The price points are reasonable and they have a host of unique gear that is craft small batch so you can be or whoever you're gifting can be cooler than the other side of the pillow. They have an Instagram presence to keep you updated with the 411. Super dope little store. Worth the drive indeed.

I came in for some bushings that I couldn't find anywhere, but my wife ended up seeing a board she liked and ended up wanting to build her first complete. Ronnie helped us with choosing the right parts, giving great advice for future upgrades, The guys were super patient and encouraging, which is great for first time buyers. The price for everything were all fair markt value or better. However, since we got our complete, they even hooked us up with some parts and saved us on some expenses. Highly recommend coming here! After looking all over LA. I found only 2 skate shops worth taking the time out of your day to check out as LA can be very intimidating with traffic and time. But out of all kingswell was my fav and most impressive. Not only was the board selection CRAZY! But they also have great selection of shoes which I ended up picking dunks. I loved the shirts and hats a lot but in my opinion the pants selection is what stood out in my eyes. I wish I had more money to buy more but the pant selection is 2nd to none. Last but not least I was in the shop and Rony must've just clocked in when I seen him ride in to work on his board but as soon as he got there, he helped me try on a helmet that didn't fit my huge head and he helped me find the dunks I never thought I would buy. He took the time to go across the street to storage to find my size just for me. Overall this shop was amazing and when I come back it'll be to kingswell only, all thanks to Rony. Definitely recommend adding Kingswell skate shop to your visit if you really want a positive skate shop experience! read more

Loved coming here as a kid growing up, every time I needed some fly to wear to school or just an occasion they had what I needed. Sadly I moved out of the area and come here seldomly. Best skate shop in Los Angeles. The owners are welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredible skaters. They sell great skateboard decks, hard goods, skateboard shoes, and skate clothes. They sell their own merchandise that includes super soft shirts. The staff is an awesome collective of unique skaters who are always down to provide recommendations and talk skate. Kingswell has been my go to shop for years for boards, clothes, shoes and even tattoos. Despite being one of the best skate shops in the country there are no egos or attitudes, the staff are always friendly and helpful. They even have totally reasonable prices that you wouldn't expect from a shop in a cool neighborhood in LA. Recommended! read more

Established in 2013.

KINGSWELL is located at 4651 Kingswell Ave in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Walt Disney started his first cartoon studio right here at 4651 Kingswell ave in 1923. Kingswell is an upstart business with partners from the professional skateboarding world, the fine art world, the tattoo world, and the film and video industry. The intersecting of this eclectic mix of talents and styles culminates within the walls of this rare cultural hub.

Save your money and go somewhere that actually knows how to repair bikes and treat customers properly.

He broke my chain guard. While he try to tell me that it was already broken. I told him no I walked here and I would know if it was broken. I brought an electric bike so I wish he knew if he worked with them first. But he said to come back next week and he will replace the chain guard. I came back and I called him the day before and he said to come. So I came the next day and I had to wait 30 mins and them he didn't have the part and he took the part of another bike that wasn't the same brand. I will never come back to this place. Bad customer service and there is no integrity here. The Light_skin_dragon will find a better bike shop that gives you way better service

These guys have some of the best customer service I have ever encountered. I had a question for the team while I had horrible service at the lake on Memorial Day weekend and they promptly emailed me back allowing me to call the shop number. Which then they helped me find a product I was searching for. one that I really wanted at that!! So kudos to these guys. Had the pleasure of Visiting KINGSWELL yesterday to buy a new skateboard after i heard about a new store in los feliz. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very well thought out space, the shop is just gorgeous with great products and even greater staff! The manager, i think he was called DJ was very friendly and defiantly knew his stuff about skateboarding. The shop also carries a wide selection of clothing brands and shoes such as HUF and Converse as well as carrying jewelery ,sunglasses, Art and electronics. Went to the Grand Opening party of Kingswell a few nights ago. Holy crap, these guys know how to throw a party. Saw countless skateboard pros and industry people. Amazing space. Went in the next day and saw it in a fully functioning skateshop. These dudes seriously know their shit. The selection of brands and boards are perfect, not your average skateshop. Love it! It is a very cool skate shop that even carries their own unique KINGSWELL line of Mickey Tees. This pays homage to the fact that KINGSWELL was the location of Walt Disney's First Studio from 1923-1926. Plus, everyone here is chill and helpful. read more

Great selection and multiple sizes in everything. A lot of different brands to choose from. Staff is knowledgeable on ongoing promos and also generally friendly/easy to talk to. Em helped a ton, we left with good stuff & lollipops :) read more
