I came in frustrated and exhausted (straight off a midnight shift), explaining that my recently installed Rockford Fosgate amp had completely failed after riding in a rainstorm--despite the system and bike being fully marine-grade. The Soundwaves team didn't hesitate. They had me pull in, listened to the whole situation, and got to work--no attitude, no "inspection fees," no nonsense. What they found was unacceptable: * The amp was missing a protective plate cover that clearly had never been installed (based on rusted screw holes). * Bare wires were exposed and tucked behind the amp. * The previous installer cut corners--and Soundwaves cleaned it up, on the spot, because that's just how they operate. They even explained everything in detail and gave me documentation to take back to the original installer (who still found a way to be unhelpful, shocker). Bottom line: Soundwaves turned a frustrating situation into a relief. They treated me like a person, not a problem. They were honest, skilled, and most of all--professional. If you're looking for audio experts who actually care about quality and customer experience, skip the chain stores and go straight to Soundwaves. These guys earned my future business without question.

You are most likely to have success walking in and asking for service as they don't answer their phone, but not if the salesman is busy. I was given a fuse box much too high in amperage for my equipment (The equipment will be fried long before the fuse box reaches its limit) The amplifier was, on both installations, grounded on a painted surface. If you know anything about electricity you can't/should not ground a wire to a nonconductive surface like paint... another danger to my equipment. Otherwise, they do a pretty good job. Could work on the professionalism, as I could see some people having a problem with the installation guy smoking a blunt while hooking up some wires in your trunk. Didn't bother me too much

While within the warranty period, 2 of 5 windows started bubbling really bad so I dug up the warranty receipt to claim a warranty repair. I brought the car back and pointed out the windows with bubbles, but also the ones that still had an outstanding tint. Guy started giving me the run around. Something about their billing system being new and they can't find me. He told me I needed more proof on top of the warranty receipt, oh and by the way it would cost extra to remove the bubbling tint, a lot extra...I kindly left and didn't go back.

Dude talked for literally over a hour before he got started. He installed the subs and tied them into the door speakers (instead of running RCA's up to the radio. I found out about it when I got TV installed buy another company. Once I ran my plugs to the radio I received another level of entertainment from my speakers. If I was you I would go to Dukes or Bestbuy. Yeah you may have to schedule it out in advance or wait, but at least you'll get the full performance out of your speakers or system. I didn't wanna believe the reviews but this dude is super unprofessional. Wanna stand there all day & tell stories while keeping you there all day and customers waiting for service. Don't waist your time or money.
