Don't be fooled they installed a rear camera in my car .. camera stop working the guy behind the counter said it was my radio the radio didn't change it worked fine I said no it wasn't after a little argument the technician comes out of the back says it's the camera and the guy tells me to wrap the camera up in plastic when I wash it or when it rains and now the camera don't work again they're idiots..and they scratched my dash.. and now I have to enter a star just to post this review read more

Took my moms Ford Fusion in to get a new radio after her stock one was broken and Bryan was amazing helped me out big time. Was first told they wouldn't be able to fit me in same day until I talked to Bryan and told him the situation he then asked me to call around 3. When I did he told me to bring it in. I recently had front and rear speakers (including tweeters) and a four-channel amp installed in my vehicle. The staff was very friendly during the initial inspection and price quote. When I picked my car up after installation I had found the installation had been top-notch! My car sounds AWESOME now and they utilized the factory mounting locations for everything so you would never now anything is aftermarket....until you listened to it! It sounds great. The installation was lengthy, 4 hours, but you cannot rush quality workmanship and the end result is a quality, seamless installation. read more

Awful! My boyfriend got me a remote starter for my car for Christmas. He purchased this in early December but did not get an appointment until at least February. Once the install was complete, I noticed issues immediately. I called the place and requested they look at it for me. They said I could bring it in a few days later on a Thursday. I explained that I work during the week and I could only bring it in on a Saturday and they basically said, "Too bad." My boyfriend called them and they finally agreed to see my vehicle on the weekend. Once we went back, the counter guy was very nice (I'll give them that). But I had to leave my car again ALL DAY only to pick it up and notice a day or two later the install still was incorrect. My "Door Ajar" light kept coming on, the vehicle would shut off for no reason, etc. The long and the short of this is: I had to take my car back not once, not twice, but 4 times to get them to fix it. And it still shuts off after 10 minutes when they told me it's supposed to be 20 min. I just said forget it. I will not go back there EVER! I will say this though, two of the counter workers were very nice and apologetic which made me not so angry. I understand things can happen but c'mon..........they install these things everyday. So, why the trouble?! No way I will go there for anything ever again. read more

I was a firm believer in car tunes but they have lost my business. I got a 2 way remote start installed ($375.00) in my Car at Xmas time. I have been back twice and still does not work right. Just a shame cause I remmeber when this actually was a reputable store. Now it's all about how many cars a day they can get through. My vehicle is brand new and this sucks. Got my stereo, amp, and subwoofer installed and purchased there for a really good price. The guys were awesome and cool. When my subwoofer was acting up after my warranty expires I went back and they fixed the problem in minutes and didn't charge me anything. I bought a remote start at Christmas for my daughter as a surprise. They were so nice. They worked with me around her schedule so she didn't know I had her car. They got the car in and out before she got off work, they even drove me home and picked me up so I didn't have to sit there. She has had the remote a year now with no issues and she loves it. I was back again yesterday as my factory installed remote broke down and the dealer wants more than a new one to repair it. Again, the counter guys were so pleasant and helpful. I have to wait for Thursday for it to be installed but again they offered to take me home or to work while it was being done. read more

I Was so happy when I went in and still received great service and help bringing my 2003 ram truck up to date with stereo,alarm and keyless entry and start on a diesel which I didn't know existed I waited a month to do this review to make sure everything worked right and it has. My classic cadillac and its original radio is nearly 50 years old. From the moment I walked into the shop, Brian and Tom took personal care - made the initial assessments and handed the overhaul of my Delco radio to their vintage radio pro John Cooper. Matt was the pro at dismounting and reinstallation - and as anyone with a classic vehicle knows, there are countless dangers in poking into vintage wiring systems not to mention the risks in removing old dashboard components (so easily broken/irreplaceable parts etc.) Matt first took pics of each stage of dismount as well as worked as a team with John to ensure the re-installation wiring was correct. In sum, I can strongly recommend anyone with a classic vehicle or for that matter all of us who have a special attachment to our vehicles to visit Car Tunes. Visited Car Tunes in Allen Park today just to get a power wire run for a Ham radio transceiver. As I would usually do this job myself in my other cars over the years I was apprehensive about how they would do this simple job. Well they did it far better than I and I am pretty good! Well then I asked about something I have needed in my 2001 Ford van for years, a new radio to pick up Sirius, a Bluetooth hookup and and aux phone plug for my other radio equipment. So Tom the store manager said let me show you some models. Oh they were nice easy to use and more than affordable. I called my wife and she said get it but I was still reluctant as I thought how long will this take and there is no way they could do it today? Tom said sure we can in about 45 minutes! Well he did it in less time than that but enough for me to look at the other neat stuff Car Tunes had so I can come back to buy more. What a great place and Tom Koehler and his crew were friendly, smart and do quality work. Oh the new radio had more in it than I expected so I cannot wait to start using it. I said to Tom I would read the manual but Tom said please call me or come in any time and I will go over it with you as sometimes it is easier that way. By the way as I was going out the door Tom gave me a card which said 3+3 Guarantee. Tom said we give you a three year parts and labor warranty plus three year theft protection!! The only thing I thought I would lose in this deal is the cassette player in the old radio. Tom said your old radio is on the floor of your van so I still have it!
