I should have taken that as a sign to take my business elsewhere. But foolish me I called them and placed my order over the phone. When the proofs were emailed to me there were several changes needed. I emailed the changes, removed printed envelopes (which they still charged me for) and approved the proofs. Later I realized I mispelled a word and asked for that to be corrected.I was told I needed to respond quickly to the proof, as this invitation was being discontinued. I was sent another proof, which I approved. I received the invitations the next day. Fast right! Well the was an extra word on the invitations that was not on the proof I approved. I emailed the proof department to complain and received a call that day. I was told my fiancé had verbally made the change on the phone. When? I don't believe this happened. If your process is all changes have to be approved via an emailed proof, how was a verbal change allowed. And why was I charged for printed envelopes which I removed from the order and did not receive. I was told my issue was being escalated to customer service, but never heard back from them. I emailed the proof department again 6 days later, no response. I called and was told I was out of luck. They could not and would not do anything. I could order additional invitations. If you don't feel like reading my entire entry, in short, these invitations are going to take WAY longer to get to you than the website tells you when you place your order, so be very careful if you are on a deadline. Since placing the order, I'm finding that the company doesn't follow through with their commitments for order time frame. I placed my order on Sunday night 7/22 fully expecting the order to be in the companies system by Monday. I still do not have an explanation for why the order history gives two time frames or why when you place the order it tells you a different time frame. This same representative from Tuesday-Jackie-who now claims that he is a supervisor and also the only supervisor I can talk to says that the time frame I received before ordering was an estimated time frame. I asked why doesn't it say that, and he said well it does not say guaranteed time frame. I tried to suggest that this is misleading and confusing to the average consumer, and he honestly became very frustrated and nervous and raised his voice at me while refusing to do anything to fix the situation. My order will not ship and we are at 10 business days today 8/3. He also told me that that the first business day doesn't count, and that they don't count days the same way as we (normal people) do. I was generally given about 5 different excuses for why they were going to be shipping my order until way later than they initially told me. I'm worried they won't ship until the 14th business day, at this point I can not trust anything that they say, as every time I call I'm told something different. I plan to get my invitations elsewhere and use their money back guarantee to return the order. I requested a digital proof of something before it was made but was told only invitations are sent as a digital proof first. Because of this, I made it explicitly clear how I wanted my item to be printed (it was a simple monogram, mind you...) and there were multiple emails sent back and forth between myself and customer service, with her confirming the correct monogram. However, when I received the items, the monogram was completely wrong! "JAS" had turned into "FAJ." I tried contacting customer service, but they are not open on weekends (very inconvenient!). I have emailed them, but will also be calling them first thing in the morning. I finally went ahead and ordered them, and when they arrived, I realized that I had managed to somehow, even after multiple checks on the words and spelling, order them dated two thousand twelve for a wedding in 2013. I almost lost it. Luckily, I called customer service (who answered on a Sunday, hooray!), and they said no problem, just send them back and we'll refund, and you can reorder. Never ever order from Exclusively Weddings!!! My oddessey with Exclusively Weddings started back at the beginning of October. I went onto their website and found such pretty invitations for a great price. I should have read the Yelp reviews before placing my order. I too was subjected to the confusion regarding two different delivery dates. One date is stated when you place the order, a second date can be found when you are trying to track your order through the system. I had to make several phone calls to a generally unresponsive (and very rarely open) customer service department who seemed genuinely befuddled by the two different delivery dates (and could never give me a answer as to why this was done). Needless to say, expect to wait a loooong time get your order from Exclusively Weddings. When I finally did receive my invitations they were quite pretty and I received many compliments. I decided (against my better judgement) to order matching menu cards. I did this with plenty of time to spare, knowing they are very slow. First I received a call stating that they couldn't be printed in bright white ink. Huh? I was asking for them to be printed on bright white paper! Then when I received my menu cards right before Thanksgiving they were incorrect. I called and spoke to a customer service rep that swore up and down she would call me right back. You guessed it...no phone call. I called over the Thanksgiving weekend and the customer service department was CLOSED. I understand that it was a holiday weekend but they are "customer service"! Shouldn't they be open for their customers? I called again the following week and spoke to Jackie. First I explained my frustration with the lack of customer service. He was unable to understand the idea that I customer service department should be open for customers on a regular basis. Okay, fine. Second, I asked what had happened to my menu cards. He readily admitted they made a mistake and left off all the desserts. He said he would research it and call me back. Again, no phone call. I called and spoke to him again. He said they would reprint the menu cards but that they'd lost all my information and I would need to give it to them again. At that point I gave up in frustration. I asked for a refund. He said he would have to look into that too. No phone call back, no refund. nothing. Last week my fiancee called them to ask again for a refund. They assured him that they could still print the menu cards in time for my wedding which is next week. In fact they even read the menu to him over the phone (the information that Jackie claimed was lost). So we tried again - the are reprinting the menus and claimed they would be shipped yesterday. Now when I check their website I see they are not going to ship for another 3 business days. Not in time for my wedding. This company is awful and completely unprofessional. This website and company can be very deceiving. I ordered a gift for my father for my wedding and received a gift that did not meet my expectations. It was a smaller version of what they made it out to be. For the amount of money I spent I was very disappointing. I contacted them and all they could tell me was that I could return it for a refund. Problem with that is that they don't refund shipping charges! So I can return it and lose $10/15 to shipping or I can keep something I dislike and is way too small for the purposes that I bought it. I'm really surprised at all of the poor reviews for them. I ordered my wedding invitations in January 2014 for a September wedding. everything went very smoothly. I was able to get samples first and then I liked the fact that I could play around make my own wording. When it came down to ordering the invitation, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I got them. And I was excited about the extra run off that they gave. My rep was Ms. Stephanie and each time I called she yelled at me and once even call me a liar when i had my back up information to support my shipping date when my order was "on hold" for over a week. I am shocked how many bad reviews but then some of them seems very old. For instance the person complaining about the company emailing a draft for correction, they now let you review your correction before submitting the order. I had even made some mistakes on my order so when i called them the next day, gladly they fixed it and i was able to make additional correction too. She was very polite and concerned and i did not even have to wait too long on hold. A big plus was for me to be able to personalize my card and something that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Exclusively weddings is supposed to be a website that should make my wedding planning go smoothly. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES. Here are the reasons why: 1.) I ordered 250 "Key to my heart" bottle openers & I was very excited to get them in the mail only to find that ALL 250 of them were COVERED in mold ! I have a baby in my home, and mold is not something that my daughter ( or anyone for that matter ) should be around. 2.) I purchased items for my bridesmaids gifts on March 5th & on March 17th they email me to tell me that 9 of the items I purchased were back ordered. Now, I completely understand popular items go on back order but to find out 12 days later is a little out of control. They sent me a new receipt with a total of 68$ ( without the backordered items ) & then somehow my account was charged 107$. I have an event coming up for family and friends. As a gift to them, I wanted to give them personalized wine glasses. I ordered the Personalized Wine Glass Favor- 9oz. (Item #112-2706). Their website stated the glasses were 9 oz. I thought this would be a perfect gift. When I received them, the glasses were 5 oz. I was horrified. Since the glasses were small, you can't read the wording on the glass. I asked them if I could view the item before they started the processing of glasses. They explained not with these glasses. We ordered invitations and samples from this company. The samples took awhile for us to get it (2 weeks, I think. It seemed a crazy amount of time since we live so close), but they were free as advertised. The samples also don't have tracking numbers on them, which means that the workers at Exclusively Weddings couldn't tell us how long it would take. The invitations, on the other hand, was a much better experience. The editing tool wasn't hard to use and we got exactly what we were looking for. Not to mention, the price was fantastic. Since the invitations themselves had tracking numbers, we were able to anticipate exactly when we would get them. Exclusively Weddings uses deceptive business practices, which everyone should know about before purchasing these specific invitations. 100 lb. text weight stock is NOT 100 lb. cover weight stock. This little difference in text on the website makes a big difference! Most of the invitations on the site are 100 lb. cover weight stock. This Vintage Lace Wedding Invitation is 100 lb. text weight stock equivalent to high quality printer paper. Yes, the same printer paper used by your home inkjet printer just slightly thicker. It's about 40 Ib. cover weight stock. Don't take my word for it, read the other reviews on this card. This invitation is printer paper with raised ink and embossing. Also It took close to one month to receive the cards. It was 18 business days not 10 business days according to the website just to process and make the cards. This was after I repeatedly called everyday asking for status and them running around the warehouse clueless. We received them two days later. Ordered June 2nd and received June 29th. Now we have to waste more money shipping these invitations back to them for a refund (if I can actually get one). Save yourself the time and headache. Beware of ordering invitations through Exclusively Weddings. 1. Be sure you have a lot of time to wait. In my case, although the website for the invitations I ordered said 10-14 business days turnaround time, after I ordered and asked for proofs, the window became 21-24 days (or something around there). I waited a week for emailed proofs, and while I was fine with having a PDF proof, I know for a fact that it does not take one week to turn around an email proof. That should be 2 business days, maximum. 2. Be sure you have a lot of time to wait on the phone, and be prepared to call back when you get disconnected. The same applies for their online customer service chat "channel". Once I saw that the print job was going to take far longer than I'd anticipated, I called to cancel the order (I needed the invitations to mail by a certain date to give my guests adequate time to respond). Only upon threatening to cancel the order was I told the job would ship within the window that the web page advertised. When the order status was not updated on the website, upon calling back a 3rd time to go over it again, I was disconnected twice, and my chat session was terminated at least 5 times. 3. Be sure to check the order once it's received--IMMEDIATELY. Upon receipt of my invitations (which came exactly when they said they would arrive after I'd complained numerous times), the printing on the outer envelope was incorrect. It reflected another person's return address, and therefore, the envelopes were unusable. By extension, this completely put me back to the original problem of my needing to mail the invitations by a certain date. When I called back to tell them the problem, because it was Memorial Day weekend, I was told the earliest they would ship out was the following week, "but maybe sooner if they could". The customer service agent then began explaining to me how FedEx worked, and how no one would be able to get the order out to me sooner. Not my problem, as far as I was concerned, because if ANY quality assurance had gone into the processing of my job, I wouldn't have been on the telephone with them for the 7th time. By that point, I was fed up and asked for a refund rather than wait to receive the right envelopes. Bottom line: the prices are right at this establishment, and if you order WELL in advance of when you need your invitations, you will probably feel like you got a deal. This company was awesome! I ordered a Bridal Survival Kit from them for my friend. When it was delivered it was left on my porch and someone stole it. I immediately called Exclusively Weddings and told them what happened and without skipping a beat the customer service representative told me they would send another one. It arrived at the destination about 3 days later. After receiving the kit and giving it to my friend she absolutely LOVED it! It has everything she will need for her big day! I finally decided to order a tri-fold invitation from Exclusively Weddings since they appeared to have what I was looking for at the best price. I paid extra money to expedite my order but it still took about three weeks for my order to finally come. When I opened my package, I nearly cried. The invitation design looked NOTHING like the picture. The design reminded me of my grandmother's couch. The material had poor quality; the invitations were very thin. The interior envelope lining had no shine or spark about them. To make matters worse, the sample invitation was thrown together with a loose, half tied bow. When I opened the invitation I noticed the text was off centered. I quickly closed the box and read the return policy on the website. The policy claims there is a 100% satisfaction guaranteed and you can exchange or return items within 30 days, shipping charges are only refundable if the company made an error. So I called customer service right away. I asked to speak with a manager but I was told it would take 24-48 hours to get in touch with a manager. So I told the girl my situation (that the text was off centered and I was unsatisfied with the overall product). She instructed me to email a picture of my product. The girl I spoke to agreed to redo the invitations right away. I decided to choose a simple pocketed invitation with no designs. She took down my order over the phone and I had to pay the difference at that time. I was told I would not see a proof of my new order until after I paid for the product. I was also informed that my invitations would be placed as a priority ahead of other orders and would be rushed ordered to me and I could expect the invitations two days after the proofing process was complete. With my wedding exactly two months away at the time, I felt a little better. Unfortunately, several hours later I received the first proof full of errors. The proof had the wrong date, my city was misspelled, and the new direction's card was unsatisfactory to say the least. So no problem, I politely corrected the errors and changed up the directions card within an hour of receiving the proof. Nearly a full day later, I received another proof with a few errors and random bullet points all over the directions card. I politely corrected the errors and this time wrote the directions in paragraph form to avoid the awkward look of the directions card within an hour of receiving the proof. I was confident that this would be the last proof since I told them it looked good besides the few minor details. Sadly I never received a response. I called the next morning (on a Friday) and I was told by the same girl that claimed I would have my product a few days after the proofing process, that they would get to it sometime later today. Five hours later, I called back again, apparently the girl doing the proofing was the only one who works on invitations and she was gone for the day, I was told to try back next week. I informed them that was unacceptable since it did not align with what I was previously told. I asked for a manager. I was placed on hold for nearly ten minutes only to get on the phone with the same girl that originally handled my complaint. She said, "well I didn't think it would take all of this, it should have been an easy fix." I told her that was not my fault. At that point, the girl tried to argue with me. The lack of professionalism was so obvious. I told her I was not going to sit and argue with her and I needed to speak to a manager. That's when I was informed that they were an online store and their boss gives them freedom to handle the company. At that point, given the nature of the situation and how all of the employees were treating me, I was fully convinced that they were/ are a couple of girls working in their garage somewhere trying to rip people off. So I asked for my money back. She said I would not receive my money back for shipping. I told her that was not what her policy said. She finally said the only way I would get my money back was if I mailed the original invitations back at my own expense which would not be refunded. After a total lack of trust in the company and little time to spare, I decided I did not have time for their games and I did not trust them to refund my money. I had to use the original invitations. Words cannot express how embarrassed I felt using those invitations but I had to move ford for the sake of my wedding. Without a doubt, I will definitely be contacting the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and my lawyer. Please, spare yourself now! Do not let this company and their prices fool you, the quality of their products are not worth it. In addition, the employees are incompetent and lacking professionalism. I am extremely upset about my order. It was supposed to take 14-16 days to complete the order. I called 3 times for status update and to see why it went over that time frame. Every time I called, customer service stated they "didn't know why it was taking so long" and that there was nothing they can do. It took almost a month to get my order which is ridiculous. If I knew it would have taken that long, I would've gone with a different company from the start. There was nothing done about my concerns and complaints.
