Brides PLEASE check the sample dress you're buying for staining. None of my girls or anyone noticed that my dress was stained and not worth $3000 that I paid for it. After purchasing it, I took it out for the first time at the alteration shop and noticed black stains on top of the flowers and the train. I contacted them right away and said I didn't notice this staining when I tried it on. I sent them pictures of the staining and they agreed it was more than normal and they said they would attempt to take care of it. I dropped off the dress and then came back to pick it up just to find out that it wasn't done to what I thought was an appropriate standard. They tried again and it was a very small difference. There are still visible stains on the dress.No bride should be spending that kind of money for a stained dress! I'm pretty upset with my experience and would not recommend this place. read more

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. 1. They enter you in a chance to win money for 5 star reviews only. In other words.....these are fake/coerced reviews. 2. I went to 7 bridal stores and this one was by far the worst because they were so pushy!! They refused to let me look at dresses myself. They would only allow me to give them ideas and they could go look. Then they would not let me leave without making another appointment. My stylist knew I was going to look at a specific dress the day before the follow up appointment and said "if you find the one, it's fine, just let us know, and we'll cancel it. No problem." I actually ended up canceling the appointment before 48 hours before and they still charged me $50. I even found the dress that I liked at a different location because I refuse to buy from them because I did not appreciate their pushiness and sleazy sales tactics. I recommend going to literally any other store for a wedding dress shopping. And this should say a lot, since I left good reviews for every other store that I went to...... run. read more

I could not recommend this place more! They are conveniently located right off the highway between Greensboro and Raleigh. They have a wide selection of dresses in different styles, sizes, and price points. The store is clean, organized, and spacious. You are able to pull dresses yourself or utilize your attendant. An appointment is not required. When you walk in you are greeted with a smile and a friendly face who will introduce you to a bridal consultant. I visited this Carolina Bridal World location after visiting their Smithfield store, where I had a great experience! The Smithfield store had a dress I loved, but they didn't have my size and I didn't have time to order the dress so they found the dress for me (in the correct size) at the Burlington location. Anna was my attendant and she was friendly and helpful. I loved the dress, when I tried it on in the correct size. Anna helped me choose the perfect veil, and I was so pleased. I purchased my dress and veil after being at the store for only 30 minutes. It was a great experience, and I am excited to walk down the aisle. read more

First time ever being here! I love the layout of the showroom; lots of mirrors, big open space for all the dresses, seating for everyone. It was packed the Saturday I went, walked in and got assigned to a woman named Mariann, she helped me find my dream dress and I will forever be grateful for her for making my experience so memorable! She laughed and had a good time just like me and my family. There were also some other ladies that were helping her..didn't catch their names though! I went on a day Stella York was showcasing her 2020 collection and ended up with one myself. I feel honored to have chosen a dress that isn't even on the market yet and I'll be the first bride to wear it down the aisle! Came here 5 weeks before my wedding (elopement!) in search of a dress. When I walked in we were immediately helped- I told the ladies what I was looking for and the amount I wanted to spend and they were honest with me and said I was probably going to have to spend more LOL. They helped me search and the price range I was trying to stay in did NOT have what I wanted so I decided I'd leave- but as I was walking out I saw a dress in the window that I knew was the one. I looked at the price and left anyway. I made it half a mile away and I phoned my fiancé and told him I loved one dress but it was 3x what I felt like I should spend for an elopement, he said "we're only getting married once" so I sped back to the store and got that dang dress. We stumbled on Carolina Bridal World in November, while we were on a girls weekend shopping trip. About 5 seconds after walking in....we knew that when we needed to look for my daughters wedding dresses...we had found "our store". This weekend, we made the trip from West Virginia to North Carolina, and visited Carolina Bridal World. I can not say enough nice things about this store. Saying that they exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. Their store is clean, organized, have a huge selection of MANY sizes, and they have a price point for ANY budget. I can not say enough good things about the staff. From the moment we walked in, my daughter was treated like royalty. We had a big crew with us and were never rushed, or talked to like we didn't know what we wanted. The ladies there were very knowledgeable, very patient and so sweet. She made us feel welcomed and always had a smile on her face :) you could tell she loved helping brides find their dream dress :) Every time I "showcased" my dress to my family, she made sure to always fluff out the train to add the affect of a true wedding dress! Their facilities are modern, pristine, and chic They have a great inventory of dresses to pick from, but unfortunately, most of their dresses were out of my price range. Came Carolina Bridal World on July 1st while on vacation (family lives near Greensboro). First time trying on bridal dresses and had a great experience. Kayla was the consultant that worked with my mom and I and she was truly amazing. Very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The store has a great selection of plus size dresses which was comforting since I had more than one option. This review is four months overdue, and I feel terrible about it. I never thought I'd get married, but when I found the perfect man for me, I said yes! Then the task of finding a dress was on the horizon. With both of my parents gone and being plus size, I dreaded this task. However, Carolina Bridal World put me at ease immediately. I called and spoke with Amanda and she assured me they had plus size dresses, dresses with sleeves, not white dresses, etc. I was assigned Alisha as my consultant, and she was wonderful! I found a dress that I liked but it was sleeveless, so Alisha had me speak with the seamstress Betsy to see if it would be possible to add on sleeves. Betsy and Amanda conferred and thought that it could be don, but they had to check with the designer first. Amanda called me a couple of days later to say that they can order the netting and appliques, and we were a go! While I was at the shop with my two sisters in law and nieces, I realized that it was the most encouraging environment. I really worried about shopping for my dress without my mother, but between the staff, my family, and the other clients there, I felt completely comfortable. A mother who was there for her daughter's appointment made it a point to tell me I found the right dress (after watching me try on many dresses) and she even came over and sat in our area when she saw that someone else was trying to pressure me into a different dress. She was amazing and made a difference in my day. Speaking with Betsy made me feel like a piece of my mom was there and I don't have any question that I made the right decision going there. I encourage anyone to go to Carolina Bridal World, especially if you have any doubts that you will be able to find the right dress. read more
