We are so glad we did. They dealt with this stressed out bride better than my own husband. They were so fast to respond to any questions. They presented us with a beautiful presentation to pick our destination venue. They created a phenomenal website and app to ease the booking pain for our guests. I knew they were great, but the guests comments made my day! They could not brag about them enough. We had a handicapped guest. We had 72 guests the week before our wedding that dropped to 57 because of Covid. If there was an issue, they handled it with such grace and ease...all while keeping me out of it. When we had 2 guests test positive in Mexico with the fear of getting stuck for a while, Kimberly and Jeff were on it! They told them exactly what to do and all was sorted within hours (false positive, so glad they told them to take a PCR test and they got to come home ASAP). It does not matter where you live, if you are planning a destination wedding or any trip or a honeymoon, you would be a fool not to use them. I am an event planner for my job, so I know what to look for. They exceed all expectations! Customer for life!

The hotels she suggested were in the best locations which made getting around easy. My favorite day was my birthday. She booked us a private driver who drove us around Tuscany. Alicia & Two Pineapples in Paradise is a complete NIGHTMARE to work with. Communication at the…read morebeginning was what I would call "love bombing". Very excited, very helpful, very encouraging. Once you book and make that deposit, communication becomes lacking. Multiple of my guests had issues getting in contact with Alicia. Often times, Alicia would go days, or weeks, without answering if answered at all. Her "assistant" Hannah often times would respond after you've emailed multiple times and inform you that Alicia is "out of office" yet again. Thankfully I got in contact with my wedding planner from Sandals/Beaches and planned a lot of it with her through emails, because Alicia missed a lot of information and we missed out on one of the locations we really wanted due to this. We were able to pick another location, but obviously you never want to settle when it is your wedding day. The location we originally picked was not available from the beginning, which was communicated to Alicia, but never communicated to us until about 1.5 months before we were set to fly to Jamaica. What is normally stressful as a bride, was made almost unbearable by using her services. We also booked our honeymoon through Alicia, in which credits were misplaced and we also had a "free catamaran cruise" but that was never communicated to us until the resort was attempting to fix our credits on the day before departing. I reached out to Alicia due to finding her on the Sandals/Beaches website & another travel planner at the same time. Alicia charges for her services, a hefty fee, where others do not. Due to this, I thought she would be more qualified, diligent, and involved. I was very wrong. The only time Alicia was prompt with communication is when she wanted her payment toward the end of planning, when issues were still being had with getting my credits/refund. We flew out, and Alicia did not reach out to us until the morning of the wedding. Not once did she check on how things were going at the resort, mind you she also charges a large fee to fly to the resort with you and 'assist' which we opted not to do since the experience had already been extremely frustrating. On returning home, she also did not reach out. These may seem like small things but when you book a wedding with 35+ people traveling to a foreign country, you could wish them safe travels? Fortunately my wedding was great, and I'm so thankful I got in contact with the wedding planners offsite, and the onsite team was amazing. There were definitely moments that needed to be fixed last minute & unfortunately this left a very negative impact on us. I would highly recommend and suggest doing research before hiring someone like this for your biggest day, or even small travel. I have screenshots and emails from all communication. Over the past year, my insurance premiums have increased by nearly 30% annually. When I contacted AAA for a clear explanation, representatives could not provide a transparent, data-driven reason for the increases. Vague phrases like "market adjustments" were repeated, but no one could break down what specifically justified such significant hikes. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was repeatedly transferred into unrelated call queues or different departments. It became clear that escalation was being avoided rather than facilitated. That is not how a reputable organization handles customer concerns. Additionally, I inquired about discounts that should reasonably apply -- including veteran-related benefits, proximity to a fire hydrant (within 20 feet), and a five-minute fire department response time. These were either dismissed, vaguely addressed, or not honored without meaningful explanation. Insurance depends on trust and transparency. Customers deserve clear answers, consistent policies, and representatives empowered to resolve issues -- not redirect them. I hope AAA leadership reviews call recordings, strengthens quality assurance oversight, and implements real accountability. Loyal customers should not have to fight for clarity.
