They won't come and fix and won't return calls. This was also supposed to be a friend and business associate. They have taken advantage and are a horrible company. We have been faithful customers of Executive Cooling since 2014. That was when we met Tom, who reviewed the problems with the old system. We could have had it repaired, but the system was over 15 years old, old technology, and a new system would be the best solution. We purchased the new Trane XV20i, and replaced all the ductwork to the new style insulated ducts. It is everything Tom told us it that it will be. Joe, I wish there was some way to respond to your posting. You are right, the system was installed in 2017 and not 2019. Your technician took 1 3/4 hours to install the coil as I stated. He then did the six month inspection, for which I already paid, taking the rest of the time. You should have checked your own records before calling me wrong on the time. I watched the technician install the coil and know it took 1 3/4 hours. Of course, that doesn't include travel time which he would have had anyway to do the pre-paid six month inspection. The technician who gave me the estimate told me that it would take at least four hours to install which would have still resulted in over $200/hour. Instead, I ended up paying over $400/hour. How do you sleep at night? I gave your firm deserved compliments on all previous interactions. You just nailed me on this one. I did check with another Trane dealer and learned their flat rate for the same work was $375.00. The purpose of my review was to warn other potential customers to do exactly what you suggested - deal with another Trane dealer. Your $810.90 charge for 1 3/4 hours of labor is pure rip off, in my opinion. You said my review was dishonest. Could you explain how? read more

How many $120 service calls do I have to pay before you fix an obvious issue with your product? I never had an issue with the first unit you installed and this one has been never ending issues. Every service tech you've sent seems to have zero knowledge. What does my service contract cover..obviously nothing. Called to complain and zero response. I purchased an AC unit in 2017 from executive,the unit leaked and my ceiling was damaged. I pay for maintenance, and the guy who was to clean the drain line did not do it. they are not taking responsibility. The guy who cleaned it after the damage said the drain line was really clogged, and the pan was full, and overflowing. how can that happen when it should be cleaned every 6 months? I got the paper report of the prior cleaning from the office, and it did not say he cleaned the drain line, which is what I pay for. AC people always wright a thorough report on what they do at a house. I waited 12 days for them to contact me, with 4 phone calls in between, before I finally went in the office at 7;30 am to catch one of the owners. I am shocked that a company as large as they are, and have been in business as long as the have, can treat a customer like that. I have used them for quite some time on my rentals, and this is a first issue I have ever had with them. read more

My air conditioning wasn't working. I called executive and that was my first mistake. The tech came out. Explained that my motor was worn out and had to be replaced and he had one on his truck. when the job was completed the tech told me it was a replacement motor and not the right size. I asked him did he have the right size and he replied that it would have taken 3 more days to get the correct motor and it would cost more. I asked him why he didn't offer me a choice because I want it done correctly and won't be home all week anyway. He replied that he felt That I probably want cool air now. WRONG....... When He left I inspected his work only to find screws missing and wires tie wrapped together that eventually broke after 1 week and made all kinds of noise until I went out opened the unit and fixed it correctly. I called the Owner to complain of the Shoty work and his reply was " so... what do you want me to do". I told him what I want is for him and his workers to never come back to my Home. I will find someone more professional who takes pride in the work of its employees. Don't use this Company. read more

A/C not working. I called executive as they were original installers. tech came cleaned out pipe, stuck thermometer in unit and said everything was fine. 90.00 charge. two weeks later not working again. they came out again, unit out of freon. evaporator coil has a leak. they said part was under warranty (system not even two years old). they came out to fix it 90.00 charge again as they claimed it was a different issue and 650.00 labor to replace evaporator coil. since then system is still leaking in garage and turned heater on for first time 2 weeks ago and not working! tripping breaker. I will mention a positive first because I don't want to be only negative. The technician was punctual. That is the only positive I can think of. They were actually there sooner than I expected. Now on to what I was disappointed with. First was the technician's lack of people skills. Not even a smile, only just the impression that he was being inconvenienced. Then I was charged the $95 diagnostic fee, only to find out that he didn't actually have time to get anything done with it tonight. His first recommendation was of course to replace the unit because it is older, and he wasn't sure that by doing the repair, it may break even further. I was then told to call the office to schedule the coil cleaning because it is a procedure that takes a couple hours. I called and found out their next available appointment to do so was 2 weeks out. If I had known that they wouldn't have time to even try to get the house cooler, I would have called another company. read more

If you're looking for the "Punta Gorda Discount" (retail + 50%), Executive is your place. They serviced one of our AC units twice in one week, billing us several hundred dollars. After the second repair didn't work, we asked for a quote to replace both units. Their quote was literally 50% higher than the Port Charlotte company we eventually chose, and they did not offer one penny of credit for their failed repairs. We could not have been happier with the contractor who got the job, so it wasn't just a lowball, fly-by-night quote we were comparing. read more

My air conditioner in my home stopped cooling. I called Executive Heating & Cooling for repair, and the office associate was courteous, professional and very accommodating. They scheduled a repair person, on the same day. They arrived and were very prompt and punctual. After a full diagnosis, my A/C, of 25 years, was deemed unrepairable. Within a few days, they were able to install a complete, new system. The installation was very clean and neat. The owner of the company, personally visited my home to inspect and insure my satisfaction. The technicians showed respect for my home and gave an explanation of the full benefits and features of the new system. Also, they explained the energy savings I would see on my electric bill. The price was fair and reasonable. They provided a follow up call to insure the system was performing in the manner that was promised. I have been using executive heating and cooling to service my equipment that had been installed in 1996 by a competitor. they have worked with me over the past few years to Keep the system running and fix the problems that the other company had created until I could afford a new system . I recently had them install a new HVAC system for me to replace my 19 year old system. They were very diligent at finding the correct system for my application. the installers were very professional and courteous. I just had the final inspection done and as the inspector came up to my house he informed me that he had just been to three other jobs done by their competitors and all three jobs had failed the inspection. As he walked around and looked at the installation he said it was very well done. Mine was the first he had passed that day. Thank you Tom and Joe for the great service.
