Stay away - will not standby their work. 16 month old rudd system . Had same error code 3 times in 16 months was always told to power on /off and see if that resets. It did the first 2 times - 3'time not . They wanted 500 dollars to come out on weekend and 150 dollars to open service center to get part. When i pushed back and stated it shouldnt be so much and they should have fixed on the first 2 times under full warranty they refused. So just fyi not a company that stands by their work. And over charges. I called 2 other local companys and both will come out on weekend for 135 plus parts. Part is under warranty so u do the math. read more

I could not figure out how to get my digital thermostat to continue operating. It simply went blank one day. After trying everything I could find online I decided to contact Licensed to Chill. We had two previous good experiences with Chris, Jason and Licensed to Chill, so I called them when our AC blower motor went out. Jason came out, checked out the unit and quoted me "around $500" to replace the motor. He said he had to go fetch the motor and would be gone for 45 minutes. He was gone for over two hours, but quickly finished the job when he returned, then presented me with a bill for $608, which included 3 hours of labor despite the fact that he had been at our house for less than an hour. He charged us labor for his extended trip to get the new motor. Why should I pay for that? Seems like BS to me. I talked to Chris and he said "someone has to pay for that time". I wanted to know what blower motor they put in and all they would tell me was that it was a genteq motor. Hard to check the price without a model number. I don't think we will use Licensed to Chill again. read more
