The maintenance plan is worth every penny. Every six months Brian comes out and checks everything. He does a very thorough job! I've only had a couple of minor things in between but nothing that cost anything. Like I said, the maintenance plan is worth it and as long as Brian performs the maintenance, your system will continue to run smoothly. At least that's the way it is for me!

A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. That is why I have used Vent Doctor a handful of times, usually to clean my dryer vent. This time I remembered they did air duct cleaning as well. I am glad I remembered because they found numerous issues with mold/mildew all related to my AC company not doing their job during annual maintenances - causing mildew in my air handler and some ductwork. Wyatt cleaned the ducts and now there is a noticeably better airflow AND quality in the house. I have a new AC company coming tomorrow to clean the air handler and fix the electrical issue(s). Wyatt is an awesome individual who always has a great attitude and professional demeanor. He has no issues with answering questions and even brings issues to your attention, usually with a few solutions as well. He shows up on time, calls when/if he says he will, and goes above and beyond the basic service to make sure you know what is going on in your own home. Definitely look forward to him being here once a year to clean dryer and AC vents because I know I don't have to worry about him making a mess or breaking anything. A consummate professional I trust in my home. And that, as I said earlier, is a rare gem to find when it comes to SWFL contractors.

I had a fantastic experience with License to Chill AC Company. From the start, their communication was excellent--I received both an email and text reminder about my appointment, and the technician even called when he was on the way. That level of professionalism is always appreciated. Laz was the technician who came to my home, and he was outstanding. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on with my AC and made sure I understood the issue before moving forward. A few years ago I purchased a Wi-Fi thermostat but was never able to connect it because my AC system didn't have a "C" wire. Laz not only addressed the AC issue but also took care of adding the C wire so I could finally use the thermostat. That extra attention to detail really impressed me. It's refreshing to find a company that is both highly competent and fair in their service. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and honest. I will definitely continue using License to Chill AC Company for all of my AC needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable HVAC service. read more

When you deal with Licensed to Chill, you get quality work at a fair price, actually done by (Chris) the owner of the company! (As opposed to by "$10/hour hired hands" that come out and do the actual work.) Home was getting hotter on a Friday night. Fan was blowing but air wasn't cool. Called first thing Saturday morning and Laz was able to come over a few hours later. Problem was quickly identified and quickly resolved. It was the weekend so there is a weekend rate. Worth every penny! I have been a customer for years and the service never disappoints!
