I kept putting off ordering a graduation gift for my son till I was strapped for time. All the sites I searched, would not be able to send an engraved pen to me before Mothers Day, not to mention at a decent price. This site allowed you to pay for 3 day shipping. After I ordered, I called Pete at the store and asked if they had military discounts. He was able to give me the discounted price even after I had placed my order. I was ecstatic when I received the pen arrived 1 day early. The pen was beautifully crafted! I didn't realized that the top and bottom of the pen case was held on magnetically which was a great surprise. Pete made for an excellent experience! I was looking for a gift for a gentleman that retired from my office and one of his colleagues suggested a nice pen and pencil set since he still loved writing. Unfortunately, it was just 4 days before his party so I was not sure if I could find anything to ship in time much less have it personalized. I quickly found the Executive Gift Shoppe and found a great boxed set. It said ordered shipped within 24 hours of receiving the order. I called to confirm too. Anyway, I placed the order. In my haste to complete it quickly, I somehow did not approve the personalization so there was NONE noted. The person who saw the order (Pete E.), emailed to ask, "just checking, did you not want any engraving?" I immediately responded that I did and he asked me to just provide what I wanted in the email and he would expedite it. Not only did he expedite it, he was very helpful in the process. Incredible customer service! I had to email them t request an engraving change just hours after placing my order. I could not have been more pleased with the service or the quality of the product. I was looking for an engraved give away gift for a corporate event that was being put together on short notice. I was a tiny bit nervous because their website didn't give you a "real life" view of what it would look like when done. But when I got them ... wow! Amazing! Pete's customer service was GREAT. I ordered a standard sized men's bi-fold style wallet, but was sent the incorrect item. I sent an email over the weekend requesting an RMA to return the incorrect item and to get the one I originally ordered. Pete from Executive Gift Shoppe emailed me back on a Sunday night, apologized, told me to keep the one I received, and they would get the correct one out to me - shipping tomorrow (Monday). I've now received the correct item. I really appreciate the fact that I didn't have to screw around hassling with them about it, having to return the incorrect item etc. It took one email to get the process of correcting the situation rolling. My fellow cast-members (from a recent production of "12 Angry Men") and I decided to get gifts for our director and producer. When someone thought of getting a gavel with an inscription on it, we realized we had the perfect gift idea! The only problem was that it was already Sunday and we needed to research them, price them out, determine the inscription, make the order, and have them delivered within a week. I said I would start the ball rolling. I don't remember how I stumbled on the Executive Gift Shoppe, but it was an early hit and they had exactly what I wanted. My only concern was that everything looked too good to be true! (cheap prices, fast delivery, free inscription, beautiful objects). Also, the website seemed very professional, so I figured that if I dealt with these folks, I'd be dealing with a nameless/faceless organization. I decided to step through the process anyway and when I encountered my first question, I shot off an email through their "contact us" page (or link or whatever it was) and heard back within two-and-a-half hours! I had several follow-up questions and every one was answered very quickly. My last question was which method of shipping should I use to ensure Friday-delivery (it was already Tuesday and I wanted there to be a buffer, in case shipping was late). I was told "UPS 2nd day air shipping", so I went with that. I was still a little concerned about the inscription coming out just right (I used different font sizes on each line), so I asked the same gentleman who I'd been corresponding with by email, how sure I could be that it would turn out the way I wanted. He said that if I sent him my order #, he would let me know if there were any issues with the inscription. I put in the order, I sent the order # to the man who'd been helping me, he wrote back to say all looked well, I got tracking emails when the items were shipped, the items arrived on Friday, they looked fantastic, and the director and producer LOVED THEM (and my fellow cast members were very impressed as well)! Interestingly, the man I dealt with by email was named "Pete" and that name is mentioned in another review here, on Yelp. I am wondering if this is actually a one-man operation that just looks like a larger outfit. Either way, I marveled at the customer service, quality and value of product, and timeliness of delivery. I purchased 2 personalized business card holders. One was wooden and engraved. I also purchased a little bag for it to fit into. It was for a gift. It was absolutely beautiful and the little bag was a nice extra touch. The 2nd personalized business card holder was for myself. It is a faux leather covered holder with a metal personalized plate attached to the faux leather. This item looked nice until I opened it. Since the name plate is located adjacent to where the card holder opens, it is attached at a high stress point and came off as soon as I opened the case. I have tried reattaching the plate; but, because of where it is seated on the case, it pops off every time I open the case. Also, the metal does not seem to attach easily to the faux leather. All of the tried up glue caked on the case looks bad. The holder is hard to open and several times when I was opening it after reattaching the metal name plate, my fingers slipped and my fingernails moved across the outside of the case. Even though I have very short fingernails, that are filed smoothly and are thin, they caused scuffs on the cover and only after trying a few times to fix the cardholder, it began to look tattered and worn. The faux leather cover looked nice at first; but, it does not seem to hold up under any type of stress. I have not yet had a chance to use this holder and it already looks bad. I contacted the company over a week ago and have not received any kind of reply. Had I received a reply, there is a good chance my rating would have been higher. The wooden cardholder was beautiful and I would not hesitate to suggest ordering it. read more

I couldn't be happier with the gift options they have for "someone" who has everything and is hard to shop for. After I ordered, my product came much faster than expected which was perfect because it was a birthday gift and I was worried. I ordered on a Friday, the 12th for my boyfriends birthday on the 23rd and it came by Wednesday the 18th. Might not be that fast all the time. Maybe I'm close to them but I was very happy! Sometimes engraving places can take forever. There customer service is incredibly fast and helpful too. My fiancé didn't like something ( he's crazy ) and they sent us another money clip within 24 hours. I thought it was going to be a huge process but so simple and they are so helpful. I ordered a pocket watch just after Christmas from Executive Gift Shoppe. After placing the order I received an email from them stating that the watch would have to be ordered from the manufacturer because they had none in stock. I told Pete that I was planning on wearing the watch to my friends wedding on January 4th so could they expedite the shipping at no cost, since the website didn't state that the watch was out of stock. Pete replied "Sure, no problem." I got the watch on the 3rd and wore it to the wedding. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can't say that enough. Don't hesitate to do business with EGS. Order a zippo with the free engraving after having gone to a shop that does the same at the local mall. Price I was quoted there was almost $100 more then ordering it through executive gift shoppe, and that was for an inferior lighter as well. I was worried that maybe the engraving would not be of quality, but received the lighter, which was shipped next day, today and it is fantastic. Engraving is top notch and I am very happy. Highly recommend, especially for the price. read more
