We had only a standup shower in our bathroom and the floor of it looked dirty - not sure if stained or if it hadn't been scrubbed. The shower does flood the bathroom from an opening in the shower door. There was also construction noise outside at night 9pm-12am. The staff were nice and helpful. There is free breakfast in the mornings, I would get up early or take some back to the room because it gets busy! There were front parking spots every night for us and I would expect Semi's to be parked around since it is so close to the highway. The shower water pressure was great, water got really hot (just how I like it), and everything was in working order. Everything looked clean besides the shower floor. Our previous hotel gave away our reservation even though we called previously in the day to inform them we would be flying in overnight, so we were in a bind. The staff were kind and helpful. When we were venting to each other about our other hotel, they checked in with us that we didn't have a bad experience with them and apologized for how the other hotel treated us (it wasn't a Holiday Inn). There was breakfast available, but it is $20 a person. We were able to see there was an indoor and outdoor pool. The room was clean and everything seemed to be in working order.

What made the situation even worse is that I was charged a cancellation fee that same day, even though the reason for canceling was that the room did not have working air conditioning. I have now been trying for days to get the money charged to my card refunded, but no one responds or seems willing to help. It is extremely difficult to get in contact with this hotel, and the lack of communication and customer service has been very frustrating. After traveling for hours with my family, the last thing we needed was to arrive at a hotel with no working air conditioning and then have to spend more time finding another place to stay.
