What a great company. We are totally screwed because we waited too long and remembered to order bathrooms only two weeks before the event, which is way too short notice, during the current situation with the bathroom designs. Fires, outdoor events etc. require a demand that exceeds the supply of all toilets and bathrooms, for all different types of events and construction etc. This person was kind enough to refer every single one of his colleagues and competition in order to attempt to help us which is above and beyond the integrity and responsibility and community that I just hope our world can continue to become that positive! Dave and Kathy at Executive Washrooms were wonderful!! We hired them for our wedding at Donner Lake, Truckee and I was a little worried that the location would pose a problem with electricity and water access, but Dave helped us problem solve and they were exactly where we wanted them. He was kind and professional from start to finish and ALL of my guests commented on how nice the bathrooms were (AC was well appreciated) and how sweet and helpful Dave was. $$ well spent! This review is about 3 years too late. No joke. On my wedding day it poured....... POURED. All of my vendors freaked...... FREAKED. But not Dave, not Dave........ he showed up. Stayed in the rain. Kept his BEAUTIFUL bathrooms clean. Helped people in and out. Was the first one to arrive and last to leave. Everyone complimented the bathroom. Now, I know what your thinking. How sad for you. But don't worry. My wedding was the shit! It was a "rag-ger??" (Sp?) and Dave was there with a smile in the rain. So amazing in fact that my people asked him to be at their events. Hire him! My family and I took the time to meet Dave at his house to book him for our wedding venue for 200 guests. His bathrooms were beautiful and we read the great reviews so we decided to book him. Due to the current safety restrictions with COVID, I unfortunately had to cancel my entire dream wedding because my venue is not allowing receptions for the rest of the year as the governor has not approved. We reached out to all of our other vendors who were kind enough to work with us on the refunds and understood the situation we were all in. We wrote Dave a very nice letter explaining the unfortunate situation and asking for our deposit back because we are unable to use his services on our wedding date and this is completely out of our control. In any other circumstance, we would have used his services. Dave would not give our large deposit back and even stated "Our contract is not out of the ordinary. Many of our customers are re-scheduling and some are changing the venue. We know Empire Mine is a beautiful venue but it is not the only one." This was very upsetting because we are not changing our date and are still moving forward on marrying the day we picked but are not able to use his services due to the restrictions. He also stated, "We are just a small business struggling to keep our commitments and stay open. We would much rather things would return to normal and we could be generating income to run our business. " "Unfortunately, the retainer also goes toward regularly occurring business expenses, not just for day of services. As I'm sure you are aware, all businesses have expenses such as insurance, website, internet service, advertisement, etc. to maintain, whether there is incoming revenue or not. Because our business revolves around social gatherings and special events, we have been especially hard hit by the current restrictions. " Although Dave did offer to reschedule in the near future, we chose to continue to get married on the day we planned. Therefore, we would have appreciated it very much if he would have worked with us on the deposit since we cannot use him due to the state guidelines. My fiance and I are very compassionate about small businesses and what everyone is going through at this difficult time. However, we can't use his services any longer on the date we have planned and feel our deposit should have been returned since this is completely out of our control due to COVID state restrictions. read more

Our wedding took place on my parents' property - a small home with a lot of open space. We elected to rent extra restrooms to optimize traffic and reduce any chance of unforeseen disaster to their home. Dave was the ultimate gentleman! He arrived to set up a day or so early - he made sure everything was level, powered, and ready to go on the big day. These executive washrooms did not disappoint. The unit is compact on the outside and surprisingly spacious on the inside. The interior is warm, refreshing, decorated with fresh flowers, and filled with on-theme music. After dinner, the temperatures dropped significantly - Dave bundled up, quietly read his book, and was attentive to any guests who approached him. Some of us secretly sought the refuge of the luxury washrooms to briefly escape the chilly night air. Dave was prompt, professional, courteous, prepared, and a pleasure to work with. We splurged on Executive Washrooms for our sons wedding in August in Nevada City and are so glad we did. With 84 guests at the outdoor wedding and two restrooms in the house we were worried about the capacity and also the traffic through our home. The washrooms were more convenient to the reception area than the house was and the guests loved them. They are so nice looking that most people didn't realize that they were restrooms and we're going to the house until we made an announcement. It is no joke, guests are still talking about how cool those washrooms were. It was such a novelty. So clean and pretty. So many of our guests enjoyed visiting with Kathy while she was there. My wedding guests complimented 3 main vendors: The band, the food, and the bathrooms!!! The owners of Executive Washrooms, Kathy and Dave, were professional, prompt and kind. My wedding was on our property in Davis. I decided to rent restrooms because I had heard horror stories about septic tanks overflowing back into the house from too many flushes. When my guests found out that there would be rented bathrooms at my wedding they confided in my parents that they did not approve. However, when they arrived they were pleasantly surprised. These aren't just bathrooms, they are Executive Washrooms. They have granite countertops, real flower bouquets, multiple stalls, music playing, and hot and cold water. Kathy and/or Dave stay a comfortable distance from the restrooms the whole time to make sure the bathrooms stay neat and tidy and they keep them stocked with TP. I was a little concerned about the steepness of the stairs, but I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. Everyone kept telling me how much they loved them. The same guests who were complaining about rented bathrooms before the wedding came up to my parents to tell them how impressed they were with the restrooms. Several people came up to me asking how they could rent them. I received just as many compliments about the restrooms as any other part of the wedding, and many people told me that our wedding was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Kathy and Dave were a pleasure to work with. They were constantly smiling. I found their prices to be better than the other restroom rentals in the Sacramento area and they didn't have hidden fees (like a delivery fee and then a set up fee). Since, I live over an hour from their location, I did have to pay a gas fee, but it was expected and reasonable. They delivered and picked up right on time and they were great with communication. I highly recommend hiring these wonderful people and their amazing restrooms. read more

Is it strange that I am leaving a review for a portable washroom company? Sure. Do I regret it? Not one bit. I attended a wedding in Nevada City this weekend and these washrooms were legitimately one of the major talking points. The decor was lovely, the A/C was rejuvenating, the smell was fantastic and the soap and paper towels were very high quality. I've been in a lot of wedding venue port a potties in my day and that's not what this is. This is a luxury washroom fit for a king. read more
