This store is absolutely charming and decorated quiet well. I went into Honey Paperie to speak to the owner regarding a quote for wedding invitations. I showed Stephanie my example that I had and she gave me a quote right on the spot. She was exceedingly nice and personable. Since I was there, I decided to grab balloons for my dogs 10th birthday. The variety of sizes and color options for the balloons is remarkable! Once the first mylar balloon was blown up I was in shock the sheer size of it and was wondered if they would all fit in the car once done. Stephanie was extremely helpful picking out the colors and put together a great bouquet of balloons. Once all 5 balloons were inflated, 2 mylar and 3 latex, I was able to carefully get them into the car. The balloons were a great addition to my dogs birthday photos! I am looking forward to doing more business at this adorable little shop in the future. Oh, regarding the previous review where the balloons didn't stay inflated. I have used Honey Paperie for all of my paper goods and party supplies for years. Stephanie is a gem and so talented when it comes to design. I had her create my 10 year anniversary decor and paperie and also had her do balloons for a baby shower recently - which she so sweetly delivered all the way to downtown for me at the last minute for a very reasonable fee because {who knew!!} mega balloons don't fit in my little SUV {NOTE: this is NOT a service that they offer to my knowledge but I'm a repeat customer of several years and she sensed my desperation and came to the rescue}. My wife stumbled upon this place while taking my Mother in law to the Dr. She was pleasantly surprised with the shop and preceded to pre order 3 balloons for our daughters upcoming Birthday. It was a flamingo and the numbers 1 and 7. Mind you she paid $55 for three balloons. She went a week later the day before our daughters birthday and the lady working inflated them for her right on the spot. When my wife arrived home they were already loosing helium. She called and they were apologetic and said come back and we will add more helium. So back to Lincoln my wife drove and they added more helium. Upon arriving home the second time they seemed ok. Hours later the number one was flat. My wife Called a second time and asked since they do not give refunds only credits, if she could order another number one. By the time the number came in it was several days after our daughters birthday and my wife said now they are all flat, her response was I wish I would have known that I would have reordered the 7 also!! My wife's response was she wished she had gotten them from party city like our older daughters 2 and 1 that lasted 2months before we had to cut and release all the helium!! What a waste of money, stress and my wife's time!! Bottom line stick with big companies that can make it right in time for your event and that can carry a large overhead to replace a mistake quickly. We have our oldest daughters wedding, but no way she is trusting them with that occasion! read more
