I was given a walkthrough and recommendations. As customers came in he made sure to greet and tend to their needs as well. I originally came in with the intention to purchase a red wine to complete a gift this holiday season and left well informed and with an even better wine as well as a few extra items. He even gift bagged the bottles and added a ribbon. The prices were reasonable. The sales table definitely has something for everyone and at the counter they have some fun things to try like the banana cream moonshine I'll be gifting.

I asked them to hold it on the side for me and told them I would be right back, given that I live right around the corner. 10 minutes later I walked in with my ID and the man behind the counter says, "back with your sisters ID?" in a condescending tone and grinned at his coworkers. I responded sternly and put my legal, legitimate, 21+ enhanced license on the counter. It's a shame that this man decided to make this insensitive and belittling comment. There were actually 2 other customers walking in ahead of me when I went. There were quite a few people inside as well and one of the customers actually said out loud "we all have the same idea!" The store itself is not big but a good size. The shelves were all fully stocked. I came looking specifically for the 1800 Ultimate Watermelon & Jalapeno Margarita. They didn't carry any of the ready-to-drink margaritas, only the standard 1800 Silver and Reposado. I ended up getting other bottles. There was a small line when I went to check out but the man & woman (husband & wife?) behind the counter were EFFICIENT! They make a great duo and the line moved quick. They were both very friendly and a few people on line I guess were regulars b/c they were on a first name basis with them. When I went to the counter the woman gave me a compliment on my fit while the guy processed my transaction. Prices are standard with other liquor stores in the area. They don't charge for bags and they packed the bottles securely with cardboard, which I appreciated. My dad has been coming here for over 15 years, he's a regular, they know him well. Young's offers a great selection of international wines and liquors. It's big so there's a lot of diversity and SO MANY OPTIONS! The employees are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable as well. The best perk of coming to Young's, aside from the rewards card, is every Saturday they have a wine tasting. Some weeks it's a smaller selection of wines and vendors, others it's much bigger and every so often they throw in some cheese and crackers to nosh on while you sip! Great neighborhood spot!

California, France, Italy, all neatly lined up under soft green tags, little glass soldiers waiting to march off to somebody's slow death on a Tuesday night. Up front, they've got premixed Margaritas sitting on the polished counter right next to a price tag for two hundred dollar Napa Cabernet. That's the joke of it. A man can come in here with twenty bucks looking to drown the afternoon away on tot gut Old Irish Rose and Thunderbird, or he can drop a week's pay on a label with a fancy crest, and in the end, the hangover feels exactly the same. ​The floors are clean wood, the aisles are wide enough to stumble through without knocking over the Bordeaux, and the glass glints off the ceiling like cheap diamonds. It's too neat, too orderly for the kind of drinking that gets you through a soon to be fall into winter of 2026, but the booze is real, the selection is deep enough to sink a ship, and nobody asks you "hows the family or where are you going tonight" when you hand over the cash. ​It's a good joint.
