Our realtor recommended this company. It was the worst experience we have ever had while closing on a house. There were so many issues. The sellers signed remotely and when we went in to close after about 40 minutes of signing papers they then realized they didn't have the sellers papers. They blamed that on sellers, but the truth is the sellers did not get their paperwork until a few hours before we signed, they had signed, notarized, and overnighted the same day. They then claimed Fed Ex didn't deliver it until three days later. Then they said the lender had sent the wrong amount and they sent it back (three times) In short in took a week before we were funded. Maureen was very unprofessional with the sellers realtor, yelling at her ( she followed her outside to continue yelling at her). Our realtor , our broker, and the sellers realtor were the only reason it didn't take longer as it seemed Executive Title was doing nothing to solve whatever the issue was. Edited to add. It has been 17 days since closing and our Home Warranty Company has not receivced payment yet from Executives Title. read more

Courtney King is the Escrow Officer who I worked with when I bought my house and she is wonderful. She ensured that everything was done correctly and on time and the sale went through without any trouble at all. There was another woman who I also dealt with and unfortunately, my old brain cannot remember her name but she was great as well. As nice as they are unprofessional. Do not let this company bully you into signing something you do not understand. They are unorganized, and over booked. Victoria apologized to us, she said she should have booked more time for us, but didn't realize we would want to read everything before signing. She could not answer all of our questions, and said that the mortgage and lending papers were correct, so the rest of the papers didn't matter. She assured us she was trustworthy and there was nothing bad in the papers we were signing. She encouraged us to sign the papers quickly, and we would have a copy of the papers to take home and read when we had time, and we were welcome to call her if we had questions. I don't know when she would have found time to answer her phone, though, as she told us she had back to back appointments every hour and they had 44 clients that day. It seems like they could have sent us the paperwork earlier to look over beforehand. She got us confused with other clients she had coming in that day, and I believe she was just stressed and trying to get through everyone. She was very nice. But she was unprepared and in a hurry. For someone who has been in the business for over 30 years, I am surprised at her behavior. If you want to get your business done as quickly as possible, this is the place for you! But if you want confidence in what you are signing, and peace of mind that your questions will be answered and you will be treated as a person and not as just a job, then I recommend looking elsewhere. read more

The buyers of our home used this company for closing. The company spelled our name wrong on the disbursement check and our bank would not accept it. My husband took it to their office and they told him our bank should accept it and it would be fine... not the case, he'd already been to the bank. So they begrudgingly said they would issue a new check, for their own mistake. He waited over an hour for the reissued check, while missing work for them to come back and say it wouldn't be anytime soon that they could reissue and he would have to come back the next day, wasting more of his own time. I would absolutely not recommend this company. They need to pay attention to detail, especially when issuing a large check to the wrong names. Extremely unhappy with their service and lack of care. Very unprofessional to have no disregard for others time and money. read more

This was the worst experience of a title company. Very unprofessional! We were recognized and seated by a busy very professional lady at the front desk. She was multitasking because her counter part was running late. Which seems normal. We were seated in a signing room and was told our escrow officer would be in shortly. An hour later our realtor waiting in the lobby called and ask if we were coming to the signing!? All the signing rooms was closed except for ours? No privacy! That wasn't the worst! Who brings a dog to a signing? Who lets a dog walk on the table during a signing? I don't know if it was a service animal, but everyone in the building was petting it! Maybe the dog was buying or selling some property! It had a pen in its mouth! Mabe I was jealous because it had appointment before me! Zero stars!! read more

They collected money from my closing from me to pay off certain credit accounts of mine three of which had to have their checks stopped due to Executive's employees inability to address the envelopes to the proper destinations. (2 of them came to me, eventually, because they sent them to my OLD address instead of my creditors' addresses. (They put the statements in the windowed envelopes backwards.) I had to go back to executive title to get the new checks and mail them myself. One payment has never made it to Best Buy so I had to pay it again in order to not have a late fee, so I ended up paying it twice. I also had to make additional payments on the previous 2 in order to avoid late fees. I now have negative balances on 2 accounts that I will have to make arrangements on to get my money back. What a pain in the ass. Not my first home closing, but by far my WORST. Avoid. read more

Called this company based on Yelp reviews, to try to figure out how to sort out a property deed. The front desk couldn't answer my questions, so instead of dismissing or saying, "I don't know...," she was proactive and transferred me to their legal advisor to discuss. The legal advisor was very helpful with what I should do next, even though it did not require my use of their business at this time. I really appreciate people who are helpful whether it's their job or not, as I tend to be the same way. Thanks to them for their assistance! When I sell my property next year, I will be contacting this company for sure. For comparison, I used Guarantee Abstract when I bought a property last year, and was completely unimpressed. Lame answers, no callbacks (had to get the agent to call them to finally return my calls), bungled information, wrong mailing address submitted, not very friendly. So I am glad to find a good company to replace them! read more

Executives Title has been a nightmare for me to close on a one acre lake lot. Especially if you are a woman, think twice before using this company. They do not want to help and create all kinds of outrageous constraints on closing. If you are a woman with "separate" property acquired long before you were married, then stay away from this firm. The do not get the "valid" versus "marketable" title for buyers of your property. Also, if you use Cadwell Banker as your Realtor they are joined at the hip, and make it difficult to use another title company for closing. I just need to get through the sale of my lot, and I will never use Executives Title or Caldwell Banker ever again for realestate. read more
