Don't go here. Several minor things but they all added up to I will never go here again. 1). [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were 2 parties in the waiting room, myself & one other. I got there first. They took the other party first even tho I said I came in first[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. 2) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Needed to ask the desk a question a couple times - no one sitting at the desk - I could see down the hall - no one. Shouted "hello" - no response[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. 3). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Took a test that they needed to send out to a lab. After 2 weeks I realized they never called with the results. I had to call - they had received the results without calling me[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. 4). I had a co-pay of $5. First they sent a text saying I owed $1.63, then 2 weeks later I get another text that I owe $3.37. They can't send a bill for $5 like every other medial facility!!!?!?!?! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I just had the BEST experience with Nurse Practitioner Kenny and his assistant Kenya.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I made an appointment online last night because I scratched my eye when taking out my contact lens (lame, I know.) My eye was very red and somewhat painful. During my exam, Kenny used a type of dye that he dropped into my eye, then examined it with a blue light. He was able to see a small abrasion and assured me that with use of prescription ointment and eye drops, it would heal in a week. I have relied on Exer since it opened here in Westwood for my urgent care needs and I will continue to do so. read more

Horrible. Was in an accident and provider claims "it's only have a concussion if you lose consciousness. Your headache and nausea from hitting your head isn't a concussion because you didn't pass out". As someone who also works in the medical field this is entirely false and most people don't lose consciousness when they get a concussion but I was not about to sit there and argue.[[HIGHLIGHT]] What tf? She was nice but so focused on the fact that I'm "young and obviously workout" so I must be fine, even though I was in a lot of pain with an obvious c[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]oncussion. How much I exercise usually has nothing to do with the fact I was involved in accident that day? Update: Not only did other providers laugh when I told them what was said, I was immediately diagnosed with a concussion. I really hate to say this but the PA was inefficient and sadly incompetent with a basic urgent care matter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The MA who answered the phone on 10/15/2025 around 6PM had no business acting rude and providing information like she was a medical provider.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, this is the case for most understaffed, underpaid, and overworked urgent care staff. Exer is really no better than any other run of the mill urgent care. They're cutting corners to churn a profit and it shows. If you are choosing between urgent care centers in the area, just go with a smaller privately owned one if possible. You'll likely still get subpar care but at least it's going towards someone in that community rather than another group of investors and healthcare oligopolies. UCLA immediate care is also a much better option if possible. read more

The last and only time I came to the Westwood Exer I brought my 93 years old mother who was feeling faint and dizzy. When I arrived I asked how long the wait was going to be. The receptionist responded 15 minutes. The lady sitting next to me said she had been waiting for over two hours. I quizzed the other people waiting. They each had been waiting for quite some time. I returned to the receptionist and asked for a more accurate estimated waiting time. With a straight face she again said 15 minutes. I went in due to illness. I was tested positive for the flu. The doctor gave me a doctor's note that stated I can return to work in 6 days because im contagious and needed time to recover. However, the doctor did not provide sufficient details on his doctor's note that led to my employer not accepting my FMLA claim. When I returned to have them fill out Health Certificate Form provided by my employer, they said it had to filled by my physician or pay for check up and 50% chance the clinic will fill it out. Either way I'd be out $100+ to just to maybe get my form signed and not be at risk of losing employment. They have really made this process hard and feel for others dealing with the same issue. I'm disappointed in clinics not take responsibility and then trying to take more money. Exer Urgent Care - Westwood is no longer a place I can trust and I caution anyone going here to keep them accountable on the spot. Soon as you leave, they will charge you more even if there error. I have always gone to urgent care places for basic medical emergencies or other health issues, flu test, minor injuries, UTI's, etc. And more often than not they have been really helpful, especially since trying to get a Dr.'s appointment for something minor is impossible. But this location has really let me down to the point that I will be avoiding it as much as possible and probably will go to a different urgent care company. It has been over 5 days to get my results for a basic UTI test. And when they said it will be back Monday, the official is closed for some office holiday. What holiday is December 8th? I don't think this office should be celebrating anything. So it will be 6 days to get a basic culture back. Even though I can see some results through the portal, I have no idea what I am reading and if they will not even post the culture results because the Dr. has to go over it with you. They told me they are having some "issues" with the lab (Health Tracks) they send out tests to so who knows what that means. Maybe that lab just keeps pushing Westwood Urgent Care's test results to the bottom everyday? Whatever the case is, I actually had to go in to see them 2x because I was in so much pain and I was just begging for some kind of antibiotic. Not sure why they did not do that the first time. After I kept calling, they told me they were really busy so I should call another Exer and see if their Dr. on call can look at my chart and read the basic urine analysis that I got back and ask for medication. I was skeptical that that would work and it definitely did NOT. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The woman at the other location was extremely confused as to why they recommended doing that and said I would have to go into their office to get any medication.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So when I called back the original location and told them the other office would in no way do that, I asked why the Dr. that I saw originally could not just look at it and give me medication, like I was told to do at the other location, and nope[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. They can't do that and I would have to go back in, pay for a second visit and probably tests in order for them to just give me a general antibiotic. After crying in pain and being extremely frustrated and very hesitant, I went back to the same place just to get some relief. This started on a Wednesday, I went back on Saturday night and on Monday they are closed all day for an office holiday party. [[HIGHLIGHT]]OMG if I was not in so much pain and being extremely desperate I was still polite because it is not the front office people's fault, they were trying to help as much as they could.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the 2 different Dr.'s I saw were both great so I really hate to give them a bad review but it was a horrible experience. I do understand how disagreements with certain companies occur but they should really go to Lab Core or Quest, who really have a majority of the testing and blood drawing business. Hands down the most unprofessional, incompetent urgent care I've ever stepped foot in. I had an appointment for a simple blood test and still sat in the lobby for a full 45 minutes. The "assistant nurse" missed my vein THREE times which left bleeding and with three bandaids. He left to talk to the doctor and came back inside to tell me to go to Quest after wasting an hour and a half of my day. I checked online yesterday and it said there were 0 persons ahead of me. I went in and literally no one else came in. When my name was called, I was brought into the room and literally left there for an hour with zero communication. I assumed that someone else came in with a worse injury, which I could totally understand. Finally, I walked out and saw two people sitting at their desks facing each other and having a conversation. I didn't want to engage because I was so annoyed. They simply told me to "have a good day". I left and called them later and told them I wanted my $25 co pay back. CAMERON, ARAGHI is the worst MD I have ever seen, went in for difficultly breathing and he tried to tell me it's just " whooping cough" I know for sure I don't have whooping cough cause there would be different symptoms. He refused to give me any breathing treatment. I told him that my chest feels tight and all he did was do a swab test. They don't have to do it, and there is no effort to isolate them from everyone else waiting in the fully packed waiting room , with or without a mask. Why did I drop their rating from five stars to only one star? Here's why: -More than 2 hour wait! Insane line. Exer, please hire more people. Maybe set up testing stations outside. Do what you need to do, just do better than this. - Took 5 days to get the results (PCR test for Covid-19) - They have a problem with their portal. They called me and told me the results came back negative but I needed it in print for work. They told me the have a problem with their online portal and that they can mail it to me. When I asked if they can email it to me, they said no. How ridiculous! I had to drive there again and physically ask for my results in print. I wasn't allowed back to work without it. So if you need the results for your work, just know that you will have to come here again and get them. I don't understand why they won't fix their online portal. read more

I had some decent experiences here during covid. However, late October I had a nasty fingertip laceration that wouldn't stop bleeding. Luckily nobody was waiting so I got right in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nervous looking Asian "doctor" who didn't formally introduce himself, decided the wound needed to be cauterized and my finger first numbed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This sounded reasonable. However, he pulled out a long Lidocaine syringe and began jabbing the very end of my finger like a pin cushion over and over, pushing in more and more Lidocaine, and making my fingertip blow up like a tomato. He performed the wound care and I was discharged. I was later told by a medical professional the proper way to numb a finger is to inject lidocaine at the base. It is pretty outrageous to have a staff member put a needle in someone who does not know what they are doing. I experienced a nasty blister a couple of days later at the injection site that had to be treated. Weeks later the end of my finger is still red, puffy and very tender and uncomfortable and I am hoping he did not do permanent damage to my finger. I am really angry over this. These urgent care places can be useful but clearly the level of proper medical care you are going to get is subject to question. read more

Avoid this urgent care center. I took my mom for evaluation who could not drive herself. We waited about 30 minutes to see the doctor with 1 person ahead. The doctor walked in, did not introduce himself, quickly checked my moms ears and glanced at her throat and declared she needs antibiotics even before he did any tests because she had a cough for about a month. All of this time he spent about 3 minutes evaluating my mom before exiting and ordering a swab. If this so called doctor is representative of who they hire to staff their urgent care, avoid this place. read more

I brought my daughter in today for a broken thumb. This Exer did not have an x ray machine but Makayla at the front desk was so amazing. She called around to many urgent cares to see which one had a x ray and tech and even helped us check in. So rare these days that people go the extra mile. Especially in a Friday afternoon. Turns out Aaron Lee the PA didn't have the skills or knowledge to help me. They did give me my money back but not before the PA got defensive and said I was asking all the wrong questions. I asked the PA 1. Does this Chalazion on my eyelid look infected? 2. Can you drain it? 3. Can you help me? Or refer me to a specialist. He was so defensive and had a terrible manner about him. URGENT CARE WITHOUT THE URGENCY!! SLOWER THAN MOLASSES!! Honestly I've been to this urgent care a few times and have had the same experience every time so I don't feel bad leaving this review. With only 1 person ahead of me on most visits I've had to wait approximately 1.5 hours just to be seen. Imagine if they had a full lobby of patients waiting...then you're left in a room waiting for 40 minutes to be seen by the doctor after the PA checked you in. This is a 3 hour minimum experience and the amount of incompetence is mind-boggling regardless of everyone being polite and respectful. I thought maybe they are understaffed but there are several workers lounging around. I've been told doctors are going on break multiple times (not around lunch time) regardless of patients that are waiting. The more customers you see, the more money you make...seems like no one wants to work around here! read more

I have never experienced such incompetence in my life. My blood work came back inconclusive on one thing. I called and the front desk person said just come back and we can take more blood. I went in on a Monday and David ( lovely and give him 5 stars) took my blood. Left and my doctor called me saying they still dont have this test and that exercare has nothing showing a second visit. I called and got Jose who I'm not sure has any customer service job because he lacks everything in anyone I would hire. He said we have no record. Then says oh yeah we have record. Then says it wasn't a real visit. What does that even mean? Then I tried explaining what happened and the man kept interrupting me. Wouldn't let me speak. I'm with my coworkers who were like what is wrong with this guy he isn't letting you speak Then he tells me they never sent off the blood work. I'm like what happened to my blood then? Then keeps saying it wasn't a real visit. Again, I gave blood so it was very real to me. After much unnecessary back and forth he says it went off and it will take 5-7 days. I'm like wait? So you sent off my blood? You told me you didn't. Then says I never said that. Gaslight much? I asked to speak to a manager and he was super rude and said he is not here. Okay Jose. Instead of trying to interrupt/mansplain and tell me a visit that I gave blood wasn't real take a seat. You shouldn't be in customer service you were very rude and unprofessional.
