Unsafe use of needles! My visit to EXER Urgent Care Beverly Hills felt far more focused on selling tests than providing medical care. I was pressured to approve multiple diagnostics before even speaking with a physician, then waited nearly an hour in a freezing exam room despite having an appointment and only a few patients present. When the doctor finally came in, I was seen briefly and reprimanded for declining the very tests staff had been pushing from the start, which the doctor agreed would not have been necessary. The doctor refused to look at anything I asked her to and walked out. The clinic itself was dirty, dark, poorly maintained, and the attempted blood draw by an inexperienced technician left me genuinely feeling unsafe. I was also blatantly lied to by the doctor about lab turnaround times once I consented to proper testing. Overall, this experience felt transactional rather than medical. I would strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere. Go literally anywhere else. read more

This is my all time favorite urgent care until I experience a negative experience due to an emergency. The urgent care is in my neighborhood eight minutes away from my home. I usually see the main doctor that's there which is wonderful on this particular visit. I saw Sandra Ovadia PA I guess PA stands for personal assistant, which he clearly was. She wasn't helpful whatsoever. I came over on an emergency basis after looking at my finger and my itching she prescribed no medication. She was a waste of my time. I waited in the waiting room and waited for the doctor to be seen after seeing her. It was a complete disappointment and far different from how I'm usually treated. Of course the the issue persistent from not receiving any medication whatsoever the staff is always wonderful and great if they do have you to be seen by Sandra I would definitely pass. She will not help you whatsoever nor prescribe any medication to make you feel better so I had to leave in pain with no prescriptions. Dr Darabi is great. The management is terrible. Expect to wait at least an hour to be seen with an arbitrary schedule of staff doing nothing up front when you're the first and only person in line. This place cares more about reviews and making money off patients. About a month ago I went in for a visit due to one concern. I requested a follow up by a phone call and was told that it was too long since the last visit which I should come by in again just for a follow up which was for a simple question. Then, I came by for the office visit. First in line, filled in the application to be seen, which I didn't see anyone ahead of me in line to be seen by the doctor. Pretty ridiculous. After a long wait to be seen, the staff was rushing the doctor who I had medical questions related to my visit incomplete. You make me wait for that long only to have the doctor rush to the next patient without addressing all my needs? That's terrible management. Next, I followed by phone call for a follow up related to a visit made a couple of days beforehand. I was told by the staff that the doctor should reach out to me within the next half hour which the doctor never did. Very unprofessional. Unorganized staff. Wait time is terrible. There used to be a time when nobody would answer calls. Glad that phone call issue was addressed, but won't recommend this clinic if you're in a hurry or want your concerns addressed professionally without the staff intervening while you're seeking medical advice during an office visit with the doctor. The nurse was great. When I arrived there was no front staff for about 12 minutes. When the front desk staff did arrive they seemed bothered, tired and not motivated to be there at all. I asked simple questions and it didn't even seem like they wanted to answer the questions. Not friendly whatsoever. Bothered, maybe didn't want to be there on a Saturday. I have never experienced a staff in willing to help I mean that's your role is to feel the client/patient feel welcomed to were they might seek treatment. I used to think this urgent care was okay, but my visit in December '24 was an absolute nightmare. I was already struggling with a severe respiratory issue (with symptoms similar to whooping cough), and instead of helping, the nurse almost choked me to death by carelessly swabbing my throat with such poor technique that it triggered an uncontrollable coughing fit. I coughed so violently that I nearly passed out. A couple of days later, I had to go to another ER, where their nurse performed the same test properly--and surprise, it didn't make me gag or struggle to breathe. Clearly, the nurse at Exer did it completely wrong. The doctor was no better--flighty, uninterested, and dismissive. Instead of making any real effort to diagnose me, she just threw an antibiotic at me and sent me on my way (which I had to stop taking after the correct diagnoses). If that wasn't bad enough, they completely messed up my insurance claim. At check-in, they claimed my insurance was inactive and charged me in full. Flabbergasted, I immediately called my insurance agent, who confirmed that my coverage was 100% active. Clearly, whoever submitted my insurance was incompetent. I contacted their billing department right away, and they told me they'd submit the claim, but it would take up to 45 days to process. But when I called after that time had passed, they lied and claimed my insurance hadn't paid them yet, so they couldn't issue a refund. Frustrated, I finally called my insurance company myself, and guess what? Exer NEVER submitted a claim in the first place! So now, after two months of waiting, I have to restart the entire process and wait another 45 days just to get my money back. This place is a disaster--both in patient care and billing. Avoid it at all costs! Incompetent staff, careless medical procedures, and a completely dysfunctional billing system. I would never trust them with my health or my money again. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Extremely Disappointing Experience I used to come to this Urgent Care in Beverly Hills and really enjoyed the service, but after my recent visit, I'm not sure what's going on with this place. It's clear that it's become extremely mismanaged. I had an appointment and arrived on time, only to wait almost 2 hours just to be seen and treated - and most of that was in the exam room. There were no other patients ahead of me, so the delay made absolutely no sense. Once I finally got into the room, I waited another hour--a total of almost three hours at this point! I ultimately had to push to leave because I couldn't waste any more of my time sitting around. To make matters worse, Dr. Darabi, who was supposed to see me, was just hanging out in her office instead of attending to patients. I heard her talking on the phone having a social call (the walls are thin). The lack of professionalism and urgency was astonishing. This was a far cry from the efficient and pleasant experiences I've had here in the past. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place anymore until some serious changes are made. If you're looking for timely and professional care, I suggest going elsewhere. read more

Came to this Exer location because my child's school specifically said they had a promotion with Exer to give a sports physical at no charge. I just needed to book an appointment on-line which I did, but when we showed up, staff first said her school wasn't on their list, then they said I didn't use the "special QR code" (we were only given the regular Exer QR code) so we'd have to pay. I assumed they offered this special promotion as a way to introduce their services and get new customers for a future visit. We live close by this Exer, and I would have made this my new urgent care, but now after this experience I'd never bring any of my family members here. STRONGLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Was immediately told upon checking in by the ride Dr. Shalom that he has no tools to exam eyes and he will not be issuing a refund. (WTH does a refund have to do with anything. Is it even possible to refund a copay. Anyway weird thing to say. Definitely felt racially profiled. )That was his greeting immediately after checking in with the admin. Like completely interrupted what the young lady was saying and started with that. Not hello. Not what's wrong with your eye. Not sorry you're not feeling well. I was really surprised he's a Dr. very embarrassing for Excer to have someone like that working with them. He was Cold, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude throughout the entire visit. It definitely felt like he didn't want to help. I barely got two steps in the door and that is what I was greeted with. There was absolutely no one there .. the system even said that I was the one & only one there when I checked in virtually and it still took this guy 20 minutes to come in the room. As I'm waiting for discharge papers that took another 15 minutes while I sit there and listen to him and the girls in the front talk about snacks. Just very unprofessional. It was a 1 hr, 5 min wait time because there's only one doctor here. I came in with the flu, coughing everywhere, and when I left, they did not sanitize the chair where I was sitting! Her staff is rude. No one told me how to take the medication, so I asked Anthony, her staff member. He told me to go to the pharmacy to find out! Then he wouldn't tell me which pharmacy my medication was at. Lastly, she prescribed Tamiflu, yet didn't bother to tell me it has a black box warning label. Would not recommend this place. read more

The Robertson Exer urgent care, (especially Dr Darabi) is the best in town. I have had multiple visits from colds to having a ring removed off my finger that was super tight. The wait times have never been longer than an hour and the staff is so very helpful. No one wants to go to urgent care but the experience here is first class. First time at the new location. Used to go to Beverly Hills Urgent Care (down the street) for my annual check-up. Was sick as a dog. 103 fever I couldn't beat. I was worn down. Arrived at about 4:50 on a Saturday afternoon. They use an online intake form, which must be difficult for seniors. (The receptionist did offer help if I needed it.) There always seems to be a wait in these places, even if your second in line. Was called in around 6. My vitals were taken a few minutes later. The provider (who might be an NP) was Darabi. Told her what was going on, she took some tests, figured out what was up, and she got to work. Darabi doesn't play. Her goal is to make you feel better. She gave me two shots and four scripts (which she called in and I picked up a couple of hours later from a neighborhood pharmacy). I immediately felt better. My fever never went above 100 after our visit. She called me the following day with more test results and advice. I've never been this sick, and I still need time to recoup. But Darabi had a profound, positive effect on my health. I have a PCP, who I see for my annual physical, but when I get SICK, I'm going back to Darabi. read more

I came in to this facility on Wednesday, the doctor swabbed my throat and told me the results would be available the following day or latest by Friday and she would give me a call with the results by Friday. I called them Thursday, they told me the results were still pending, I called them on Friday and the receptionist said that the results are in, but the doctor is not in and will not be in all day so I cannot be prescribed anything until the doctor comes back to work the following week. I've been extremely sick for 5 days, coughing, hacking and fever, unable to sleep. sinus headaches, body aches, chills and all I need is a fucking Z pack, but these morons don't give a shit. Horrible place, don't waste your time or money. Complete negligent malpractice. Dr. Nadereh Darabi is amazing I wish could be my primary care physician . This urgent care is spotless clean, well maintained, the staff is helpful, professional and friendly. Only downfall is the check in process online is usually not effective due to Wi-Fi so you will likely have to manually fill out a few forms nevertheless easy peasy for what you get in return. I call before coming and confirm they're open and able to see me. So I drive over and walk in last night around 5:30pm. They confirm again they'll be able to see me before closing by 8pm. They ask me to scan a QR code and fill out a labor-intensive intake form including taking photos of IDs and insurance card, etc. I get to the end of that process and wait. And wait. And I ask and they say to wait. Then at 7pm, the front desk attendant walks out and tells me I won't be seen after all. The doctor suddenly has to leave. I'm annoyed to say the least and wonder why they asked me to wait around. I come in the NEXT afternoon around 5pm when I'm able to be there. I am told they are closed "for lunch" at 5pm until 7pm. Yes, for LUNCH at 5pm until 7pm. They CLOSE at 8pm. Does this smell fishy to anyone else? It's not just BIZARRELY bad customer service, it is borderline criminal Why even have an "urgent" care center that is not open for almost 20% of the hours it claims to be open? Why have lunch in the evening? Why have it for two hours? And then close one hour later? Why collect clients' information and IDs and have them sit around for 90 minutes only to then REFUSE to see them after making them wait and jump through your hoops? If it's not criminal, it's definitely the worst. The absolute worst. read more

I went in for a check up after having a sore throat, and before they ran any tests, I confirmed several times that what they were about to do would be covered by my insurance. Without my consent, they ran tests and charged my insurance for tests that I did not agree to. Now, they are trying to contact me several years later to collect. I've asked a few times if they could tell me exactly which tests were run, and who consented to them, and each time they aren't able to give me a direct response. This place is shady, and I would never trust them again. They only have their best interest in mind, not the patients'. read more

Extremely long wait time. My total visit time was over 2 hours. Went in for a urinalysis which I thought would be quick but in between waiting and being called to the back to only wait equally as long for the doctor to come speak with me..definitely plan to be here a while if you don't have an appointment and to fill up your parking meter extra! I had to step out to add extra time to my meter. I was told I would have my results in 2-3 days and that I would receive a call. On day 6, I had to call the office myself to get the results. Not that packed and waited an 1.5 hours in the waiting room and after complaining they moved me to a treatment room and left me waiting there for another 40 minutes.
