While I suspect they were short-staffed that day, patients visit urgent care because they genuinely need a doctor, so I find this kind of treatment appalling. The experience left me worried that I might be turned away again if I visit while sick; if they aren't going to see me, I would appreciate being informed of that beforehand.

Also they have papers in their lobby with information for people who are planning to pay everything out of pocket. I have Kaiser insurance and i didnt want to go to their urgent care since it would take hours to get seen.

During my exam, Kenny used a type of dye that he dropped into my eye, then examined it with a blue light. He was able to see a small abrasion and assured me that with use of prescription ointment and eye drops, it would heal in a week. I have relied on Exer since it opened here in Westwood for my urgent care needs and I will continue to do so.

I had been sick for 4 or 5 days with fever over 100 that wouldn't go away, heavy coughing with lots of discharge, sore throat (felt like razorblades in my throat), severe headaches, night sweats, etc. Much of this seemed like old news from my previous bouts with Covid but 2 days in I started to get pink eye in both eyes, which progressively got much worse producing puss so that when I woke up in the morning my eyes were "glued" shut - and that was the warning sign that I needed to go see a doctor! I thought I had Covid based on the way I felt the past few times I've had it, but I took a few home tests that all came back negative and negative for flu A & B. My doctor's office (Optum Healthcare) suggested that I go in to urgent care to get a diagnosis since it was late afternoon on Friday so I went in the next day on Saturday. Endure Urgent Care was the first on their list in my area that was on their list so I Yelped them and saw their glowing 4.5 stars so I knew it was my best bet. Note: They have free parking on the roof. I was imagining 3-4 hour waits that I've experienced at other urgent care facilities so I called Endure to see how long their wait time was (early afternoon on Sat) and she said the current wait time was about 15 mins...wait, WHAT!!? It sounded like you said 15 minutes... She said that's correct. So I hurried over and there was only one other person in the waiting room who got called back right after I got there. The first thing I noticed was how clean and nice the waiting room is. Also, the 2 girls behind the desk both were very friendly and genuinely seemed like they wanted to help me. (Most other urgent care places I have been to are overwhelmed, rushed and you are just another number they have to get through to finish their already stressful & busy day - but that was not the vibe here at all!) To fill out your paperwork they have you scan a QR and do it on your own phone so you don't have to touch pens, clipboards or paper that another sick person may have touched. It took about 10 minutes to fill it out and get my insurance cards scanned and sure enough, within 15 mins of walking in the door - incredible! The nurse that took me back got my vitals and had me describe my symptoms. She immediately had me swab my nose for Covid, Flu & RSV and swabbed my tonsils to test for Strep Throat. 15 mins later someone came to get me for a series of chest X-rays. After those were done they took me back to my room where I waited probably another 15 minutes and the doctor came in and told me that I had severe pneumonia. I couldn't believe it - I've never had pneumonia before, but man it sure does hurt...a LOT!! He said he was calling me in 2 different antibioiotics, anti-microbial drops for the pink eye and something for my cough. Cover to cover I was in there around an hour! Unbelievable - from walking in the door to having a diagnosis and a prescription in hand only took an hour!! I can't mention how precious time is when you are so sick - and the staff at Endure Urgent Care definitely understands this. They couldn't have been more professional, friendly, and prompt and for that I am so grateful! It has now been 5 days since I went in and the antibiotics have had time to do their thing and so have the eye drops. I'm happy to report that I am feeling exponentially better. I'm still coughing a bit but I have had a few really good nights of sleep and my fever is almost completely gone. One of the antibiotic prescriptions will take a few more days to finish the prescription but I feel so much better. My eyes are also back to their normal color and still itch a bit but I'm still using the drops until it's finished. I can't say enough good things about Endure Urgent Care, but if you are as sick as I was and you need an urgent care to be professional, friendly and prompt with their care then look no further than Endure Urgent Care!! - 5 Stars!!!

Usually i dont like that. But today I'm again seeing another thing which is people going about their jobs and filtering out the unnecessary disturbances that are bombarding the place! The yop of the list is slamming of DOORS! In many offices here at 200, no one says anything when a door literally shakes their desk and slams like a bomb. In the quiet waiting area with ppl whispering, it's literally plus 60-70db over ambient. Thats equivalent to someone turning on a stereo full volume by accident. It can happen 5-10 times in one minute as it's a busy place. And you jump! Simple detail adjust door closer with a Phillips screwdriver in like one minute. I have been coming to this building for 14 years and its the same! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL. Maint you should be ashamed of your lazy asses. Admin, If you arent noticing this, you are not concerned with patients. Apparently, doctors techs researchers receptionists being able to concentrate is not high on the list here at UCLA. They have most of us well trained as customers: to expect bad service. update 8/25: I wrote the above between the first and 2nd half of my appointment 8/24/26. Who are the People giving you #1 in California, what authority do they have to say that, and what are they looking at when they do? Just another company making money. Incidentally on my visit yesterday, to illustrate what i said above about not getting full explanations, i was told by the tech that there were 3 scans in the process not 2, as various doctors had told me, and that I could do only the first. The tech explained that if i didn't do the 2nd hour scans (he says i was only approved NOT to do one of 3 scans, the cat scan, and leave out the cat scan, and i was supposed to do a 2nd scan i didn't know about. I had been told catscan was the only scan in addition to the first, so they were planning to do 2 MORE, and i had to stay for the 2nd hour anyway to do 1 of the 2. I said, if they need the catscan later, they will have to inject radioactive dye again, right? 'yes' he said. So I said, just do all 3 scans. i think the injection is more concerning than the xrays. So he prooceeded to do all the scans AND THERE WERE FOUR SCANS NOT THREE!!!! What is so f'ing hard about explaining what you are f'ing doing? I want to understand it the way YOU understand it. Not a Gong Show version. Not professional.

I was headed to Pauley Pavilion for the NCAA Volleyball game and struggled with a place to eat…read moreclose by. There was plenty in walking distance, but didn't find anything I really wanted. And to make matters more difficult, the drive into LA was long...and I had to use the bathroom...eek! As I walked to the busy food area, I walked passed the medical center and figured....they should have a bathroom. And they did! Solving my first problem and ready to eat, I was exiting but walked passed the busy in-house cafeteria. Wow was it busy! I was here...so I decided to check it out...and it was fantastic. There were many food stations and everything being made to order. Why walk down to the populated busy food area when there are wonderful options so close by! There were almost too many options...but I decided on the tostada salad. I got it loaded with beans, chicken, lettuce, cheese, olives, green onion, and pico...all on top of a baked shell. It was very delicious and as a combo, it came with a medium drink...which all totaled about eleven dollars. If I need to go to Pauley Pavilion again...I will stop here for sure!
