This was one of the best urgent care visits I've ever had...and nobody gets to urgent care on a winning lottery ticket! I had been sick for 4 or 5 days with fever over 100 that wouldn't go away, heavy coughing with lots of discharge, sore throat (felt like razorblades in my throat), severe headaches, night sweats, etc. Much of this seemed like old news from my previous bouts with Covid but 2 days in I started to get pink eye in both eyes, which progressively got much worse producing puss so that when I woke up in the morning my eyes were "glued" shut - and that was the warning sign that I needed to go see a doctor! I thought I had Covid based on the way I felt the past few times I've had it, but I took a few home tests that all came back negative and negative for flu A & B. My doctor's office (Optum Healthcare) suggested that I go in to urgent care to get a diagnosis since it was late afternoon on Friday so I went in the next day on Saturday. Endure Urgent Care was the first on their list in my area that was on their list so I Yelped them and saw their glowing 4.5 stars so I knew it was my best bet. Note: They have free parking on the roof. I was imagining 3-4 hour waits that I've experienced at other urgent care facilities so I called Endure to see how long their wait time was (early afternoon on Sat) and she said the current wait time was about 15 mins...wait, WHAT!!? It sounded like you said 15 minutes... She said that's correct. So I hurried over and there was only one other person in the waiting room who got called back right after I got there. The first thing I noticed was how clean and nice the waiting room is. Also, the 2 girls behind the desk both were very friendly and genuinely seemed like they wanted to help me. (Most other urgent care places I have been to are overwhelmed, rushed and you are just another number they have to get through to finish their already stressful & busy day - but that was not the vibe here at all!) To fill out your paperwork they have you scan a QR and do it on your own phone so you don't have to touch pens, clipboards or paper that another sick person may have touched. It took about 10 minutes to fill it out and get my insurance cards scanned and sure enough, within 15 mins of walking in the door - incredible! The nurse that took me back got my vitals and had me describe my symptoms. She immediately had me swab my nose for Covid, Flu & RSV and swabbed my tonsils to test for Strep Throat. 15 mins later someone came to get me for a series of chest X-rays. After those were done they took me back to my room where I waited probably another 15 minutes and the doctor came in and told me that I had severe pneumonia. I couldn't believe it - I've never had pneumonia before, but man it sure does hurt...a LOT!! He said he was calling me in 2 different antibioiotics, anti-microbial drops for the pink eye and something for my cough. Cover to cover I was in there around an hour! Unbelievable - from walking in the door to having a diagnosis and a prescription in hand only took an hour!! I can't mention how precious time is when you are so sick - and the staff at Endure Urgent Care definitely understands this. They couldn't have been more professional, friendly, and prompt and for that I am so grateful! It has now been 5 days since I went in and the antibiotics have had time to do their thing and so have the eye drops. I'm happy to report that I am feeling exponentially better. I'm still coughing a bit but I have had a few really good nights of sleep and my fever is almost completely gone. One of the antibiotic prescriptions will take a few more days to finish the prescription but I feel so much better. My eyes are also back to their normal color and still itch a bit but I'm still using the drops until it's finished. I can't say enough good things about Endure Urgent Care, but if you are as sick as I was and you need an urgent care to be professional, friendly and prompt with their care then look no further than Endure Urgent Care!! - 5 Stars!!!

I walked in on a Saturday morning at 8am, as soon as they opened. I walked to the front counter, and the front desk staff Vivian instructed me to scan the QR code. No good morning. No pleasantry. No smile. SMH. I had 3 interactions with her, all of them unpleasant. I observed her interactions with her coworkers as well. Either she's just not friendly or dislikes working with people. The establishment is very clean, and nicely furnished. The registration process was quite seamless, if you are technologically inclined. Shortly after that, I was called in and vitals taken by medical assistant Jackie. She was warm, engaging and kind. Sweet girl. Once seated in the exam room, the doctor came in and discussed the purpose of my visit and advised they would take some X-rays for further evaluation. Next, Technician Javon escorted me to the x-ray room and proceeded to take X-rays of my injured body part. He was very pleasant, gentle with my injured body part, thorough and patient. Once he finished, he escorted me back to my designated room. The doctor came in again to go over the results. He had great bedside manners, listened to my concerns, very knowledgeable and had great energy. Everyone here was so pleasant and kind EXCEPT the front desk attendant. The first person you encounter at ANY business should be kind and have good customer service skills. People can be annoying, I get it; however, she seems like she hates her job and if you don't like dealing with people, maybe you should go work behind the scene somewhere. It was a really good urgent care experience. I wanted to give them 5 stars, but I had to take off one for that front desk attendant.

Quick, effective, and very professional services offered here! I got in and out within less than an hour. The staff was kind and they answered all of my questions whether it was dealing with my insurance, or what my check up was about. The doctor explained everything thoroughly which made me feel comfortable and the medical assistants tied the entire experience together. You always hear horror stories about urgent cares but this spot was definitely one you should utilize! Sandy was the best!

This location in particular is super popular, near the beach, the big shot Playa Vista community, the movies, etc. As a result, many tech and entertainment people go out of their way to come to this location. And while they take walk-ins, I'd highly recommend making an appointment online or you just might come in and get caught up doing a whole lot of people watching before your name is called. Lol The CSA of this experience (and to be quite honest multiple visits here) beyond a shadow of a doubt was Ms. Olga-who is essentially a super nice and kind gatekeeper here. With the current arrangement (and this is going back perhaps even a year or two now-maybe longer), you simply can't get to the lab without her greenlight. So try to bring a smile along with you as she'll certainly have one or two ready for you! Olga is a credit to building management as a whole, and to LabCorp as well!

The phlebotomist, dark haired short, late thirties, early forties, came up to me, with a smile and informed me or said, "did your doctor give you this kit on June 12". I said no. I never seen my doctor on the 12th of June. The phlebotomist gave me this kit that test ,to see if you have blood in your stool. She conducted this conversation in the middle of the room with six or eight people behind me. I felt pretty awkward and embarrassed. She could have taken me in one of the cubicles to withdrawn my blood and discuss the function of this kit. Instead, she took the next person in line and I waited for another phlebotomist to withdrawal my blood. The first phlebotomist professionalism and etiquette was awful.

I went vegetarian, vegan and then raw vegan. I did the liver cleanse, kidney cleanse, spleen cleanse and on and on it went. I did a 10-day Master cleanse and lost 15 pounds of muscle. I did a water cleanse where all I did was drink water. The more cleanses I tried, it seemed the worse I felt. I went up and down in weight and still continued to feel progressively less healthy. The culmination of my obsession was going raw vegan for a year in which my diet consisted of a fruit smoothie in the morning and a green smoothie at night. My raw vegan diet ended with me having a full-out breakdown in the produce section at Whole Foods. I was muscle testing a lemon and I spontaneously broke into tears. I dropped the lemon, walked directly back to the meat counter and bought a filet mignon. That was the end of my raw vegan days. I was confused. I felt drained. I had no energy. I started having a hard time remembering things. I was depressed and I was seriously stressed out! I now realize that I had gotten to a place of resignation about life. I knew I was dying and I had become ok with it. After all of this "running the hamster wheel", I found out about the hair mineral analysis through a nutritionist friend of mine. Believing that I was an expert on all things health, I was really surprised that I had never heard of this process. I met Eva Vennari at S.E.L.F. Nutrition and she gave me an overview of the hair mineral analysis and nutritional balancing program. I learned how mineral ratios in the body reveal how the body responds to stress. She also described how the body compensates for the low mineral ratio by holding onto toxic metals like copper, aluminum and mercury which seriously damage the body. Eva explained how balancing the minerals in my body would allow me to get rid of the toxic metals, get my energy back and be more relaxed. It was really easy to do the test. Eva sent me a hair test kit. I cut off a few hairs, put them in an envelope and sent them to the lab. My results came back in a week along with a very detailed interpretation from Eva during my one hour consultation on the test results and plan of action. That phone call changed my life. I finally know the truth. I learned that I am a slow oxidizer, which means I metabolized my food slower than what my body requires for optimal energy levels to perform basic body functions. I learned that I am in adrenal and thyroid burnout because my digestion was poor. Now I understood why I had been feeling fatigue, sugar cravings, low body temperature, irritability and depression. The other thing that really alarmed me was that I was in the most dangerous, 3rd stage of stress - the exhaustion stage. This occurs when the body no longer has the energy to contain the stress and is in a holding pattern to prevent further decline in health. It was also no surprise that I was very high in copper, aluminum and dangerously high in mercury. My body was at the beginning stages of the death spiral. Eva assured me that these conditions are common for many people in our stressed-out culture today. She explained that with some basic lifestyle modifications and fortifying the body with some essential vitamins and minerals, I would gradually be feeling better and have more energy. Now that I am on the program, I am experiencing way higher levels of energy. I am feeling more vitality and more relaxed. I am sleeping better and being nicer to people. I am finding it easier to deal with normal every day life. I used to be afraid that I was dying and that there was nothing I could do about it. Now I know that it is up to me and I have a program to follow that will bring my body into balance and have me able to live life the way I want to. I highly recommend calling Eva and getting the hair test done so that you know the truth - the science of what is happening in your body so that you can do the things that will actually improve your health!
