I was very nervous about coming to this urgent care due to the reviews, but I actually had a wonderful experience. The nurse that brought me in was so kind and the physician was even better. I believe she was a PA and her name might've been Melanie or Melissa something with an M but she took the time to listen to my concerns and helped me in many ways. The front office people are very nice but i agree with some of the other comments the care is almost non existent. I have an injury, I let them know when I checked in, it was on the check in stuff they make you do. It's and hour and 15 mins before I'm brought to a room (the automated system said I was next for like 30 minutes) then 20 minutes to see the provider, who looked at my leg said we should get X-rays, then they come in and tell me the X-ray people are on lunch for an hour. As I'm leaving they said the X-ray tech will be back at 1. At 1:20 I left and at 1:30 they called me The won't refund my co pay The people are nice but it really feels like you're left floating there a lot I went to another urgent care and was seen immediately and the next place said that they had heard people were not happy with Exer Also parking is atrocious even at 10 in the morning read more

After waiting 1.5 hours to be seen and confirmed I had strep throat they called in my prescription to a pharmacy that was closed. When I realized this I asked them to call it in to a pharmacy that was open for another 20 minutes. I arrived to the pharmacy only to find out the prescription had not been called in yet and I was unable to get my antibiotics or other meds to help with the pain. You would think an urgent care has the lists of pharmacy's and their hours located in the area and would be conscious of sending a patient home without the ability to start antibiotics or get pain relief until the next day. Everyone was polite. However, I am very disappointed with the lack of care that's offered here. It is somewhat deceptive here and I would not recommend using their services. They should list what services they offer. Instead, you have to pay $215 upfront, only for the PA to walk in and tell you what you need and that they do not offer the service that you need. They also don't offer the ancillary study you would need before the needed procedure. Would have saved me time and money if they had a list of what service they do and do not offer. Also if they have list of offered procedures, they should instruct the Medical Assistants when they check you in. But that would not be most lucrative. I was very dissatisfied and would not recommend any one seek Urgent care treatment at this location. Very disappointed. read more

This urgent care is incredibly frustrating. I checked in online, submitted my insurance, and even paid--yet never spoke to anyone in person. They emphasize using their app, but when I checked it, they claimed the information "wasn't correct." It took over 3 hours just to get a call back. Completely unorganized and not what you expect from urgent care. The PA did a quick, less-than-3-minute check and left without addressing concerns, while several nurses were sitting and chatting. A complete waste of time and money. This place has really gone downhill since Optum--and that says a lot. read more

First time going here since it changed to exer. Went in for a possible break or popped out of place collar bone on my right side not on my heart side and I got a nurse practitioner as my doctor. They ran an EKG!!! and ordered a chest X-ray. Definitely not what I came in for and had to pay for these services tha didn't fit my symptoms. I had X-ray come in and ask me to put a mask on and asked how long I have been sick?!!! I told her I am not sick I came for a collarbone issue and the X-ray tech couldn't believe what was ordered to X-ray. The worst diagnosis and care I have been given and I def paid more for these services for my copay than other urgent cares. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. read more

I came in on a Sunday and was seen very quickly with no wait time. I was seen by Joseph and he was very thorough. He took his time to discuss everything with me and he seemed very knowledgeable and kind. I was very pleased with this facility. I have seen the reviews for the billing issues, I haven't had any issues, was charged my copay prior to being seen, which is standard. The staff in the front were very good too. I went today to exercise urgent care had the absolute best experience the nurse took care of me. Her name was CHAR, she was very kind very professional answered all my questions did an excellent job then I saw provider Courtney Pool, who listen to my problem we developed a plan she sent in a couple of prescriptions. She was kind, courteous very caring it is and has been one of the best urgent care visits. I've ever had kudos to this entire staff five out of five stars thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, the timely manner that you saw me I could not have been happier. read more

BEWARE !!! They routinely charge more than your copay before a doctor will see you. My copay was $25 but they required payment of $115 before I could be seen. This was almost a month ago and I haven't received a refund so I called the billing department and they said it will take another 60 days to process the refund. The doctor was great. I got the care I needed. But their billing practices seem sketchy. read more

I have never heard this at an urgent care, so I asked them to cancel my copay and I left. I called my health insurance company, and found out that this urgent care was in-network, and that my urgent care visits do not warrant a deductible payment. read more

I have been to Exer 3 times. The care has been acceptable, but I do have concerns. When the Urgent Care was associated with Beaver and then Optum they had access to your medical records so there was a continuity of care. That is no longer the case. They have no access, so your primary care provider does not get an alert that you have been treated. read more

I took my 92 year old grandmother to this urgent care. The girl was less than patient with her. She took her insurance card and ID, but then told her to sign in on the tablet. My grandma told her she didn't know how to work a tablet. The girl didn't care. Thankfully I was there to help her. So we filled out the information on the tablet and my grandma received a text asking her to click a link and fill out information there as well. It was all the same information we put in the tablet and the girl collected. This place is definitely not for those who can't utilize technology and the receptionist was not willing to help an old lady out. The wait to be seen wasn't bad, but the nurse taking her information definitely doesn't listen. My grandma had to tell her things 2-3 times. Not something someone wants to repeat multiple times when they aren't feeling well. The PA who saw her was amazing! Unfortunately he was unable to help her and had to send her to the ER. read more

Staff was just laughing and conversing amongst themselves- kicking back. I asked for a manager/supervisor but was told they don't work on weekends.. Even though I was in great pain.. I had to leave. Do not come here if your sick with anything other then a cold. This place changed and they can't do anything here anymore to help you. Waited 2 hours for the dr just to tell me that I need to take my mom to the emergency. Such a joke I told him I need him to give her an iv and pills for nausea and then I'll take her out of here to emergency but we're not going anywhere till her does. We didn't wait 2 hours to be told to go to emergency. Dr stated " now things changed there's not much we can do here anymore" wth is this urgent care for then ? I'm livid this is a joke. I would give negative if i could. Daughter went in to get checked and she ended up with a fractured tailbone even showing me the images of how messed up it was and told me to go to the ER asap. Went to the ER with their images and they said they were poor quality and took their own. Which ended up with the same conclusion. Now this urgent care contacts me 1-2 days later calling and changing their report to "no findings of any fracture" and sent me a new report. Even though it was confirmed by 2 different hospitals there was in fact a fracture that was obvious. This place is a JOKE and scale and obviously try to back track on any reports given. They do not take their time. The PA women does not check you good and always rushing you out. They did a Covid test and Influenza barely put in the nostril and I said are you sure you swab properly. They said I tested positive for both which is weird. Than she checks my legs and says to go to Redlands hospital that I might have a pulmonary embolism. Scared the crap out of me. Went to hospital retested again the PA at the hospital said it's rare to test positive for both. At the hospital I was negative and with a Big co pay for there misdiagnosis at Exer. I was 11th in line. After about 45 min I noticed that absolutely no one was being called in, not even for triage. I got up and asked the ladies working behind the glass, to which they proceeded to tell me that the "doctor" is stuck in traffic. WTF??? So they only have 1 doctor???? I have been coming to this urgent care for 30 years. When it was beaver and then Optum. Now it's Exer. First thing I see is they removed seats and TVs from waiting room and the checking station changed. Then they have a new check in process which requires you to go on your phone and upload your DL and ins cards even though they take a copy at the front desk. When I asked the front desk how the elderly patients were taking it she said not well.... Also, you have to be on their Wi-Fi on your phone on order to fill it out. My copay was more than it was under Beaver or Optum too. There were three patients in the waiting room but the wait was about two hours because there was only one Dr on staff. They no longer take you back for vitals, but wait to do that once you are in the room. The MA that did my intake kept confusing the information that I gave her. Like she wasn't even listening. Then I needed to get X-rays but there was confusion because the X-rays are still under the optum banner and had me under my maiden name. I literally cried because I was so frustrated and in pain. Then I waited another 30 mins for the dr to come back with my results even though X-ray only took 3 mins. This was not a busy day. I got here at 3 pm, they took me back at 4:15 pm, I went to X-rays at 5:17 pm, back to the room at 5:24pm, waited for the dr until 5:55 at which point I went to the hallway to ask for an update and got my updating the hallway. We arrived at 9 am with 3 people in front of us (when we looked online before we left it said no one was waiting). My friend was in incredible pain with what I guessed was a herniated Disc and sciatica nerve pain. The next available appointment was 2 pm so we decided to risk a walk in). Turns out they only had one Dr working and there were appointments scheduled at least every half hour but they didn't tell us that when we arrived. So 2 1/2 hours later we asked for some kind of estimate of how much longer. Mind you my friend was in horrible pain the whole time. It sounded potentially like another couple hours. This was worse than the ED. Arriving first thing in the morning it's ridiculous to be waiting so long. After I got mad and we decided to leave and got registered at the ED, they called to say they could see my friend so we returned. The woman at the front desk was lovely and she tried to advocate for my friend but the faceless folks in back were telling her no. I can't speak to the quality of care, but in the future I will not be using this urgent care. I'm giving 2 stars only because the front desk person was really trying to help, but they need to do a better job up front letting people know potentially how long it could take given the priority of appointments. Also looking at reviews this issue of only having 1 doctor seems to be a common problem which they need to resolve. read more

The front office staff was friendly. Waiting room was very clean. They took us back fairly quickly and the doctor was very nice and paid very close attention to detail. We were able to get a prescription and a boot for my sons foot and we were overall very satisfied with this urgent care. We will definitly be coming back. read more

This is absolutely hands down the worst urgent care I have EVER experienced! Even their bathroom in the waiting room was disgusting. I've been to run down gas stations with cleaner bathrooms. Avoid this place at all costs. Truly shameful. No matter what time of the day, you will wait a minimum of 4 to 5 hours because they only have one MD. This place needs to be reported to the State Board and shut down. read more

I am now in this urgent care. Very bad welcoming. We have been here many times. Each time they are asking the same information once more. The front desk doesn't do anything regarding the registration of the patient. They are sending a link and asking to put the whole information about the patient, insurance, drivers license, address, etc. Later on they call you just to take a copayment. Today the front dest representative doesn't let me stand and try to register near the front desk window. She sent a link and suggested to go to register by my own. She doesn't care if I can have some questions. In the beginning I told her that they have the whole information in the system, she didn't respond me. I spent more than 10 minutes just for filling up the information and taking the insurance card and driver license pictures once more. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I am not going to visit this place again. Very disappointed from the front desk behavior. read more

Typical Urgent Care situation - check in, pay your copay, take a seat and prepare to wait. The only concern is the check in. Everything is on your phone and they need you to upload a photo of your driver's license and insurance card. Most people can probably figure it out, but maybe some older folks might need help. There are two codes to scan when you check in. First scan is to get your phone on their Wi-Fi, second is to get the check-in page. Be aware of this before you start scrolling as you wait - disconnect from their Wi-Fi. The staff are kind and professional. Once I did get into a room, I never felt rushed even though I was one of the last patients of what appeared to be a very long day for them. read more

The facility is dirty and how do you have one working restroom and don't assure there's soap? I've been waiting with my son for 2 hours. In that time they have called only 2 people. It's extremely frustrating! Also due to volume , 9 people waiting they closed the door at 7 pm, not accepting any more patients. Also couldn't find my son's records. We've been here twice before. Terrible and it's our only option. The ED has a higher copay and comes with unnecessary exposure! Aargh! read more

I do not recommend this place. My 3 year old daughter was up all night with ear ache. Called Optum doc at 8:10a and they had no appointments until the next day. So we went to Redlands urgent care which I didn't know had switched from Optum to Exer. It was a terrible experience. First off, they have a check in process that's kind of a lot. It requires you do everything through your phone which is not good if you're really sick, have poor eyesight or just not tech savvy. They told us it would be an hour. We thought we'd stay because ER would be longer. The wait ended up being over 3 hours long! I complained a few times because it was ridiculous. My daughter was crying in pain and all the patients were just sitting around the waiting room thinking what the heck. By the time the doc saw us her ear drum was ruptured!! I asked to speak to manager and her lack of support was disappointing. I requested to make a review and they said I'd receive a text. When the text arrived I gave Exer 1 out of 5 stars because the doc was ok. The text survey said someone would follow up but no one ever did. Thus, I'm here warning you not to go here.
