I had Covid and something wrong with my throat and they could not say what it was. All they gave was cough medicine which aggregated my throat more and they prescribed allergy pills for my throat. I could barely swallow. I thought that was a slap in the face. I will not come back here for "care".

The doctor seemed rushed and did not take the time to listen to my concerns or fully understand what I was experiencing. His bedside manner was not friendly, and I felt dismissed during the visit. After a brief examination, he prescribed two medications. However, when I arrived at the pharmacy, I discovered that only one prescription had been sent, and the other had been forgotten. This caused additional frustration and delayed my treatment. When patients come to urgent care, especially when they are in significant pain, they deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

I know I'm not really supposed to do that, but the quality of care is truly unmatched by any other office I've visited. I recently dealt with a severe infection, and Lyn and Wendy were so kind yet firm in insisting that I go to the hospital. I really fought them on it because the hospital was the last place I wanted to be, but I ultimately took their advice. I ended up spending a week in the hospital and was sent home with a PICC line, so they were completely right. Deep down, I knew they were right in the moment, but I was holding out hope of being treated at home on oral antibiotics, so I tried everything to negotiate a different outcome. My son passed away seven years ago, and learning that the staff at After Hours still remembers the two of us coming in together meant more to me than words can say. The office was clean, I had a co-pay of $25 and the doctor was nice but he gave me poor medical care. He said " I won't diagnose it as __ but we will treat it as ___ ". Confusing but I received a prescription so I was pleased. My symptoms became painful throughout the day so I called my physicians office and they couldn't see me until 2 days. By my appointment all my symptoms had severely intensified. My physician took one look at me and knew what was going on. I received a steroid shot, pain medication and a referral to see a specialist that same day. Symptoms got better and I saw the specialist with a co-pay of $65. Received the proper care and moved on with life. A month later I receive a text from carbon saying "your bill is ready from your visit". To make things more ridiculous it was due in 5 days and of courses they were automatically charging it. No explanation just a bill so I emailed them for an itemized bill as my insurance didn't send me anything saying they didn't cover the full visit. They have yet to respond. Read the other 1 star reviews (I wish I had) and take your medical concerns elsewhere.

The nurses were amazing! Unfortunately, my second visit was for my teenage daughter, who broke her ankle playing volleyball. This time, I made sure to ask for the names of the provider and nurse because they absolutely deserve to be acknowledged. Frank and Carol, thank you for doing your jobs with both passion and compassion. You made a stressful situation a little easier for us, and that truly matters. While being admitted I could not eat & had been waiting for a specific doctor to come in & speak to me regarding the issues. Every time I would call a nurse with the call button , no one would pick up & not one nurse would come to the room to help me use the restroom. I kept asking my nurses when I would be discharged or what was going on with me & every time I would ask a nurse what was wrong with me, I would get a different story or receive the answer, "uhmmmmmm, let me check & get back to you" but did they ever get back to me about my results about ANY tests?!?! NO. Also while being admitted they changed my diet & they ended up giving me something I could not eat, NO ONE asked me about my allergies about food or what I did or do not eat. I could not receive a new or different plate, so I did not eat. Next time I will count my blessings about being healthy before I ever step foot in this place again. Plus, PIH while being admitted there they give you a box to keep yourself clean containing, bath clothes, toothpastes, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner. Not one time did this place ask if I wanted to get clean. Ew

I haven't ever waited a crazy amount of time to see a doctor which has been good for my schedule. One star off because I personally don't understand why we have to pay for parking while seeking medical attention. In order to avoid the fee, I park outside the gated area and walk into the building. There is plenty of free street parking, but it is a walk which may be more difficult for patients who are older or in pain.
