The doctor seemed rushed and did not take the time to listen to my concerns or fully understand what I was experiencing. His bedside manner was not friendly, and I felt dismissed during the visit. After a brief examination, he prescribed two medications. However, when I arrived at the pharmacy, I discovered that only one prescription had been sent, and the other had been forgotten. This caused additional frustration and delayed my treatment. When patients come to urgent care, especially when they are in significant pain, they deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

I know I'm not really supposed to do that, but the quality of care is truly unmatched by any other office I've visited. I recently dealt with a severe infection, and Lyn and Wendy were so kind yet firm in insisting that I go to the hospital. I really fought them on it because the hospital was the last place I wanted to be, but I ultimately took their advice. I ended up spending a week in the hospital and was sent home with a PICC line, so they were completely right. Deep down, I knew they were right in the moment, but I was holding out hope of being treated at home on oral antibiotics, so I tried everything to negotiate a different outcome. My son passed away seven years ago, and learning that the staff at After Hours still remembers the two of us coming in together meant more to me than words can say. They treat each and every patient like family, and that is the exact kind of compassionate care you can always count on here.

The sign up and check in processes were high tech, quick, and smooth - using an iPad rather than the old pen and paper method. My procedure was done by Herman and supervised by Lucy, and throughout the entire process, both of them were so gentle - constantly asking how I was feeling, and were extremely thorough. I typically feel like I'm just a number and being rushed at other facility, but here, I felt they actually cared about my wellbeing... I suppose it fits their name (BeWell!). I have nothing by high praises for this establishment, and hope that many others could experience the high quality services they offer. Thank you both, Herman and Lucy, so so much for that day. The office was clean, I had a co-pay of $25 and the doctor was nice but he gave me poor medical care. He said " I won't diagnose it as __ but we will treat it as ___ ". Confusing but I received a prescription so I was pleased. My symptoms became painful throughout the day so I called my physicians office and they couldn't see me until 2 days. By my appointment all my symptoms had severely intensified. My physician took one look at me and knew what was going on. I received a steroid shot, pain medication and a referral to see a specialist that same day. Symptoms got better and I saw the specialist with a co-pay of $65. Received the proper care and moved on with life. A month later I receive a text from carbon saying "your bill is ready from your visit". To make things more ridiculous it was due in 5 days and of courses they were automatically charging it. No explanation just a bill so I emailed them for an itemized bill as my insurance didn't send me anything saying they didn't cover the full visit. They have yet to respond. Read the other 1 star reviews (I wish I had) and take your medical concerns elsewhere.

She really went above and beyond. Unfortunately, Dilayla is not the manager at the Whittier Urgent Care, but if an issue arises and she is handling it, then you are good. I heard about the PrEP and Gardasil that they offered and wanted to look into getting that and was helped by Brooke who was phenomenal. Brooke was very detailed oriented, knowledgeable, well educated, caring, sweet, and was able to answer all of my questions organically. I have nothing but positive visits here, they genuinely help people to the best of their ability despite having a large demand of visitors. The facilities are clean and well kept, staff is great with handling blood draws, injections, etc. The medication protocol if applicable is they have a contract with I think a Walgreens or cvs in Hollywood that they call it in to, from there you can just have the rx transferred to your local pharmacy. I don't know clear deatz as I haven't had any meds prescribed yet. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I felt cared for from the housekeeping staff to the nurses to the student nurses to my drs, surgeon, and anesthesiologists. They listened, asked questions, took action, checked in. It is very convenient that they are able to perform all of these procedures at one location instead of having to go to different facilities. Their calendars are extremely full, so you have to book in advanced or you'll be seen months out. The staff are friendly and helpful with scheduling and the in-take process. I haven't ever waited a crazy amount of time to see a doctor which has been good for my schedule. One star off because I personally don't understand why we have to pay for parking while seeking medical attention. In order to avoid the fee, I park outside the gated area and walk into the building. There is plenty of free street parking, but it is a walk which may be more difficult for patients who are older or in pain.
