Founded by Sensei Satoru Sato, a student of Sensei William Gleason, the practice is sincere and focused on incorporating Aiki into techniques, one's body and daily practice. I've been visiting this dojo for over a decade and come every Memorial Day for the annual Gasshuku with Gleason Sensei. Beautiful space on the second floor of a warehouse behind Purradice on Rt 7. Jeff has developed a personal program designed for me. He takes the time to explain what we are doing and why. This knowledge base has made a huge difference for me. He knows the science behind the exercises and the body to put together a program with the right exercises in the right order. He has the ability to see what is working and what is not and adjust on the fly. He mixes up the programs to keep it interesting. I shared a very small room that had a bathroom with a toilet but NO SINK - we had to touch the door handle without washing our hands. The sink was on my roommate's side - no privacy. See enclosed picture. 2. My roommate had the tv on blasting night and day. I let the person in charge know that I could not sleep and nothing was resolved. 3. I was recovering from major surgery and needed to move around, walk, exercise... Instead, I was confined to a bed - not even a chair/recliner to sit on. 4. My bed was about 2 feet from the window - I'm enclosing a picture of the window with the dirt I was breathing in. 5. The food was terrible... Juices were always watered down. 6. No physical therapy was offered for two days - not until I was checking out. 7. No nurse care - no one ever took my vitals.
