I found this studio a few months ago when I decided to reinvent my July 24th for 2025. Last year on this day in 2024 I had surgery to remove the extra skin after losing 165lbs from 311.5lbs and the surgery I came home and unfortunately started bleeding internally and had to go back to the ER for additional surgery in total I lost 4 pints of blood and needed a transfusion. That day I spent most of the day stressed, panicked, unconscious/ in surgery for 10 plus hours unsure of what came next. I knew this year on July 24th I was gonna seize the day and do stuff relaxing and rejuvenating. This yoga session targeted stretching and zen through the class . There was a point where she mentioned to let go of the stuff that's behind us and release it and leave it at the beach. That moment felt great to really zone in the waves and everything at the shore to move past last year. The instructor was very attentive and made sure everyone understood each pose and directed us when to breathe. This was everything I needed for today, the beach setting and the yoga/zen. Many things have changed for the worse since my last visit as a kid--for the worse. ENVIRONMENT When walking into the establishment I'll admit the customer service was pleasant and nothing immediately stood out. When I walked into the mens locker room I was greeted with a repulsive funk that I don't have the capacity to describe. Besides the smell, I immediately noticed there was a guard present in the locker room. I have never encountered a gym that required a need for a security guard. Despite these warning signs, I proceeded in my attempt to make the most of the experience. Moving to the training floor,I noticed that was a considerable amount of equipment which is always a plus! However, after getting up close with the treadmill and various other machines I noticed the weight machines were either missing labels, filthy or non-functioning(see images). In conclusion, there are a plethora of other gyms that are cheaper or similarly priced that have far better upkeep of the equipment. Variety will never trump quality and this gym is a perfect semblance of an establishment that needs a bit of tlc(tender+love+care).

She begins each session with a conversation so that she can truly meet you where you are and provide a wholistic approach to what you need to heal. Whether that is an emotional or physical release, a deepened connection with source, an energetic balancing or cleansing, or so on. Every session is unique to where I am at in my physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual bodies. She always seems to know what is wrong before I open my mouth, but she always holds space for me within her loving glow. Emily has an incredible way of making you feel instantly comfortable, even the most advanced of wall builders, like myself. I have broken down into tears before getting on the table, had massive physical releases, and healed in ways I thought weren't possible. She has guided me through deep emotional trauma as well as physical trauma (I had abdominal surgery to remove 15 tumors in 2016). I will say it's not all glitter and romance, there are often hard lessons to be learned and dealt with, and they can be difficult (but always necessary) and she guides you through it with light and love. I could go on and on, but really my words will mean nothing. What Emily offers is intuitive and experiential. Everyone's session is powerful, uniquely their own, and always far beyond what they expected. She is a true facilitator for your healing journey and I am blessed to have her in my life. My advice: go in to your session with an open mind and ready to receive her gifts.

You will hold a plank until your arms shake and you will find that just when you want to get out of a pose your transformation begins. So be open to the more. My friend and I are used to a fast flow, so when someone gets you in a plank and leaves you there... you go through the emotions. Question, panic, transformation. Stay. Just stay and welcome in the feelings. Our instructor today was Jewels, she was warm, welcoming, sweet, supportive and genuine. We truly enjoyed her and her savasana was mighty. MIGHTY!
