Then after she started using shearing scissors, omg!! after I got home and had a good look, my hair was sheared to half of the amount and most of hair is down to my ears length, all by shearing. My whole hair is now in various length and way way thinner than needed and not even close to what I wanted. I know they have a quite a wide range of services but I can only attest to the hair ones (cuts and colours) and they have always been great, and since their staff is loyal and sticks around I expect nothing less each visit. Full disclosure: I go to the same stylist and if he left I would probably try to follow him. That being said, I am happy he remains within that Newmarket salon. It's become a place I feel like I can relax and take a load off. The receptionists are always nice and coffee/tea/wine/water is always immediately offered upon your arrival. The magazine selection is excellent, although I prefer to complain about my life than read during my haircuts. It's not the cheapest place to get your hair done, but I've never left dissatisfied which is a big deal for someone who is very rarely ever satisfied. (Overshare.) The aesthetician Brooke is also lovely. She always gets my brow waxes just right, and does facials, massages, manis and pedis too. I also get eyelash extensions by her on special occasions and they are lovely. There is a new barber for men at the salon, too - so the whole family can get their hair and beauty needs met in one go. The shop is fun and unassuming, welcoming and airy. The staff are awesome, there is always laughter and a good vibe. I have to say that I haven't been back since I've been home, mostly due to lack of funds and hair cuts at Servilles not being on the cheap side. That being said however, you definitely pay for what you get - I don't really remember a time where I left Servilles unhappy with my haircut, apart from maybe a few times when they cut my fringe a tad short. All of the staff here are really well trained and I always feel safe with my locks in their hands. They all have a great sense of style as well, so you can rest assured knowing that they won't accidentally give you a tacky hair cut that they claim to be the latest 'trend'. So if you care about your hair and you can afford their prices, give them a call and I'm sure they'll be able to squeeze you in on their busy schedule.
