This isn't fancy but if you're looking for delicious food at great prices, with friendly service look no further. Large menu, picnic tables,takeout, or eat in your car. We've visited twice and we're not disappointed. Consistently wonderful. Close to the interstate. Large parking lot truckers love.

I have stopped here several times over the last few years. It's a roadside food trailer right off the I-40 Northbound Exit 87 off ramp. The trailer is under a permanent pavilion with seating. They have cold soft drinks, water and sports drinks. The food is always good. Today I got the chopped brisket, mustard potato salad and mayo slaw. Their BBQ sauce has a little kick and went well on the brisket. The service was fast and the food is fresh. Great little stop if you are traveling. Large parking lot for tractor trailers. Several parked and drivers having lunch.

Been here maybe 5 times, always good food. They do have pup cups and they are good! Today I had a jumbo pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and ordered a 2 meat plate with potato salad, Mac n cheese, ribs, and more pulled pork. I was hungry.

Came across as an ad on my cb in the truck I was stopping at love's truck stop anyway so I have it a shot. Let me say the ribs were great and the pulled pork was good as well the spicy sauce is kind of like what I make at home so I loved it the sides were not as good as I hoped but the ribs and pulled pork made up for it I got a2 meat platter and a half rack of ribs

Just a great BBQ stand. My wife and I were traveling through on our way to Nashville and looking up BBQ joints along the way, we found this. I had the BBQ nachos and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich. Neither disappointed and we could barely finish the nachos. Definitely a keeper! It's often hard to find good places to eat that are convenient to truck parking, so I always take a chance when I find one...I'm glad I did! Great BBQ and the sauce pairs really well with...well...everything! Interesting ideas too...for example I tried a "potato dog" which turns out to be a hot dog sliced in half and filled with potato salad. Sounds odd, but with some sauce on top of was amazing! The potato salad, however, seems to be your garden variety store-bought stuff. Would be better homemade, but still the place is totally worth the stop! read more

This little hole in the wall is a gem, had the jumbo pork sandwich, and the best baked beans I've had in a long time. The pork sandwich was FULL on meat and very good. If you're on I40 W, it's worth the stop. read more

Stopped in today for a couple of sandwiches. Got the jumbo pork and bologna today . Both were pretty good, not the best ive ever had but its still worth stopping for. Nice price, big portions and clean stand.. Haven't had anything else cause I'm funny about my ribs but I may try them next time. I would like to see smoked pork Steak on the menu. We were driving from Nashville through Memphis and I was looking for food along the freeway that wasn't fast food. I found this place on google maps and it got pretty good reviews. We ordered a plate of ribs and it was delicious. The ribs were so tender and the spicy sauce added a nice touch. Probably the best ribs I have had and definitely worth the stop. read more

Best damn BBQ in town, I always as top here when I'm around this area even if I have to detour out of my way because it is worth it, great prices and friendly staff, they even have truck parking which is a big bonus and even tables outside to sit and enjoy!! read more

Excellent BBQ!!! I have tried many places in Jackson and these folks can't be beat!! The service is great and the ladies working treat you like family. Not like your typical BBQ joint where they reheat meat and throw a bunch a fat in. Every time I stop by I'm shocked that they keep their food fresh from the smoker to my plate. Their juicy pulled pork will have you coming back for more and more!! read more

Went on laborday so there was a limited menu, but that just helped me make my decision quicker. Got a bbq sandwich, coleslaw and spicy sauce. Was really filling even at regular size (and well priced too, 5$ for reg, 6$ for jumbo). Really good quality pulled pork, variety of piece sizes, all nice and juicy with no dried out stringy bits. I dont normally get coleslaw on it but i'm glad i did because it pairs really well with their spicy sauce. If you're getting this as part of a road-trip, go smaller if you're driving, because a bigger serving will get you wanting a nap (in a good way, if you dont have to worry about staying awake). Don't worry about trying to find this one, the exit is in the name and its established enough that its on the blue interstate food signs. read more

Good BBQ, similar to Dickeys or Spring Creek. It's pet friendly and low key. It is very dusty but you're eating outdoors so to be expected. The cashier (cook?) was super friendly. read more

Just ok if you are simply hungry. I'll step out there and say it is just mediocre. First, all the sides are bought from Walmart or Sam's. The bbq sauce is Sweet Baby Ray's from Walmart. The meat is ok. We had a Bbq plate with ribs, beans, cole slaw, potato salad and a pulled pork sandwich. If you must stop, I recommend the pulled pork sandwich. read more

Ribs, both sweet ones and spicy ones were great. So were the sides. But, I definitely would recommend you carry out your food. The dust from all the trucks going in and out made using the picnic tables an issue. read more

I saw the review for Exit 87 in a men's magazine while in Dallas. Knowing that we would be traveling through Jackson on our way to East Tennessee, we planned to stop and I am so glad we did. Our timing was perfect. We had the pulled pork and potato salad. I tried the spicy sauce and my husband had the sweet sauce. The pork was flavorful and tender. Both of the sauces were quite good. We will stop on the way back. read more

I had the plate with 1/3 ribs and two sides for $9.50 and felt the portion size was good. I chose the spicy (vs sweet) sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this stand which also has 5x picnic tables if you want to hang out and eat outside. read more

We got the ribs! Great! Stop and try this spot. Love the character and service wonderful and pleasant We got mild sauce, I should of asked for sauce on the side so I could Savour the flavor of ribs more and dip sauce amount to my liking. Beans were our favorite side. Cole slaw creamy, my preference is more texture. Potato salad good too, but again my taste, I like a simple potato salad. Found this on yelp looking for great BBQ and were not disappointed. The place really is a stand on the side of a truck stop gravel parking lot - but sooo worth a stop. It was delicious and very affordable. I got the BBQ plate with sweet sauce and had so much food I couldn't finish it. The slaw was good and the potato salad was super goood! The pile of Q pork was perfectly done and not dry, had good smoke flavor and aroma and the sauce was also very nice. read more

Of BBQ in Jackson, this is the best I've had. The meat and sauce quality is very good. Only not giving a five star because the hours are too unpredictable and I'm partial to vinegar based sauces like seen in Western Kentucky style BBQ. read more

By far the best BBQ I have had in Tennessee. We went 20 minutes out of way from Tupelo Mississippi to Nashville in the rain to try this place. It was completely with it. This is a common place for the 18 wheelers to stop, so don't that I intimidate you. We got the pulled BBQ by the pound, and two slabs. I am going to find myself dreaming of the place.
