I highly recommend Exito Travel, and Jeremy Sandi Villalobos in particular. While on our extended trip in South America, Jeremy was able to assist us twice with issues with the airlines. In the first instance, our incoming US flight was delayed long enough that we missed our connection in Buenos Aires. He was able to rebook us with minimal troubles and we made our ongoing destination that night. In the second instance, Latham Airlines bumped one of us from the flight in Pueros Natales, a very small airport with few options for other flights. Since we aren't fluent in Spanish, and the staff wasn't fluent in English, it was invaluable to be able to call and be rebooked on the on remaining flight out that day. We just called and were able to make our next destination. A very stressful situation was resolved easily by Jeremy and Exito. read more

We used Exito to book round trip flights from Chicago to Tanzania for a safari. While in Tanzania violence erupted following a presidential election and our flight home with KLM was canceled. The internet was also down on orders from the president. We called Exito and our agent Lukas to ask if he could book us on another airline so we could get out of a dangerous place, We got Lukas' voice mail, left a message regarding the situation. After waiting hours for a return call that never came we called the emergency number and were connected to an agent named Wayne. He did not understand the seriousness of what was going on and said he'd look into flights and call us back. After waiting two hours we called him back and he offered us a flight two days later with three stops. We told him we needed to get home as soon as possible, explained the situation again and asked him to look into other airlines that we knew were still flying. He said he would only look at KLM and came up with a different flight that wasn't leaving for two days and never gave us any confirmation numbers. Again, we had to call him, he never called us. Our safari company finally arranged transportation after KLM resumed flying the next night. Exito was absolutely useless; we waited for calls that never came, called them back repeatedly and never heard from them after we got home. read more

I was recommended to use the agency by my cruise specialist. My experience was horrible. They quoted me airfare that was either the same or much higher than I could book on the airline website. Sine they were the preferred flight agency, I opted to get our tickets through them and pay their service fee. Big mistake. Even though they were provided with the flight numbers to book from the cruise company, they booked the wrong flight. They also booked us in middle seats... both of us. This was after they asked for our preferences twice. Later I received an email from the cruise company showing the preferred flights, which they had not booked. They eventually changed our flight to the right one. There's a lack of attention to detail here. That's not something you want or should tolerate in a travel agency. read more
