I had a deeply disappointing experience working with Carolyn of Memories in Motion Travel…read more Throughout the extensive planning process for a 3 week trip in Europe, I would finally have an itinerary set, to then be told tours and/or activities needed to be changed for one reason or another. This meant the itinerary as a whole needed to be reviewed and adjusted. To make matters worse, I often found mistakes in the updated itineraries sent to me. I was literally boarding my flight and still did not have a finalized itinerary. Once abroad, the troubles didn't stop. I had incorrect information about meeting points for tours, had tours that no one ever showed up to lead, and was even given the wrong train station to be at for my train from Budapest to Vienna! Thank goodness I arrived early enough for this to be discovered and still have time to get across the city to the right train station to catch the correct train. What made things worse was that Carolyn brought in an outside vendor and then completely abdicated responsibility for everything that went wrong. Instead of taking accountability, they pointed fingers and did not provide any recompense. Travel is stressful enough without this kind of negligence and lack of ownership. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for travel services.

Crystal was great when this happened. I contacted her as soon I knew that I was positive and she worked to get me rebooked on a later flight that week and made sure the hotel was taking care of me as well. She answered any questions I had and everything worked out very well. I will be using their services for years to come. Service like this does not come along often. One of the ladies helping us even went as far as to tell us that she was "already in trouble with her manager for spending so much time on our package." That is reassuring to know that helping a customer can get employees in trouble. You are better off booking your own travel off the internet.

If you are using this platform then, at least give a review once in a while and if you find a business has changed services, stopped services, or has just gone lame, then do a review and report it. This is a poor reflection not only on Gold Key Travel, but Yelp and its users as well. Come on people. All previous reviews looked outstanding, so I thought Gold Key Travel is going to be a great gig. Wrong! I wasted way too much time trying to contact GKT only to find out that they are no longer open to the public for regular services. They now apparently only do certain special annual package deals for seniors. So why is GKT showing up as number one on a Yelp search for the Greeley/Ft Collins area when they are no longer open for regular travel services? There should be a way for Yelp to remove businesses or change their status listing so of users don't waste their time trying to contact businesses that no longer offer the regular services as once previously performed or advertised.

Both recommendations were perfect (amazing food, drink, service, etc), and the agents couldn't have made it easier. They setup transportation to and from the airport, recommended excursions that the whole family loved, and even contacted the hotel to add special perks for my wife and I on our anniversary. If I could have people like this plan my normal day-to-day activities my life would be much less stressful!

We didn't know what island would be best for us, where to find a real deal exclusive package that wasn't a scam etc. Figuring out the time difference with flights alone was insane. Thank you South Sea Adventures! This travel agency, based in CO, helped us plan our trip for free- well we are sure they get a kick back from the places they reccomend but still. All of the employees, including our agent, Tree, (yes that is her name), have actually been to all of these islands and resorts. That is a huge factor when asking questions. In the end we settled on Fiji, specicially Taveuni, which seems to have all of the things that we asked for at a decent price- especially considering how far away it is! If you are thinking about a trip to Fiji, Bora Bora, Tahiti etc I def. reccomend South Sea Adventures. The place loses one star only because sometimes Tree did seem a bit put out by our questions - like once she had our business she didn't go out of her way as much but still a good place I think. We ended up going with Tree (we had talked to 3 other travel agents) because she was the only person who had actually BEEN there. That mattered to us when planning a trip that was so far away and a region of the world where we had never been. We ended up with Matangi Island in Fiji. We absolutely LOVED where we went and were VERY well taken care of there. I would use this travel agency again! There was a mix-up with flights and we were supposed to be at the resort for 7 nights, but because of this confusion it was only going to be 6. She made sure to follow up on everything she booked for us. When we were on one excursion we brought the wrong paperwork and she texted us with the correct information right away. Our driver, Dan, was very professional and courteous. He really did go above and beyond to make our trip to and from the restaurant convenient and hassle free. What a pleasure to not have to look for parking, and to know that an extra glass of wine wouldn't be a problem later. I will definitely call them again for my next night out.
