I love escape rooms! I go 3-4 times a month, and this is one of the most high quality rooms I have been to, from the moment you enter the building. You are greeted with classy music to set the mood, and then ushered into an excellently decorated space, amping up the thrill! Brandy, the owner, is exceptionally personable, and does everything to make your experience superb. We tried both of her rooms- Fenn's treasure and the Cabin. Fenn's treasure was very well done with creative puzzles, good for the moderate to advanced player. My favorite was the Cabin! When you enter, there is no doubt that you are inside a murderer's cabin in the middle of a thunderstorm. Lights flash and wind blows, creating a thrilling arena for you to solve the mystery, or be caught by the "murderer." Great for tourists and locals alike! Thanks for an amazing experience! read more

Exitus was a super fun experience. If you're a first-time escaper, the owner was very informative on escape rooms and what to expect with locks and safes. There are two rooms at two different difficulty levels, and in our room the storyline was from real Jackson history. During the escape you are encouraged and given hints (if wanted) from the owner through a speaker, and applaus is given when you're on the right track. We were one step away from escaping, and even though we didn't finish, the owner came in and showed us the next step and still let us "solve" the final puzzle. Super cool that we got to still see the ending! Because of the local touches and guided interaction to this escape room, we would highly recommend. read more

This was my first experience with an escape room, however I love puzzles and was planning to visit this year. We came down for Mother's Day and had a great time. There were 5 of us in Fenn's Treasure and everyone contributed to solving the challenges. As we live in Jackson, we plan to visit the Cabin and each new room they put together. Brandi was great and we certainly appreciate all she did to make this a great Mother's Day. If your a local, do yourself a favor and visit Exitus. If you are in town sight seeing and have an hour or so before your dinner or the shootout starts, visit Exitus. This was a great addition the the Jackson Hole experience. read more

My husband and I enjoy going to escape rooms whenever we travel and this time we set out on the road for the escape room alone. It did not disappoint! We have done 30+ rooms all around the US. Cabin in the Woods is the best room we've been to... the ambiance was superb, the puzzles were challenging and Ranger Rick feels like my best friend now. It was just the right amount of thrilling and truly an amazing experience. Brandi, the owner, absolutely understands what it takes to make escape rooms enjoyable and fun. She has a great personality and really made it fun. Next time you're in Jackson... or if you live there already, Exitus is a place to visit. read more

Both rooms are so much fun! My first experience with Exitus was sending my staff as a team building activity. They all did the Cabin and still cannot stop talking about it. I will defiantly be sending them again this year to solve Fenn's Treasure. After seeing how much fun they all had I had to go do it myself. I have now done both rooms and each has its own fun and creative twists that keep everyone going. I'm hooked and can't wait for more rooms to be added. My family and I enjoy doing escape rooms all over when we travel together. I've done over 40, and this was among the best! Our family did both Fenn's Treasure and the Cabin. Fenn's Treasure had great ambiance, was very creative and had fun mind-bending puzzles. But our personal favorite was the Cabin. Being inside the room was like actually being transported into a real Cabin during a storm, and that really draws you into the narrative! The owner was exceedingly welcoming, and great to talk to. Our party of ten stumbled on this escape room wondering around Jackson. The staff were super nice and fit us in. We've done some escape rooms in the past and everyone agreed this was the best one. For me it was because of the details. From the opening description video, to the thunder and lightening to add to the pressure, to the voice and instructions coming from "Ranger Rick" rather than an annoyed employee. Highly recommend if you're looking for a day of rest from the slopes or shopping. read more

First time trying an escape room. This was a great experience from beginning to end! The owner, Brandi, was super great in helping us feel like we could do this on our own - although her timely hints were not turned down. She even let our 6 year old give it a try with us, and when it was a little too scary for her, Brandi and her dog, Sheila, even kept her entertained so we could finish. My girlfriends and I did this to celebrate my birthday. What fun!! It was thrilling, exciting, and super creative. As a Jackson Hole local, it can be a little tough to find a new activity (of course, we can ski or hike forever) and this was a really fun way to spend some time with my friends. Amazing time! I took my mom and some of her friends for her birthday. I'm in my twenties and they are all 65+ and we all had a blast! They were all a little skeptical/nervous, but all really enjoyed it and couldn't stop talking about it the whole way home. What an awesome, unique activity for Jackson. So much fun! While on our honeymoon my husband and our best friends tried out the cabin room at Exitus. It was one of the most fun things we did in Jackson Hole! The national parks are hard to compete with, but for an indoor activity this place is a must. Not only were the hosts/owners gracious, but Ranger Rick was a hoot. Give this place a try! This was my fourth time doing an escape room and was the best I've done. Challenging (we definitely wouldn't have finished in time without some clues) but not in a ridiculous way (I think we may have finished eventually even without clues). The Fenn's treasure room was great, as it's a smaller room so doable for just 2 people. read more

The kids loved it! They said the owner was very pleasant and helpful, but not too much. Our only frustration was the signage out front. We kept driving by it. Hard to find. If they had better signage, they would get more traffic, especially foot traffic. Other than that, room was very spacious and they had a great time. read more

Fantastic Escape Room! We participated in 'The Cabin' and we had a party of 6 people ages 6-52 and every single person was able to contribute to solve the puzzle and had a fantastic time. Wow. So fun. I saw this place in a brochure and it looked intriguing. We did the Cabin room and it was awesome.. I can't even explain. The gamemaster was super friendly and nice.
