Adult beverages may have been involved. Still, when my niece insisted we bring my sister in here on her birthday after multiple cocktails, we were still the soberest people in the store. And we laughed our butts off at some of the antics Like what you ask. Some woman was buying penis molds for jello shots. She asked if they had any penis's in a smaller size and two men in the store raised their hands. There was a woman raising holy #ell cause she wanted to spend $100 plus and they wouldn't let her. She had a credit card but no ID. She said they were discriminating cause her girlfriend is black. IDK...she wasnt there. Ended up owners and woman dropped multiple F Bombs before they kicked her out and just outside the door she did a face plant. I had previously visited this store with a couple friends back in 2019 and thought the man working behind the counter was rude and certainly not helpful. I decided to buy a couple items, probably spent $30 or so and really didn't have a desire to return due to his bad attitude. So last night a couple of my friends and I decided to walk into Exotic Fantasies because we had dinner reservations at Roost next door and had approximately 40 min before our table was ready. Before entering the store I told my friends I did not have a good experience the last time I was there, however my friends still wanted to look around and possibly purchase some items. Of course the rude and vile man that I encountered before was behind the counter frowning as we entered the door. We went to the left side where the lingerie was and my friend and I wanted to buy a couple lingerie sets, however, we thought it was better to come back to the store after dinner and purchase them so we didn't have to carry the items to the upscale restaurant or risk losing them as we planned to go to another store. I asked the man w the attitude what time the store closed and he said 10:00. I told him that we wanted to return after dinner and purchase a few items as we didn't want to have to carry the bags to dinner...he just gave me a dirty look and said nothing. Before leaving we decided to take a look at the right side of the store and he proceeded to tell us there was a 15 min browsing limit! I literally could not believe what I was hearing and I immediately told him he was in the wrong business and that maybe he should move to another area of town instead of the Oregon District. I told him to have a nice life and he said he would and my friends and I walked out. The funny thing is my friend that was with me was visiting me from CA and I can tell you that she is worth about 3 million and I certainly do ok financially myself. All I can say is that the arrogant man definitely lost a big sale. This man is his own worst enemy and certainly has no business in the retail industry. I noticed after reading many reviews regarding this store that there are similar stories to mine. Please think twice before giving someone like that your business. I was sold something and they sold me the incorrect batteries. I was also told that the charge would show differently on my card which was a lie. Wouldn't go here again. The staff was helpful, though a bit awkward. I would like to see someone more friendly. read more

On the behalf of the customer: I walked into the location on 5th street with my grocery bags from Walmart while the associate Michael was working. The associate automatically looked at me as if I did something wrong. I asked the him was everything ok and he said rudely "No go about what you are doing". I placed my bags down and began looking at the products. I walked over to a product to see the size of the item and opened the box but not the plastic on the product. I wanted to make sure the item was not damaged. Michael yelled from behind the counter "DON'T OPEN THAT! You can't open anything". I said "Oh ok sorry. I usually make sure my items are ok". Michael yelled "This is not Walmart! Then you have your s**** on the floor". I asked "Why are you cussing me?". Then he said "I can cuss at you. I can do whatever I want". I said "No you cannot talk to me any kind of way". Michael went behind the counter and grabbed a bat and tried to hit me with it while he grabbed my bags and sat them outside. I immediately called the police and asked who the owner was and Michael said he did not know. The associate had no right to cuss at me and racial profile me based on my bags and color of my skin. I called the police and because I was not physically hit with the bat, I could not make a report. I had my friend on the phone during the entire incident and she was able to record the whole situation. She even took it upon herself to call the store to speak with Michael to make sure I was alright and to make sure he was alright. She tried to de-esclate the situation and he spoke to her very inappropriately and nasty stating, "I can talk however I want" then used some inappropriate language with her as well as cussed her out. She is the witness to it all. Do not visit this store. I am from Chicago and this was the worse experience ever. If Michael needed me to do anything he could have just told me politely. Even witness' from the store next door witnessed it and spoke to me to calm me down and said the actions of Michael was wrong. I plan on making sure this incident is taken to BBB because no customer should endure the treatment that I endured. I even had a stranger go back in to buy my products since I spent time there trying to figure out what I wanted. I STILL gave them my business to show in fact I had every intention to purchase something. It is extremely sad that this type of behavior continues to happen in our society. Michael judged my from my Walmart bags and even stated "This is not Walmart". As if Walmart is a lower regarded store than this exotic toy shop. Come on....Exotic Fantasies is not Prada or Gucci! I have respect for all stores whether they be Walmart, Target, Gucci or a store like Exotic Fantasies. Michael have some class. People like you end up in jail for discrimination. I bet this would not have happened if 1) I walked in with high end retail bags or 2) I walked in with Walmart bags and a different ethnicity. You judged me the moment I walked in the store which is why I asked you if there was a problem when I came in on my cell phone. You are pathetic and disgusting. God bless you and I hope you learn that in 2015, society has overcome that type of behavior and insult. Have some class. read more
