This new location at the Greene has been a great move to Lane Bryant. The store is larger and…read morebetter laid out than the previous location and it has all the same wonderful employees. Dressing rooms are many and large and there is always someone offering to help. After I get a few items in my hands, someone always offers to come over and start a fitting room for me. Employees check on you and ask if they can get you anything and don't hesitate to get you a different size if you need it. Don't pass up the free bra fitting. It may be a bit awkward, but its over the clothes and always help you find the right size for you. My best friend looked at 10 stores for the perfect strapless bra for her wedding and had no luck until I suggested Lane Bryant for a bra fitting. Within 10 minutes she got a fitting, an employee found the perfect bra and she was happy. Also, if you like something but its not in your size or color (I tried on the green shirt, but really like the pink one), they will order it for you and send it to your door for free!! Also, free shipping to the store when you order online and a $25 coupon when you pick up!! Oh, and location, location, location!! I go shopping, and hubby goes to Pies and Pints right next door. He gets a beer or two and I meet him there when I'm done so we can finish our shopping. The parking is the only real weak point, but its no worse than when this store was located at the Mall at Fairfield Commons!

Maybe it's a phase, but there are certain things I dread these days…read more Getting used to a new phone when I so eagerly embraced the new technology with my last purchase....it was love at first sight when it allowed me to check in on Yelp...is just one of the things I dread. And as anyone who knows me knows I'm technology challenged. (Kate...if you're reading this you improved life when you showed me I wasn't sharing my check ins. I had no idea why no one ever liked one of my check ins.) But I put on my big girl pants and headed out to rectify that time was passing me by and my phone belonged in a museum. When they stepped up to help me they tried not to snicker. (and no...it wasn't a flip phone-or a blackberry). And everyone working here was so friendly and helpful. And patient while they walked me thru the process. Which wasn't slow. I even went to the bar and had dinner while waiting for my photos to load (Yelp photos of course.) It was kind of slick how one of the personnel kept adding little boxes to my pile, like I couldn't live without a charger you just lay your phone on. I pushed back when he added a pink cover. Do I look like I would want a pink cover??? This $hit is not cheap...I kinda gulped when I got the total. Oh well, it's not everyday you upgrade your lifeline. It's finally ready and I bring it home and start the hooking to blue tooth, setting up voicemail, downloading apps, etc. And I notice it's not fully downloaded. It's say's turn it off and try again. Over and over. Sigh. So I headed back. They've never seen that happen before. Of course it would only happen to me. (Wonder why I don't like change?) And it's closing time and will take several hours. So I head home and send Bob up with it this morning. They had to replace it with a new one. But once again they were helpful and friendly. And called me on my land line when it was ready (yes...I am one of only a few that won't give up their landline. Don't snicker) So two days and two phones later I'm getting pretty comfortable. But if I have any questions I know where to go to get them answered. Life is good.

Parking at this location is kind of challenging. I went after work so it would've been around 3:00-3:40 PM. It's a nice looking plaza area with a lot of businesses. The store itself appeared clean and well stocked. They have vitamins, energy drinks, protein powders and a variety of other supplements. There was no pressure selling and the layout is pretty good. There is one shelf area for closing, discounted/discontinued items. They even have manuka honey, which is almost exclusively produced in New Zealand and they even had it in high MGO values which I rarely see in retail stores. Pricewise, I would say the retail prices are comparable to what you may find online. I didn't see any real bargains going to the store. However, if you can't wait or don't want to wait for an order, they may have what you are looking for here. There also are numerous supplement extracts. I by no means am a health expert, trainer or anything of the sort but I do recommend.
