People working here are so genuinely nice. Everything seems to be well ordered in sections and lots to chose from. Fantastic store! It's a lot bigger than we expected it to be. A super wide selection of games - whatever type you are into. D&D - had the biggest selection of giant figures we have seen. Lots of small figures too along with paints, mats, boards, 3d boards, etc. they also had a room with tables to play in and lots of buildings you can use. Video games - a small but solid selection Comics - 2 long racks full Anime - not a lot unless you like trading cards The service was great too! Friendly and helpful employees as well as a good (and free!) rewards program. read more

The TTRPG are is set up perfect. Both the players and the staff are always will to give good advice and help for new players.

I have no clue what a video game comic book store is supposed to be like. This is not my 'jam'. My friend and I came in here on a whim, since she is very much into anime and comics. I was very surprised with the selection and the variety of items. The owner was in store and was very professional, personable and pleasant. I plan on coming back and looking for some presents for friends and family. read more

Disclaimer: This is the only comic book store I have been to so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I will give you my thoughts on this as a standalone! I visited with my 13-year-old daughter who wanted to purchase some kind of a Japanese comic for a friend. Having never been to a comic book store before we had NO IDEA where to start but it was fine because we were greeted as soon as we walked in and the employee knew just what she was talking about and walked us right to the section we needed. There seemed to be a room in the back where some people were setting up for a game but it was not affecting the store area. If I needed to purchase another comic book I would return. read more

Alongside Bookery Fantasy in Fairborn, these guys provide a fantastic space for gamers all over the Miami Valley. I particularly appreciate their large (and still growing) selection of board games, which is simply unmatched around. Epic Loot also has a ton of space available for gaming, as well as rentable storage space, if you'd like to keep your miniatures army secured on-site. Spiffy idea, guys! read more

Ordered a good chunk of items online during their anniversary sale, noticed many of them were missing when the shipment arrived. Called and was told no one put aside my items at the time of my order and that all of said items were sold out. They tend to be pricey but have good sales and the store is a nice place, this experience makes me very sorry though. read more

Some folks I knew in Dayton wanted to have a gaming meetup, and since they'd visited Columbus a few times recently it seemed only fair to meet them on their turf. I hadn't heard of Epic Loot before they told me to head that way, but wow, this is impressive! The shop does have some comics and cards, but are primarily a gaming store, and are set up to serve that. In addition to several public demo areas, there are three rooms set up for miniature, card, or video gaming, complete with large, easily accessible tables, good seating, and even some neat storage lockers for people who want to store their miniatures there rather than carrying them back and forth! Even better? This place is CLEAN, and encourages the patrons to be too - they even offer little baskets of deodorant, soap, and suchlike in the bathrooms! How great is that? My only warning is the parking - the shop is in a strip mall with several restaurants and other businesses, so part of the parking lot is set up for 1 hour or less, some for 15 minutes or less, and the lot between the store and the nearby dairy queen WILL tow anyone who isn't a DQ customer. Pay attention to that when you park if you intend to be there for a big part of the afternoon! It's about 2 hour drive from my part of Columbus, so I can't say I'll ever be a regular, but if I'm going down to do some gaming in that part of the state, I absolutely will hit Epic Loot. read more

been going to ELG for a few years. originally my trips were to expand my dice collection However things have expanded and I find myself lost in the world of comics. ive interacted with multiple staff members through email, including the store owner. Everyone I have interacted with is incredibly helpful and patient. The store also has a discord server and a affiliate twitch account geared towards MTG. Through my frequent trips, 3-4 trips a month to the store it's always the same people working. The workers seem to love their jobs. They always seem happy. Nothing but love for this place. I couldn't see myself going to another comic shop. Truth is there are other Shops closer to me than this place. This place has something special about I though! read more

Epic Fail!!!! They only provide a long rack of comics! Very disappointed, I am amazed that the word "comics" is printed on their sign! I drove 22 miles to a store that sells gaming items! So if you need gaming items this is the place for you! But for comic fans do not waste your time! read more

The few times I've been there the employees will ignore customers walking in and also shopping. I waited for five minutes for two employees to finish their conversation so I could get a price on an item in the case. The prices are much higher then other stores. read more

Used to be a great store. Unfortunately, about a year and a half back, they opened up another store, and I think all the good staff went to that one. The new folks they hired have NO customer service ability, and will sit there chatting about Magic with their friends while paying customers wait. Other than that, it's a good place, but it went from having 4 star service to 1 star. Bad choice on the owners part. read more

From the moment I walked in the door I had a bad feeling about this store. It started with the employee behind the counter who was too busy stuffing pizza in his face to even bother to look up. It also didn't help that their games were displayed haphazardly on a motley array of shelves and the whole place just seemed cramped and unfriendly. The icing on the cake was watching a potential customer approach the counter and have to wait while the aforementioned employee continued to stuff his face and then the customer had his card thrown back at him (literally, as in picked up and thrown at him) with a "we don't take that here, they charge too much". Not surprisingly the customer turned on his heel and headed out the door. Very little to recommend about this store. read more

Great place to hang and play board games!!! Friendly staff who's always willing to help you out. Kristof is very good at explaining and teaching new games. I agree this store is geared toward gaming (which I am not into) and not comics so much. They do have a small selection of all the mainstream titles. What I like about epic loot is that you can create a pull list so you don't have to go to the store every Wednesday to get the titles you are following. Epic loot will work to get back issues also. Epic lives up to its name EPIC! Coolest game store I've ever been in. This place really fills out its big storefront. Best selection of tabletop games you've seen on YouTube with Will Whetons TableTop along with tons of others. They have a really nice demo table for new games as well. Awesome Magic the Gathering resale window and a huge area for card game players. They also have a separate room for Miniature games. There's a small section of comic books at the front of the store too. Look forward to visiting again! read more

Consistently short staffed, or the staff will be inattentive, but still the best place in Springfield for trading cards, comics, and board games. They have a very large selection of Warhammer 40K items, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, Magic the Gathering cards (both individual cards and new packs), and a surprisingly great selection of Pokemon TCG cards. Was in the shop a while back and was told they were taking orders for Ultimate Masters. I was instructed that I could put one on my card there and they would guarantee me a box for $299. Literally just got a phone call stating I could come get my box for $335 plus tax. If I return to this shop at all it will be for singles only. Terrible business. read more

Very spacious interior, great spaces for playing games, well lit, and quite clean. Employees are generally friendly and professional...when I came in to pick up prize packs of Magic and they had multiple people at the counter, I was spotted almost immediately and asked what I needed. Their "dice" loyalty system is neat, too. Magic tournaments are extremely organized and streamlined. The only real complaint I have is that the prices are generally just MSRP and there are almost no sales. read more

I first came to this store when one of my kids wanted some Comic book. while they have a nice selection of new comic books it is not a straight comic book store, now that being said it is a game store. I just started to get into Table top gaming and they have an excellent selection. The staff is wonderful, and a great help to a newbie like me. I have been back about once every two weeks or so to try another game. Love this store! read more

This place is just terrific. I'm a regular here so I've seen it pretty much every day of the week at some point. They offer a huge selection of different types of games from several different genres. I've never seen a place that offers the kind of t gaming space they offer which is HUGE. They have a room full of folding tables that can be used to play pretty much any type of game on, a huge room with several tables for miniature wargaming, and a quiet lounge room for just hanging out playing some board games everything from Munchkin to old school Battleship. Thursday nights are their open board gaming nights where you and some friends can come in, grab a box, and get to it. This place is truly awesome and has something for everyone. I just can't say enough good about it. read more
