We were Sprint customers for years when T-Mobile and Sprint merged. I upgraded the four phones on…read moremy account online and required customer service assistance to do so. We received our new phones but we were not mailed enough return packages or return labels. Customer service online tells me I can take the phones to any T-Mobile store and they would do the return for us. So we stopped in this store I took everything they sent me and the guy behind the counter tells me he can't do that. I say well customer service told me you can and I went to show him the text and he explains to me that not all T-Mobile locations can access Sprint customers information and that customer service online will not always give you the same information that the stores will. He does however get a larger box another plastic and packs the phones carefully and applies the mailing label. He didn't have to do that he could have sent me on my way and I would have had to figure this out myself. So with his helpfulness all I needed to do was drop the package off at the UPS Store. So I'm giving this particular Sprint location the four-star rating based on this one young man's customer service.

This is a specialized game store. They do not have most games. Just what they make…read more Apparently Game Workshop owns/makes warhammer, warhammer 40k, and a similar game with tolkien's middle earth cast. Warhammer is a tad like Warcraft to 40k's (the year) Starcraft? These are tabletop games with figurines (that you paint yourself). The game play is a table-top war method that is crossed between Starcraft and Dungeons & Dragons? I've played warhammer 40k a few times. It's fun but I wouldn't want to paint my armies. You can buy online custom or pre-painted stuff but it's at least twice as expensive. Buying the armies is a little expensive starting out. They do have starter sets around $100 if you can pick between all the cool races. The best thing about this store is that they host games and tournaments all the time. It builds a community of other warhammer players you can play with. It takes a little getting into but if it sounds like any part of this could be your thing, go in and check it out. I'm sure the workers are better at explaining and selling their own product. They also have stores in the other big cities. Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland have game workshops but regular game stores sometimes sell and host warhammer stuff too. We went in waiting on a friend at Verizon (they're the slowest and worst). We expected to browse a game shop but instead found a neat specialized store. Dayton and huber heights are lucky to have one!

An employee gave me a shopping bag as I entered the store which was helpful. There was a decent selection of lotion & shower gel on the 75% off table. I bought 3 of each. I checked out quickly & was on my way within 15 minutes. Great shopping experience.

I have been in desperate need of buying more shower gel, but put off coming to Bath and Body Works…read morehoping they would be having a good sale. Unfortunately, their biannual sales are not happening and I couldn't put it off any longer. The good news is that they almost always have some sort of sales going on at Bath and Body Works. Some sales though mean you have to buy 3 or more items to get any other item for free or to get the sales price. I always end up spending far more money than what I planned to. This location is at the Greene near the Cheesecake Factory. It's not a huge store and I felt like they did not have a lot of scent options for shower gels. It seemed like they were mostly focused on their candles. I was able to get in and just buy the one shower gel I needed and get out. There are so many smells, I find it hard to spend too much time because they all start to smell the same to me. The staff was friendly and greeted me as a I walked in. There was no line at checkout and it was a really good experience overall.

This was my first time to Town and Country Shopping center. I didn't realize it had a covered…read morehallway in front of the stores which is nice. There is currently a sign at the entrance stating that masks are mandatory but they weren't asking anyone to leave or making a big to about it if they weren't wearing one. I'm glad that there is still a brick and mortar store where you can browse books and The actual selection of books is great! You could spend hours looking through the titles. They have a fun selection of other items to look through as well. The books seemed reasonably price but in my opinion everything else was OUTRAGEOUS!! There was a large squeaking pig dog toy for $70!!!! Do people actually spend that for a novelty? We did end up buying a record (not my choice) at a whopping $40. Again, I'm sure we could've found it elsewhere cheaper but wanted to support local business. I may come back and shop for gifts but not for myself

If you like Pokemon, this is your store…read more You walk in, and you can buy a plush toy of pretty much any Pokemon you love. We call it the "friend store" because there are SO many plushies here. The walls are lined with plushies. They even carry the gigantic, multi-feet plushies from the Pokemon Center if that's your jam. Original 151 also picks up some of the Pokemon Center's limited time merch, letting you pick up some of the cuties without having to pay import fees and shipping. Prices here are higher than Pokemon Center, but they really aren't bad. Considering I don't have to pay shipping or import it, it's cheaper than buying from the Pokemon Center site itself. I love popping in here to see their seasonal merch too. They usually will carry a limited selection of the Pokemon Center's seasonal merch. It's often holiday decorations, but they have seasonal plushies too. (Summer's seasonal stuff last year included a gigantic, multi-foot Ditto pool floatie) In addition to plushies, they also have stationary, plates/cups, backpacks, jewelry, household decor, blindbox toys, Pokemon cards and all sorts of TCG accessories, keychains, and more. Plushies are the big seller, but they have pretty much everything Pokemon you could imagine. They have a niche, and they're sticking to it. They recently expanded and "ate" the store next door to turn that area into a Pokemon card game room. If you like Pokemon cards, they have events for playing. While you're here, this entire mall was kinda turned into a nerdy, anime-weeb mall. Hit up the other anime and nerd stores in the mall while you're here. It's absolutely impressive how weeb the whole mall is now. (Not even a bad thing. It's super cool.)

Maybe it's a phase, but there are certain things I dread these days…read more Getting used to a new phone when I so eagerly embraced the new technology with my last purchase....it was love at first sight when it allowed me to check in on Yelp...is just one of the things I dread. And as anyone who knows me knows I'm technology challenged. (Kate...if you're reading this you improved life when you showed me I wasn't sharing my check ins. I had no idea why no one ever liked one of my check ins.) But I put on my big girl pants and headed out to rectify that time was passing me by and my phone belonged in a museum. When they stepped up to help me they tried not to snicker. (and no...it wasn't a flip phone-or a blackberry). And everyone working here was so friendly and helpful. And patient while they walked me thru the process. Which wasn't slow. I even went to the bar and had dinner while waiting for my photos to load (Yelp photos of course.) It was kind of slick how one of the personnel kept adding little boxes to my pile, like I couldn't live without a charger you just lay your phone on. I pushed back when he added a pink cover. Do I look like I would want a pink cover??? This $hit is not cheap...I kinda gulped when I got the total. Oh well, it's not everyday you upgrade your lifeline. It's finally ready and I bring it home and start the hooking to blue tooth, setting up voicemail, downloading apps, etc. And I notice it's not fully downloaded. It's say's turn it off and try again. Over and over. Sigh. So I headed back. They've never seen that happen before. Of course it would only happen to me. (Wonder why I don't like change?) And it's closing time and will take several hours. So I head home and send Bob up with it this morning. They had to replace it with a new one. But once again they were helpful and friendly. And called me on my land line when it was ready (yes...I am one of only a few that won't give up their landline. Don't snicker) So two days and two phones later I'm getting pretty comfortable. But if I have any questions I know where to go to get them answered. Life is good.
