This company is extremely unprofessional and a complete hollow shell. I hired them to do a driveway/garage drain at my home. Initially, a "Sales Rep" was sent to my house to meet with me. He talked a good game of what they would do to. Then came the contract, which made it clear that they wanted to get paid immediately during and directly after the job was completed. (Which was without any company rep coming to see it for quality control) Mext, thy sent two high school or possible college kids to my house to permanently jackhammer my garage floor and put in a Sump pump, a 10 ft long drain (which they bought the part from Home Depot) and I k ew because I went online to see how much the material costed. But they swore to me that they used proprietary materials. when I came home from work at the end of the day, the two young men were sitting there smoking and hanging out. I looked at the simp pump location and installation and it was a disaster. It wasn't in the location the sales rep )project manager showed me) and it didn't do the job. Also the drain they installed from Home Depot was not in a straight line. It was crooked zigzagging from one wall to the other. Then I looked at the 3 inch PVC pipe they buried in place of the old pipe. They failed to completely bury the pipe and it's half out of the ground and agan, it's completely crooked. Not sure if these boys needed glasses or not but it looks horrible. When I asked the one in charge why everything was crooked (the pipe and the drain) he shrugged it off and tried to get me to pay for the remaining balance of the job. I told him no and I wanted a company rep to come look at this and let me know if they believed if this was completed professionally. He also told me that since they buried the pipe like that already, there wasn't enough time in the day to dig it up and redo it. Very sloppy and unprofessional. I paid them and spoke to the company "office manager" who barely wanted anything to do with me now that they got paid. She no sent them pictures of the completed work, they resent outa rep to tale a look for himself and he acted as if he was appalled. A few weeks later, they sent out a new te of young mean to correct the drain and simp pump and they straightened it out. They refused to correct the horrible job burying the PVC pipe but I just wanted these useless people off my property. It's been over a year and I've attempted to have to company finish fixing they screw up but they just refused. They cemented the plastic top grates to the drain down and they can never be removed to clean out debris whatsoever. I asked them to send someone to come fix it or cut the cement I. Order for the top of the grate to be able to be removed, but they insisted that leaves won't clog the sump pump at all. I reviewed all of their past reviews and read horrible reviews. I wish I read these before I chose to pay money for horrible work. When I go online now it appears they they are a 6 person small company and that they have had financial and customer issues bad enough to practically close business. Dont waste your money or ten minutes of your time here. Find a professional business to do your work. read more

We hired them to do blown insulation in our attic. Their price was comparable to another quote we received, and I ended up going with Expediant mostly because I got a good vibe from the people I dealt with. Everyone was courteous and friendly, they showed up when they said, they did the work efficiently, and left our home as clean as they could have (there was a little bit of cellulose debris in the snow, but whatever). Our house is noticeably warmer now, so I'd call the job a success. read more

If I could give them less I would! Awful company they aren't professional the job that was done is a disaster! I'm on 2 years cleaning up the mess! The cement still isn't dry the cracks are awful and instead of sealing the wall they hid the wall. The draining sysyem they put in doesn't even work due to the fact the cement isn't dry and all the drains are a mess! They jack hammered my home i know have cracks all on the cement. Since cracking more spots i ended up with radon which is another system i needed due to the fact they opened my basement floor. Their pricing is expensive for a awful job. When I questioned the mess they didn't respond and when they did it wasn't to help me fix the mess! Hire a professional as they say they aren't and if I wanted one I should have hired some one else! I can post many pictures of the mess because for 2 years I've been waiting for the cement to dry! I have to use air purifers because they did the work in the basement and dragged the cement thru the kitchen in buckets! Had i known that I wouldn't have ever hired them! Do not hire this company for anything. According to Angi reviews they seemed ok but the owner should be ashamed. I hired them for foundation waterproofing and drainage and at this point. I'm afraid their work has compromised my slab and foundation because they have been so slow at digging out my foundation with a two man manual crew using shovels and picks. They did not protect the foundation from rain and now it has flooded multiple times making me concerned that hydrostatic pressure has caused damage. I will document this project using texts and photos and will sue for damage if I have to. I lost my vacation because they said it would take four days and here we are a little over half dug out over a week later. The crew, which was supposed to be four guys is actually two, shows up between 9-10, leaves between 2-3 maybe 4 at the latest, takes a lunch break and little breaks, so basically we're getting 4-5 hours of work each day. For the amount we're paying, they could have at least had a baby back hoe to dig us out. read more

These guys did our mold remediation three years ago. The mold has returned with a vengeance. I checked the crawlspace they were to have cleaned and it was lousy with mold. They had not used an anti microbial encapsulate nor had they installed a commercial dehumidifier. Without which the mold was certain to return. Of course, their warranty is just a year and is loaded with exceptions. For the $10,000 we paid we got about three years of mold free living. Go anywhere else. read more

I recieved a quote from Expediant Environmental regarding some spray insulation work. The manager, Karl Charter was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with regarding my home. He arrived late, failed to answer any questions, and gave me a scripted sales pitch that was irrelevant to my initial call to the company. He refused to go into my crawl space to properly evaluate my concerns. During my estimate Karl said he would "wreck me" on price regarding the work I wanted done. I paid them over $12,000 to keep water out of the basement, and they couldn't do it. One sump pump they installed sent water through a pipe that they did not secure and wound up pumping water just straight up into the wall. For about 24 hours the water poured out from the soaked tiles of the drop ceiling. I spent the day moving the stuff I had put back after their job, setting up buckets and fans and a floor pump. They offered to send someone out 5 days later. After I called and begged them they got someone to come that night and simply secure the pipe as it should have been done when they first did the job. It will take months for me to put my basement back together, and I have no confidence that the system will work in the future. Hiring Expediant was a huge mistake. read more

I hired this company for two different concerns: to maintain and make quieter the dehumidifier they'd installed in this house for the previous owner and to resolve a termite problem. One of the serviceman assigned to the dehumidifier went to some care and trouble to try to customize the machine to make it quieter, although his efforts, likely through no fault of his, were minimally successful. The termite extermination, however, was a complete loss. After paying close to $2,000 for a year's service (and not receiving all of the promised visits) a year later the termite problem remains as it was before Expediant came on the job. Communications with the company office were challenging. Call-backs were hard to come by and at least one of the office workers was consistently unpleasant and unreliable. I consulted with two other pest extermination companies to see if my experience with Expediant was what I should have expected and both told me that I was way overcharged for less than adequate service. I liked that they had their bonded insurance papers and 0% financing app were easily ready to go with their info and quote. This looked to be a professional service for the attic fiberglass insulation removal, sterilized and reinstall of blown in cellulose, and then sealant of all leaks and new attic caps. Well - be sure that you are vigilant about each of these steps, they promised it was a 3 day job and it became 6 days in all. They sent 2 men each day, they arrived late around 10am and left after 4-5 hrs of work most days. This is dirty, sweaty, awfully hard work and they removed ~50 bags of old fiberglass, and ripped up 5-8 plywood floorboards and replaced with new stuff. But we did have to keep on them and have them return for items like crappy attic caps to be redone. I would say that Mike (the foreman) is ernest and tried hard to please us but was not a "listener". We had to call in the original manager who quoted the job to get him to do a walkthrough (this should be mandatory) and note some added corrective work before we would sign off. Can I recommend? Although for the most part the staff was nice and the work was done, when there were problems it was impossible to reach the main staff person responsible for the job. In fact there was a problem with the job in the end and absolutely nothing was ever done about it despite promises. I could NOT recommend this company because of lack of response and lack of follow through. read more
