I live in Northeast Georgia and was visiting in Richmond Hill- my daughter asked me to take the granddaughter to urgent care for some pain - I originally took her to a competitor's urgent care- it was dirty in the waiting room and the reception let us sit after signing in 2 people after we came in - I took the grandbaby to Expercare and the waiting room was clean. attractive and full. the reception was friendly - we were taken back in our order- all the medical team was courteous and put my granddaughter at ease- I want to say I was quite happy with our visit. Update: After a weekend trying to call and no one answering, they finally answered the phone on Monday morning (Memorial Day). I was eager to get results from my Covid test. When I was originally swabbed early on Saturday, they advised 24-48 hr turnaround for results. Two days later on Monday, the front desk explained it was late because their lab was closed for Memorial Day and wouldn't be providing results until Tuesday. This was frustrating as I took the test specifically for urgent travel and would have gone elsewhere had I known the usual 48 hr wait was now going to be 72 hrs. Later that same day, I received a text in the evening with results that had been published by a lab a couple hours earlier. Seems the lab was open! Communication here is poor. I normally prefer to support small businesses but after my experience at ExperCare I would recommend going to Walgreens or CVS for Covid testing to avoid frustration. read more

I made the 40 minute drive to come here to avoid any of the clinics Hinesville has to offer, and it was the best decision I could have made. My experience here was was night and day compared to what I've received from the diversity health clinic in Hinesville. All I needed was a copy of my foreign exchange students shot record put on to a Georgia state shot record form and it was a piece of cake. I left here happy and getting exactly what I asked for with no hassle whatsoever. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The waiting room is spotless and they even have a corner to keep kids busy with cartoons, crayons and books. For the remainder of her school year this will be the only place I'll take her, the exceptional service is worth the drive. read more

Don't waste your time with these PA's. They really don't care about helping to get you well. I spent $199 ten days ago to have them treat me for flu symptoms. They prescribed me an antibiotic and steroid for 5 days.Today I called because my chest is still full of crap and I'm coughing badly. I requested that they simply call in a prescription to clear my chest and calm my cough. Their response was that I'd have to pay another $199 to see a PA again. I refuse to pay them again. This same thing happened last year when I paid to be treated and they didn't give me a strong enough antibiotic to get rid of the bacterial infection I had; therefore I had to pay another doctor to treat me. Don't waste your time and hard earned money by going to ExperCare. They really don't care about anything but your money. I'm calling a telemed, real Doctor, who will prescribe what I need. read more

I came here for a drug screen for work. I didn't know what to expect. I had seen the building before but never really paid any attention. The lobby is small but had ample seating while I was present. The staff welcomed me when I came in and was very formerly and helpful. They immediately got me checked in. They expedient nature of the visit ended there I asked and was told even if it's a urine test you still have to wait like you would if you were sick and waiting for a provider. Similarly if you're sick you may have to wait behind multiple periods taking urine tests. Although everyone was friendly a more efficient system could be worked out. Also if you are hear in the late afternoon the sun comes in and is on your back or in your face and is very hot and bright. read more

My family and I have always gone to ExperCare for any urgent care, pre-op/pre-surgery needs; and while they haven't always been easy they've been reliable (until this last visit). Let me preface this, Dr. Mazur is an amazing doctor! So personable and reliable. You don't find doctors like him anymore. Unfortunately the staff at Richmond Hill does not have the same work ethic or inherent care for their patients. After the most horrible, and costly experience last year- I swore off Expercare. Today I was once again reminded why I was will drive to Savannah before wasting my time in this establishment. My son had a 10:30 appointment for severe ear pain, and walk ins were treated before a child in pain. On top of the other patients being loud; screaming unruly children- they had no sense of urgency to try to resolve or treat my 8 year old's pain. We waiting for upwards of 75 minutes for an appointment to then be called with people who walked in 15 minutes prior. In the back room, we waited another 30 minutes to just be seen and told there's not much they could do for his pain. And then waited an extended time some more just to receive "treatment". After the treatment, we waited again another 45 minutes for discharge instructions. Overall, I mean I understand this is an urgent care, but care a little more about the children. They had no sense of urgency for a child in pain, and I am so upset that St. Joseph's is closed on Sunday's because my baby would've gotten the proper care. Do better Expercare! read more

Not bad for a walk in clinic. I signed in at the front and was in an exam room within 30 minutes. I did wait some time before actually being seen by the doc, but then again I walked in. The staff are all extremely friendly and great at explaining things. The only reason for the 4-stars is that the exam table was so dirty at the crease where it raises and lowers. read more

Absolutely incompetent. I called ahead before scheduling a COVID test online to ask what the fee would be. I was asked which insurance I have and told there would be a $25 fee. I signed up for an appointment online for noon. At 11:40, I received the text to go in for my appt. I got there and the person behind the counter who was apparently new, asked if I had an appointment, I replied yes at noon and I just received the text to come in. She said well it will be a 2 hour wait. I said even with an appointment? She said I heard you... and yes... even with an appointment it will be a 2 hour wait (with a lot of attitude). Well apparently she was incorrect because the nice lady next to her told her it wouldn't be 2 hours that their system would bump be ahead of the walk in people since I had an appointment. So I took a seat. The waiting room was pretty busy... at least half of the people didn't have on a mask despite the facility being advertised as a COVID testing facility. A maskless couple sat behind me with their "service dog" while the gentlemen coughed and hacked. I waited until called by the incorrect last name to be told there is a $50 copay. I said when I called the person told me $25. She asks to see my card. When she came back to the counter she said there was a $60 copay for urgent care PLUS the $25 for the COVID test. Needless to say I left without being seen. Scheduled a CVS minute clinic visit for later today. I will not be going back. read more

Called in to get information on how to properly get my covid test and was given the wrong information not once, but twice. When a provider at Mall Blvd was approached she denied any wrong doing by the company for the receptionist putting out the wrong information. We weren't looking for any reimbursement or something for free but the acknowledgement that this is unacceptable behavior and will be corrected. Instead she wanted to argue and really argue with me that they are right because the receptionist don't know my details and I should talk to the airline. That is fine to put the research to me and I agree with that, but I don't agree with them giving incorrect information and me having to pay for 2 sets of covid tests for three people. That's $450 each time. Just don't give advice and tell people to refer to the airline then it's on the customer to have correct timelines. read more

They have these procedures down, Better than the military!! I usually use the VA for all my medical needs, so if it wasn't an emergency, I would have never come to the clinic. I went in to get treatment for a yeast infection or unitary infection. I ask for a refill on my sinus medication and the threw me outside to take a Covid test. I had already taken a Covid test in their office before and chronic allergies is in my chart. They did not treat what I went in there for that day and I am still suffering. read more

I was a patient about 4 months ago. My insurance wouldn't wouldn't go through so I had to pay out of pocket. Was told that once they got all my insurance, I would be refunded. The following day of my appointment we got a hold of my insurance and got everything figured out. So I Got told our refund was underway. Here I am four months later still waiting, spoken to multiple people and been told multiple times that I was gonna get a callback from the manager. Still waiting, keep getting told the same thing and starting to get irritated. Staff was good about helping me during the appointment, but now the manager can't seem to refund me my money. read more

Worst experience ever at an urgent care. I went in for severe throat and ear pain. They tested me for Covid and it came back positive. Josh the doctor quickly said it's just Covid go home and rest. I begged him for some medication because my throat is in so much pain I can't even talk to my children. It's just me so I need to be a functional human, I don't have the luxury to just go home and sleep.... Newsflash I can't sleep because the pain is so intense. All this guy wanted to do was rush me out as I literally cried all the way home in pain. I hope you can't overdose on throat lozenges because if I don't have one in my mouth I'm literally choking on my pain. I've never had a doctor tell me when I say I am a 10 in pain that there isn't anything they can do for me. read more

I do not recommend using this Urgent Care facility, there was nothing urgent about their customer service. I had a 9:20am appointment and by 10:40 had still not been called by the receptionist to see the doctor. And to top it all they extracted payment for services out of my bank account while I was waiting in patient lobby and hadn't even seen the doctor. All were friendly and new facility in Pooler is very nice, but be warned....they are very expensive. Went for a COVID test and they charged me a $100 "convenience fee". Then they charged insurance $309 and don't show that I already paid $100. Now I get a bill for my portion of insurance for $193. None of this was explained. I guess I can understand the insurance portion, but that "convenience fee" seems like a scam to me. I plan to fight the charges and report them to my insurance company. Will not return. read more

ExperCare will always be my go-to for urgent care. Wait times are short, the office is beautiful, and most importantly, the staff genuinely cares about their patients. They go above and beyond in everything they do. What more could you ask for? I've always had a fear of needles, but the incredibly professional and caring staff put my mind at ease and helped talk me through getting blood drawn. It was a quick and painless process and I was surprised at how calm I was through it all. I still don't particularly like getting poked, but thanks to the people at ExperCare, I'm no longer fearful. I know that whenever I go here, I can trust the staff to take great care of me. Being sick or hurt is hard, but ExperCare makes it so easy to get better. If you're trying to decide it this is the urgent care for you, trust me, just go. You'll understand. They do amazing work. read more

I went to ExperCare after experiencing symptoms of a stomach virus. Upon my arrival I was checked in by one of the females at the counter. I have her my Identification and my insurance info. She copied my name down incorrectly even though it was on my Id. She didn't try to see if my phone number or any of the info from my previous visit was still correct Then I was told to wait in my car and they would call me but they didn't call. The one of the staff finally came to the car to verify my info . That's when we discover that my old phone number was in the system. I was directed to pull around back for further screening. Even after I my test came back I still had to sit in the car and conduct my appointment that was which was inconvenient. Then when I went to pick up my prescription I wait 30 minute still nothing from the ExperCare. I called and spoke with them twice before the realized the issue. The person that I spoke to said that I had given them the wrong name . I told them that I didn't even use my middle name , my first name was on my invoice , my records , and the doctor referred to me by my first name . I received a call asking if I was ok and I decided to call and see if I could get something for the cramping but I was told to go to the ER. A stomach virus can last longer than 3 days but the medicine that I had ran out after 3 days . I would not recommend this place at all . Service was horrible! Drive Thru Appointment Booked for 8:40am my child was not serviced until 1pm. Staff lacked compassion. Communication skills amongst staff seemed to be nonexistent. Once checked in and triaged, no further instructions were given. We were left in the parking lot for hours as we watched other drive thru patients come and go. At one point, the front desk staff assumed that we were serviced and complete because our names were no longer on the waiting list. I was seeking a primary care physician. They advertise they give primary care. I made an appointment for a preventative care exam. Health insurance covers the cost of preventative exams. I was told there was an $125 office charge because they were an urgent care facility. Well I had an appointment, not urgent care. Left disgusted in that I had wasted my morning. The staff at this facility is amazing! My daughter had to get stitches here this week. Which was traumatic, my daughter was screaming(she was scared) My son was crying (he was upset about his sister). And the team working with my daughter never once got frustrated. I love this office. The staff is really friendly and they make you feel really comfortable. The doctor I saw took the time to really find out what the issue was through tests, instead of just guessing and sending you home with a bag of medicine that they are not sure will work like they do at Richmond Hill medical home which is my primary care office. Each time I have visited with my sick daughters, they have gone above and beyond delivering just the treatment and care that we needed. They even called to see how we were doing a couple days later!
