The girls who was at the front rudely told me they not seeing anyone else span her chair back around and started back talking to the girls again. Maybe it's my fault for going there 15-20 mins before closing time but I got injured on the job and they are in network for my job that's the place I was directed to go. I was traveling and needed to see a a physician and have a lab test. I called the office to see if I needed an appointment or if a walk in was ok. They suggested an appointment be made online. The online system seemed to only work for next day or later so I called back and they helped me make an appointment. I had an appointment within 2 hours even though they were busy with CoVid testing. They are having people with CoVid symptoms wait in their car until called back then the staff go to the car to do the test. Everything was clean and the staff could not have been nicer and very professional. I did have a wait once I was in the room so expect to wait - they are really busy. I was so glad I did not have to go to the hospital emergency room and I am very happy with my experience. read more

Called in to get information on how to properly get my covid test and was given the wrong information not once, but twice. When a provider at Mall Blvd was approached she denied any wrong doing by the company for the receptionist putting out the wrong information. We weren't looking for any reimbursement or something for free but the acknowledgement that this is unacceptable behavior and will be corrected. Instead she wanted to argue and really argue with me that they are right because the receptionist don't know my details and I should talk to the airline. That is fine to put the research to me and I agree with that, but I don't agree with them giving incorrect information and me having to pay for 2 sets of covid tests for three people. That's $450 each time. Just don't give advice and tell people to refer to the airline then it's on the customer to have correct timelines. read more

Despite the circumstances of our visit, we had an excellent experience at this ExperCare Urgent Care location. My three year old son was running a fever and feeling miserable, so we brought him to this facility for it's convenient location and because they accept our insurance. The receptionist was friendly and cheerful. The waiting room and restrooms were impeccably clean and well equipped for restless toddlers. We were called back in a timely manner and seen by Christina for vitals. She was calm, kind, and caring. She was patient with my grumpy three year old, and she brought him a popsicle at the end of our appointment. The provider was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. My son was diagnosed and his prescription was sent to our pharmacy quickly. Our whole family left feeling much better, and my son had a smile (and blue popsicle) on his face, despite having an ear infection. 6/5 stars. Highly recommend! read more

I waited 2 hours to be called back. luckily I wasn't active sick or bleeding, just routine test for work. I highly recommend apple urgent care off abercorn. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I got a rapid test for covid on November 30th. I was told I would be charged $75 with my insurance. They took a picture of it. Then I ended up being charged $150. I understand mistakes are normal especially during covid. The reason I gave one star is because the communication between their staff is terrible. I called the first week after to inform them that I was charged a different amount than what I was told and I got a voicemail for about a week. Then she called eventually and said there was nothing she could do because she only deals with billed accounts not charges to a card. She sent my call to the front desk and they said they would leave my name and number for someone to call me back. Never got a call back. Then I called again and they respond with the same. Finally they called me and when I explained my problem the person then sent my call to another employee and she said "We can't do anything for you after hours. I suggest you come in the morning to get tested". I said you were the one who called me and I got tested 2 weeks ago and I am asking about my charge" and now I was told to call someone else". It has now been over 2 weeks and have probably called them for help over 15 times with the same type of interaction. And I STILL have not been helped at all. I have been as patient as I possible could, but this is ridiculous. Never go to this place. read more

ExperCare is an oasis in a land of bad medical care that is Savannah. Seriously. I broke my thumb and bruised my hand in a typical too-old-to-be-doing-this softball accident. It was 3pm on a Saturday and I knew my hand needed some attention but wanted to avoid the ER. Looked online, found ExperCare, gave them a call and was given friendly and efficient info, went in. The offices are spotless, front desk warm and inviting, brought right in to see Dr. Gaylor. Really, she and the nurse that was assisting could not have been more thorough, kind, professional. Splinted my hand, gave me a RX, quick stop at the front desk, and I was on my way. AND Dr. Gaylor personally called the next day to see how I was doing. How often does that happen? This was a great experience, top to bottom. My husband has had a number of health problems so I've seen a LOT of Savannah physicians, and sat in a lot of offices. This was tops. read more

I went to urgent care Tuesday for headaches, congestion, and body aches. I was told that they were going to test for Covid, the Flu, and RSV and it was even listed on my discharge paperwork. I was told that it would take 24 hours to get the results. I called Wed and no results. I called Thursday and that is when they told me that no test was actually run. I had to then ask for them to call in something for me because they discharged me and told me to get something over the counter. It is now Friday and I am still incredibly sick. I don't know why the test wasn't run. I feel like the NP and the Nurse got into a pissing contest about the test. Either way, I would avoid this place as they are incredibly disorganised. I was turned off by the sign-in process but I proceeded with the appointment. You will not be greeted when you come in and it feels very automated which is not a good feeling. I don't see myself coming back to this location. I will be going to Apple Care in the morning to get a COVID and Flu test that I should have gotten from this location. One reason that I am so disgusted by this visit is that the NP completely missed the mark by not testing me. The went as far as to swab me be not to submit it for testing because the nurse came up with the idea to test instead of the NP. The visit was also very rushed. For what they did I could have gone to Target and picked up some OTC medicine and hoped for the best. The staff does not communicate at alll. read more

Came in after having a fever of over 100 for an entire week the whole staff was friendly and helpful and the wait was minimal and Dr Andrea was very attentive and knowledgeable - I am not one that likes the doctor (given the fact that I waited 8 days to go in) but I will be bringing my business back to ExperCare and will recommend them to everyone. read more

Place was very clean and very pleasant. Went in with 4 kids. One had put his top teeth through his bottom lip. Nurse took child back immediately to clean him up. I was able to sit with other children while they colored. Nurse came out to keep me informed of what was going on. Dr also came out to inform me about stitches. Both dr and nurse seemed very caring. I stayed in waiting room with smaller children while they stitched my son. I felt very comfortable leaving him back there. Everyone at front office was very nice and helpful as well. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I came into this urgent care running a terrible fever and a chronic cough that was constant and a hard time breathing. After already had been tested for the flu the day before, she disregarded that it was negative, performed no tests and said she was SURE it was the flu. After I asked 4 times about a chest X-ray and the likelihood of something like bronchitis or pneumonia , she assured me it was just a symptom of the flu and that it would go away and there was no need for an X-ray. The next day I fainted, had someone rush me to the ER, did a chest X-ray immediately, and WHAT DO YOU KNOW!? SEVERE CASE OF PNEUMONIA, NO FLU AND ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL AND RUSHED MEDICINE. My daughter visited this urgent care clinic last week for symptoms similar to strep throat. A culture was done and she was placed on antibiotics. I will say the clinic was very courteous to call and check on her two days in row to see how she was doing and also stating her culture did not show strep, but if she didn't get to feeling better to come back to the clinic. I also should mention I have insurance, but since the clinic is considered an urgent clinic I needed to pay out of pocket which cost $150 and they would still file my insurance. (The clinic advertises cash payment discounts. I paid cash and was not offered a discount). On Sunday 4 days after being seen in the clinic my daughter wasn't better after continuing to take her antibiotics and also taking medications over the counter to alleviate her other symptoms clearly associated with a probable sinus infection with no relief. My daughter who is in grad school and missed 3 days of school because her illness and me (her mom) being an RN called the clinic to see if she could return for a possible steroids or injection. I was politely told it would cost another $150 since they will have to listen to lungs and make sure nothing else was going on. I agreed with the clinic staff an assessment of lungs should be performed, but she is not a new patient and was seen less than 4 days ago where she was obviously missed diagnosed. I also verified the same provider who diagnosed my daughter was the same provider in the clinic the day we called to see if she could return. I informed the clinic I was willing to pay for an office visit not a new patient visit, but an established patient visit and also pay for the injection if needed. I was then informed I would pay the $150 visit or she couldn't return. I completely understand the emphasis of making money as a healthcare provider as I've been in healthcare for 30years, but also believe in quality of care and clearly this clinic has their priorities on the money and not quality or positive patient outcomes. read more
