Despite having several friends and family members that had their eyebrows done (from other places), I just never saw anyone artists work and felt like they could really give me the results I wanted. Price wasn't really a huge factor for me because I believe you get what you pay for. I heard about Iwama Clinics and from my very first photo I reviewed online, I knew this was my place! I was blown away with all of the model photos online ... but to be honest, they don't even do the artists work justice! I decided to go in for a consultation, with no plans on making a decision that day ... but from the moment I walked in the door and met my artist, Xiomara, I was sold. I just felt like she "got" me; which says a lot because I did not come in with any examples of what I wanted ... again, I had never found a prior example of work that I loved (for me). But somehow she just knew what I was looking for. She could tell I was really nervous ... I mean it's permanent makeup and I'm a blonde, so that makes it even more complicated. Xiomara really took her time with me. Honestly, her chatting with me to understand what I was truly looking for took longer than the actual procedure. Xiomara was amazing & she let me make decisions during the entire process. I really gave her ultimate decision making because I didn't completely know what I wanted - I just wanted them to look better than they did and she did not disappoint! I was absolutely blown away with the results!!!! I went for two sessions & honestly, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made!!! I wish I would have done this sooner ... but sooooo happy I did not go to any other location to get my eyebrows done. I am very fair skin and my eyebrows look so natural! The worst beauty and customer service experience I have ever had…read more I would strongly advise anyone considering this salon to think twice. I went in for a lash lift and eyebrow lamination, and within 24 hours my eyebrows looked like almost nothing had been done. Shortly after, my lashes started falling out. I've had lash lifts before and have never experienced anything like this. I have timestamped photos documenting the results and screenshots of every conversation. What disturbed me the most was what happened afterward. When I contacted the technician because I was unhappy with the results, I asked if she had ever used the product on anyone before. She told me she had never used that product before and didn't know how it was going to react. I was horrified. No customer should find out after a service that they're the first person a product has been used on. I was never asked if I was comfortable with that or given the choice beforehand. I felt like I had been treated as a test subject instead of a paying client. Before the appointment, I was required to sign paperwork stating there were no refunds. When the service went wrong, they immediately used that policy to avoid taking responsibility. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted my money back because I no longer trusted them to perform another service. Instead of taking accountability, they blamed my lashes, repeatedly reminded me that I had only paid 50% of the regular price, and acted as though a discount meant I should accept poor results. A discount should never mean lower-quality work or excuse unprofessional service. I repeatedly asked to speak with the owner or manager, but I was refused every single time. They would not let me speak to anyone else or provide any contact information. Instead, they told me to stop contacting them and even sent me the message, "I also came to understand, thanks to you, that evil can arise from good." I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully by any business. This business showed no accountability, no professionalism, and no concern for customer satisfaction. Instead of fixing the problem, they hid behind paperwork, refused to let me speak with management, and dismissed every concern I had. I have photos, timestamped evidence, and screenshots documenting everything I've described. Based on my experience, I would never trust this salon again, and I strongly recommend taking your business somewhere that values honesty, transparency, and its customers.
